It was odd to Lewis that his gate ring was missing. It wasn’t an absolute emergency; if it came down to it, he could ask Simone for a gate to just about anywhere. But, Lewis was not one to misplace items. The only logical thing was that it had been moved by someone else. Simone hadn’t seen it, so that meant…
“I guess I’ll ask if any of the maids have seen it,” the ex-assassin said with a sigh. “And hope that I’m wrong about the twins.” Though, the twins wouldn’t have even needed it. Not that they would know how to use it properly anyway.
As a last ditch effort, Lewis checked under their bed. It was at this time that Llywellyn burst into the room, and Lewis bumped his head on the frame. Groaning, he sat up, and as Lly explained the situation, both Lewis and Simone started to work out what may have actually happened.

Everett was an ‘average’ student. Not in the sense of his grades or potential, but more in the way that he sat near the back of the class, and tended to pay an average amount of attention. Every so often, he would daydream, but it never really hurt his grades. Today, though, was show and tell. Dala had brought him a world class cook book, and he was going to show it off today. If he was lucky, maybe the teacher would let him try to cook something for the class one day.
He was, sadly, outshone by his sister though. Everyone seemed to be very confused that there was a rather tall, lanky boy with a confused look on his face standing next to Alshaya’s desk. When anyone tried to ask a question, Shaya merely made an obnoxious shushing noise and said it would all be answered when it was her turn.
Both Alshaya and Everett, having the name Terrowin, were near the end of the class for their show and tell. Finally, it was Alshaya’s turn. With a gleeful look on her face, she stood up, dragging the boy with her.
Everett stared as Alshaya took a breath, ready to explain what she had brought to show and tell. She was going to get into SO much trouble
