Synthesis rose onto her tippytoes to peer at the top of the other female's head. She reached up to push the maid's red locks this way and that to get a good look. There was definitly silver there, glistening in the sun when she exposed it. She brushed her hair back into place and stands back.

"Yes, there is silver there. Not too much, mind you." The girl informed, "Has this got something to do with the transformation you just underwent. Or just your heritage in general?"

In the meantime, Synthesis was looking around the town center nervously for any signs of their enemies from before. As if to confirm her suspicians, she saw a scruffy looking man by the enterance to an allyway. He motioned two fingers from pointing at his own eyes to pointing at her. We're watching you was the message. Then he drew his index finger in a line across his neck. You're dead. Then he disappeared into the darkness of the narrow side street. However, the message had got across loud and clear. They were probably surrounded and if they tried to leave, there would be trouble. Synthesis decided not to say anything for now. They were safe for now - resting - and she wanted to know about Jesgil's hair. But if the other girl decided she wanted to leave the square, she would have to break the bad news.

Her eyes shrunk a bit hearing there was, but quickly reset when there was not much, having Jesgil laugh up the embarrassing show. "Not much you say? Then I guess I can go for a couple more weeks without worrying of dying it again," she commented, reflecting a big smile. "My hair is actually a natural silver, but I never think I look good in it. Sometimes, though I do worry that when I make those minor shifts, more of it gets exposed.

"Now then, shall we get going, or would you rather get a drink before we depart? During my time here, there was a small shop that served some very refreshing tea." She did not need to see anything to hint at the danger towards them. Merely the malice in the air tipped her hat off that they were not done. Still, Jesgil felt confidant, having conserved a lot of her energy during the confrontations to feel at ease in case things went awry.

"I'd say lets get a drink but I don't have much money. So perhaps we should try to find a way out of here. The problem is that I think they have the town center surrounded. Someone was making hand signals at me just a minute a go which would imply so, at least." She sighed in fatigue and set about healing her other hand. The steady stingher the burnt flesh there was distracting and draining. Also, especially after finding out what she just had, she concluded that Jesgil wasn't going to need her services as a healer any time soon anyway. "For now, let's scout around and see what we can see. The larger streets would probably be the safest, then any sort of detour through buildings would be helpful. If we could find a way onto the rooftops without the guards noticing then we might stand a very good chance." She knew there were a lot of ifs and buts in that plan but it was all she could think of.

"As much as that would be wise, I think the consequences are not worth it," Jesgil stated, looking upwards. "After all, if we can see the ceilings here in a casual manner, what would stop a guard? Suspicions would rise of our actions, and I would fear our hands would be our least worry." She then looked back down and level before turning to a alleyway, watching a figure move back into the shadows. "And it seems any movement in the shadows would be dangerous because of our pursuers. Our best bet would then be to stick with the open and head for the main exit. After so much distance, we would be out of the land's laws, meaning we should expect one last ambush. However, if we can surviveĀ  when push comes to shove, I am quite sure that we would be able to keep on our ways in peace. We expect them, so they cannot catch us flatfooted, and the open land means it would be more challenging to catch us in a pincher like in the alleyway.

"So while you think we should be scouting the area, I think it would be wise if my mistress would take the moment and rest, regain her mana, and enjoy a relaxing drink for her own safety, as it would help ready for the potential outcome as well as the long journeys we have ahead of each other."

Synthesis nodded. Maybe she was just overeacting. It was in her nature to be a little skittish and frightened in dangerous situations, though she had vastly improved since first arriving in Revaliir. They should just walk out into the open via the busiest streets and then take on anyone that decided to attack them outside. They would show them that they were not worth the trouble by putting up the same sort of fight as before and soon be on their respective ways. Not to mention that she had a dragon on her side - not that she expected Jesgil to use that ability. It was dubious and obviously something the other female understandably did not want to resort to.

In the meantime, a drink did sound good. She had already used a little of her water on her hand - now healed - but had plenty to quench her thirst. She gulped down most of it and offered the rest to Jesgil. Fighting for one's life was hard, tense work and the liquid served to soothe her throat and her jangled nerves.

"In that case," She replied, "Maybe we should just be on our way. We can walk slowly and talk about whatever you like. I will recover more slowly but I will regain my energy and breath nonetheless. I think leaving this accursed city would be just as beneficial to my wellbeing as sitting and drinking tea in it. What do you think?" The thought of being in peace amoungs forest trees and grassy plains was most appealing after what they had just expirienced and a great motivater to get her moving.
