Along the coasts of Canelux thick fog has rolled in. The land is rumbling as if something large is coming. Those who have gone to investigate have not yet returned.

It came with a crack of thunder, or so it seemed, in the middle of the night. The sound itself was odd since there were no storms that night. It was oddly quiet throughout the lands of Revaliir. The crack itself wasn’t a force of nature. It was the rage of an individual coming down on all those who needed to be judged. Judged doesn’t seem quite right does it? Just the word itself is coming off your tongue with a taste of iron as if you had a wound inside your mouth.

On every doorway no matter the rank or race, a new symbol has appeared with the cracking noise. Scholars are racing to open their books to find the symbol but it has never existed before this night. Seemingly all of Dalanesca, The Justiciar’s symbols have vanished from the books, causing the scholars to wonder what on earth is happening. 


To make matters worse, scholars have investigated all of the houses plagued by the new symbol. They were able to deduce that every house involved had a dying or dead relative inside. Clerics were brought in to determine that most of the dead had died all at once and the dying were soon to follow. No known healing abilities have stopped the dying process.

All across Revaliir people are coming by elaborate masquerade masks and paper lanterns. Attached to each one is a note that reads:

All across Revaliir more portals that lead to Suishō no Kyūden have begun to sprout. The light coming from the ever glowing pools seems to have gradually intensified. The black tourmaline that usually borders these entrances have grown to stalagmites: drawing in negativity from the areas they inhabit as if cleansing the air of psychic poison. From atop his mountain top temple, The Lord of Light sits on his hovering throne. Something is happening, and he’s pushing it to advance…

On the eve of the Ignius season, most are preparing to harvest the fruits of their labor in the long, warming afternoons. Others dream of being carefree with the days and find this the best of times to adventure and spend those star filled nights looking up to the heavens. Instead, Canelux seems to be stuck in a limbo of Glaciem- thick grey clouds mask the blue sky and the sun itself from the eyes of the natives. Freezing winds blew furiously and snow blankets the lands and the crops. River and lakes find themselves frozen and panic is spread about the land. Those in Parvpora, though not directly affected, find themselves deprived of trades from those of Canelux. Word has been spreading around from the natives of Itjivut about seeing a beam of chaotic energies shooting up to the sky from the mountainous region up north days before the change in climate in the mainland. Some had made the trek only to find a sinister stronghold there….

SOMETHING IS HAPPENING

A strange new apothecary has taken up shop in the streets of Adeluna. He offers the regular tinctures and cures one would expect, but among them, something new has been included. A thick, dark substance, administered via injection, seems to be the most popular item the apothecary offers. Demand is high for the substance, and people seem to be thoroughly enjoying its medicinal properties.
