Celeste was beginning to get very worried about Lirin. By now, there should have been some letter or visit. For the entire life of the twins and most of her pregnancy, Lirin was off galavanting around the world. However, they both knew how hurt they were when they thought each other lost, vowing to never leave things unknown between them if they could help it. Her twin was beginning to come up between her and Larka more often, making it known to her wife how serious the matter was becoming. But when Lynx came trotting up, Celeste’s heart twisted in such fear, she had difficulties breathing. The basket of fresh herbs crashed to the ground as she screamed for Lakra.

Fortunately, Akira was also home, who had developed the talent to speak to animals effortlessly. “Don’t worry, Mother. Lynx isn’t here with bad news. She knows where Lirin is.” It did not take the family long to dress and arm themselves, ready to defend the woman if they needed. The foxling had a sword on her hip, Celeste had swords, daggers and her bow and quiver on her back. Larka was dressed accordingly as well. Leaving the twins in the care of Neera, the three found themselves traveling Onnen. Lynx took them through a trail into a set of mountains until they came to a rather hidden valley. Nestled at the center was a rather ornate small town.

At the town entrance, however, was where they ran into trouble. A pair of tall tanned men stood, crossing their spears before the three of them. “No visitors until further notice.” Lynx just trotted past them without any hindrance. ”So, you’ll let a fox in, but not us?” “Without proper clearance, no visitors” ”No disrespect intended sir, but according to that fox you just allowed in, my sister is in there. I’m sorry, but we did not follow Lynx here just to be turned away now.”

Life had been amazing since the twins were born, no danger, no fighting(aside from beating the crap out of two asshole angels but that was fun more than anything). Just Larka living at home with Celeste taking care of their twins and Akira whenever she was at home with them. Larka couldn’t be happier with her life at the moment.

However, she was also aware that Celeste was growing worried about her own twin sister, Lirin, who they hadn’t heard from in a while. Too long in fact and it wasn’t long after Celeste started to worry that Larka did as well. So when Larka heard Celeste scream for her Larka was up and darted outside, leaving Kyu to look after the twins for a moment. She saw the fox, but thankfully Akira was here today and was able to speak with the fox as Larka wrapped an arm around her wife to comfort her.

The fox, Lynx, knew where Lirin was so Larka and Celeste got themselves ready. Neera would be left to look after the twins, but Larka also left Kyu and Tsar as well just in case. Larka had her sword at her hip and her left arm created from stone, held together by her earth magic.

The journey was long, and Larka hadn’t been thrilled at the prospect of having to travel over the ocean again, motion sick the whole time. But they arrived in Onnen, the first time Larka had been there in fact, and followed the fox to the hidden village. Their progress was blocked by two large men with spears blocking their entry into the village, but they allowed the fox to travel through. Celeste tried the more diplomatic way but Larka was a but more up front. ”If Lirin is there, and we know that she is, then we’re going in to see her. So, you can either let us in peacefully and let whoever is in charge know that we are here, and we’ll find her and visit and leave and cause no problems. Or, we’ll cause you two some problems. Your choice.”
