OOC: Listed below are the inhabitants that live on the isle. You might recognize some of them from the pet shop. This list will continue to grow as we expand our lore. We will put the real-life counterpart’s name in parentheses so you can look them up.

Dire Cassowary (Cassowary) – These vicious (but tamable) flightless birds are certainly ready for a fight as soon as they see you. While they tend to only eat plants they have been known to eat meat as well and this can make them unpredictable if you are wanting to capture one for riding. They are one of the most dangerous flightless birds in existence as their spurs on their feet can not only disembowel their victims but also decapitate if one is not careful. Regular cassowaries found in Onnen average almost seven feet in height but these Bakulaw monsters get closer to twelve feet in height. Onnen Cassowaries average one hundred and thirty pounds but their giant cousins are closer to two hundred and fifty pounds. The Dire Cassowary can carry two to three people depending on the weight but they are proud birds who won’t let just anyone ride them so prepare to prove yourself to them if you want one as a pet.

Hari (Tyrannosaurus Rex) – These large creatures are hailed as the kings of Bakulaw Isle and are vicious predators. Their heads are so massive their tail is the only thing that keeps them balanced. They average forty feet in length. They weigh nearly sixteen metric tons. They have one of the fiercest bites on Bakulaw Isle and researchers believe that their saliva could be toxic to its prey (if their prey even lives after being bite by these big beasts.) They are predators and scavengers so beware.

Kalangitan (Quetzalcoatlus) – One of the largest flying creatures on the face of Revaliir these ancient creatures are toothless and feature long stiff necks. Their wingspans average about forty feet in length. Their weight averages five hundred and fifty pounds. These creatures are big enough to built small houses on and are often captured for transportation reasons. They are carnivores who hunt fish and other small vertebrates.

Katerba (Velociraptor) - A fast predator found on Bakulaw Isle you best be prepared to run for your life if these nasty creatures find you. They average about seven feet tall and weigh on average about one hundred and eighty pounds. They feature both colorful feathers and scales but have been observed being able to camouflage themselves well. They are extremely territorial and live for a good fight and live in small packs. This means that they often take down larger sized prey and share among themselves. Their skin is incredibly thick and durable compared to other animals on Bakulaw and you may find your sword won’t be enough to take this predator down. If you can manage to tame one they make a good mount for distant travel just beware the teeth.

Pakpak (Pterodactyl) – These ancient creatures have a wingspan averaging almost four feet. They tend to have ninety sharp teeth and prey on small animals like rabbits or fish.
