Adeluna has become a hotbed of terror and death. Citizens are being terrorized by their neighbors, friends, and even their own families. People are beating one another viciously in the streets, seemingly without provocation. Angela Rose had originally deployed her team of Clerics and Healers to aid with the situation, but it has become so dangerous she has ordered them to withdraw - something nearly unheard of.

Those attacking the innocent have a strange feature - eyes of deep crimson, very similar to the rumored appearance of the eyes of Dalanesca, the Reaper of Souls and Harbinger of Darkness… what could this mean?

In the last hours of the day when the green glow reached its peak in the skies the desert let out a terrible groan like it is alive. There are reports of vivid mirages showing up. A large ghostly city with a pyramid in the center. A red glowing crystal can be seen levitating in the skies. A vortex appears whenever the screams in the night sound through the desert. Souls of the dead and dying appear to be pulled into the crystal. Scholars have theorized that the city appears shortly before the kidnappings begin to happen… The cities of the Waste give their warnings.

Reports have been rolling in from explorers traversing the Plains of Bohar - reports of a large, spiral tower, stretching into the clouds, appearing out of nowhere. The tower itself takes the shape of a nonagon, each of its nine sides finished with a hazardous point. No one has been able to get close enough to the tower to see where it came from or what it contains… but the reports also mention strange, unexplainable creatures floating around the base of the tower, as though they are protecting it…

Something is happening!

In some of the most renowned cities of Canelux, there have been eerie complaints made about strange and vivid images seen a few days after the massive tower sprouted from the very earth. These images range in great amounts of terror and panic that has caused for people to be on edge. Many have spoken of their experiences of witnessing the grotesque suffering of others but also that occasionally, the victims will actually try and pull them into it. Some have been left babbling nonsense after such moments pass, stating that they don't wish to die and that they were good in life. While most of these situations have been passed off as some sort of hallucinations caused by insomnia or by partaking in too much alcohol, authorities do not think that the two incidents are isolated from one another and warn the public to remain in their homes during the evening hours where the plight is at its peak.

Over the whole continent of Canelux, the skies have begun to swirl with harmless raging Life and Death magic. The energy this is generating has flung life and death into a sense of partnership more than ever before. People are finding themselves more healthy should they be on that scale but if they are sick they find themselves struggling more. The feelings of Love and Desire are also being amplified at this time though not to the dangerous or miraculous levels the life and death magic have.

This seems to be in response to the events lead by Dalanesca and Xunatar.

Over the Valley of Vada, red and black rose petals have begun to rain down all across the valley as if… showcasing what will be.

SOMETHING IS HAPPENING

In the dead of night when the rose petals are at their peak twin voices rise in the minds of mortals and gods alike. "A bet has been made. A chance to show the heart of mortals has risen. This time you will be given a chance. This time your actions will have the ability to right the wrong or worsen the state of affairs."

Dalanesca can be heard next, "I really hope that I am proven right and that you have not learned at all."

Angela chimes in after her, "I think my dear sister that you will see that the heart of mortals is more than what meets the eye."

An arena of sorts has begun to form in the Valley of Vada. All those who wish to fight have been given time in advance to prove themselves… but what is it that the Goddesses have prepared?

The seas are growing restless at night and if one listens hard enough they might hear crying amongst the waves. Reports are pouring in that an underwater volcano has gone off in the center of the Nyella Ocean. A lone village was the victim and there are no survivors. Upon inspection of the village, everything was drowned in lava that had sprung up from the sea mysteriously.

The moons are focusing light now on a patch of the Nyella Ocean called The Luna Sea. Parvpora has turned red and Canelux has turned blue but something is off as time goes on cracks have appeared on the moons' surfaces like they were glass. At night the moons have started to flicker like they are losing their light. The groaning of the ocean has turned into inaudible whispering that one just can't quite make out. It sounds like a chorus of a thousand people trying to get their story across.
