"Simple" said the Rogue, "I need lots of blood for the summoning to work" his voice was void of any emotion as he lunged forward with his rapier hoping to knick an artery.

"You're moving too much." He droned. His rapier began to glow as he enchanted it with the paralyze spell and thrust towards Collin once more. 

Reginald was bleeding out fast. He looked up into Alistar's red eyes. Reginald knew what he was. "Don't… mind me. Go…" he coughed, "go help Colin." His blood began to pool around him and was flowing like a river into the room where the battle was taking place. He touched Alistar's face. "Battle…binds all men. No matter what they are." With this, Reginald slipped into unconsciousness.

"Oh! Just great! Another hero! Don't be so heroic, I'm almost done. Your gonna need to rest a bit anyways though." Alistar finishes and quickly rushes to aid Collin. This man needs to be gotten rid of, Now! Alistar thought, not caring about concealing it any longer. He steps in front of Collin and grabs the rapier by the tip of it's point. "Let's not do anything we might regret shall we?" Alistar let's go, letting it pierce him instead of Collin. He smiles innocently and let's his wings come out as he is slowly paralyzing.

Collin seemed shocked for a moment, but not as long as the thief, he was baffled. Collin swiftly went around Alistar and stabbed his broadsword into the thug's side, the blade sunk deep. The thief fell from where he stood, he gargled soon after hitting the floor, Collin flinched at the scene he created. Collin turned to check on Alistar, he was paralyzed on the floor, Collin had no idea what to do. He then checked on Reginald from a distance, Collin couldn't tell if he was stable. 

Collin noticed his blood dripping from his hand, and seeping through his clothes, "We did it, I guess…" Collin said blankly. Collin couldn't tell if this was a victory, everything seemed to go wrong, but they succeeded.

Reginald was Heavily wounded, but alive. However, his lost blood in addition to the now dead thug boss was enough to light up the circle. All other lights in the room dimmed as magic pulsated through the air. The room hummed, but nothing happened. A tension filled the space of the room as if it was waiting for a final step. Some last procedure that would rip through the air itself and release whatever demon the thieves' were trying to summon into the world.

Alistar blinks, standing up. "Wow, that was longer than I expected. My power must have been weakened." Alistar huffed, pouting. "This always happens! Whatever, is everyone alive?" Alistar tried to refuse the fact that he had done one of the stupidest things ever and got stabbed by a paralysis enchanted sword. He was not always the brightest angel, but he always got the job done.

Collin turned to Alistar fast, "You have a lot of explaining to do before you get all comfortable, but we got to leave, something doesn't feel right." Collin went to pick up Reginald, "We need to get Reginald to safety too." Collin couldn't start his questioning yet, the humming in the room was making him feel uneasy. 

Reginald began to stir. He was unsure if he had died or not. He winced as he propped himself up on an elbow. He saw the thief boss laying dead on the floor, and Alistar's magnificent wings.

"I never would have thought I'd be fighting side by side with an angel." He said with a weary smile, "well, care to get me out of here boys. I've had enough of this place."

Alistar sighs "Let me see what I can do. I can't move you on my own and with your wound I don't trust moving you either. My magic could break, causing the wound to get worse."

Collin picked up Reginald, "I believe we'll be alright carrying him out of here, staying here will accomplish nothing." Collin starts walking out the way he came.

Reginald's wounds reopened a little, but he insisted that it was okay. It was more important to find a cleric to come in and sanctify the place. He was glad to live to fight another day, but now he needed rest. It would definitely be a while before he back on his feet.

Noland waited outside. He was scribbling in a journal. He looked up to the group. "I'm glad you all made it out alive!" He said smiling, "Did you learn anything while down there?"
