Personality:

At her age and with her life experience, there isn't much that can rattle Larka anymore. There is little that she scares her, though she has some closely guarded fears. When not in a fight Larka is laid back and usually goes with the flow, she doesn't have the temper that she had in her past, however because of her missing arm, if anyone thinks she can't fight anymore she is more than happy to prove them wrong. Even when in a fight Larka is collected, until she starts to get wounded and loses herself to her Reaver powers(more on that later in profile), but otherwise she done it all before, at least in her mind.

Larka fights with a whipsword. A class of sword that can act like a normal sword but with a flick of a wrist the blade will segment into connected sections allowing a more whip like fighting style. Switching back and forth between the two forms during a fight and controlling the sword in whip form takes practice, but Larka has trained with the weapon most of her life. Even with one arm it allows her fluid motions and a range of attacks, so it's a capable weapon for her and has lasted her years of service. (using an Urumi as a sub) Larka also carried her first wife's, Lilith, rapier and will use that in a fight as well, though not as often as she's not as good with it and doesn't want anything to happen to the blade either. It's one of the last tokens she has of Lilith, apart from their wedding rings.(I'll make sure I own all this before it's used IC course :) )

Background:
(this could get long so I'm going to condense it as best I can lol)

Larka was born to parents who ran a mercenary troupe, but they raised as best they could until one time they didn't come back from a job. Larka was around 12 when that happened and already by that time her mother was well into training her with a sword and it was easy to see that Larka had inherited a lot from her mother. Before becoming the Reaver she is today, Larka was a class of warrior known as a Berserker, like her mother was. Channelling her anger and temper into more power in a fight. After her parents disappeared Larka's grandfather took over her training, he was her mother's father so he knew well what kind of powers Larka was working with as she grew up.

She stayed in the life of a mercenary for most of her life, even to this day. However, when she was into her late twenties she met and soon married a woman named Lilith. Together they bought their ways out of their respective troupes, having been rivals before falling in love, and built a house and then adopted twins, a boy and girl, Keenan and Mhairi. For a few years they spent a happy life in their home in the forests, until a small army of orcs marched across the lands intent on the city to the North of their home.

Larka and Lilith put up a strong defence, but the numbers were against them. Larka watched during the fight as her wife was cut down and, having been separated from her family, her children slaughtered. Her left arm was cut off just before the shoulder and she was left for dead in the mud while their home burned. It was still burning when Larka woke, somehow the mud and dirt had helped to stem the flow of blood from her arm, it wasn't much and it wouldn't last and Larka knew it. The smoke attracted the attention of some travellers who found her, crying over the bodies of her family. They helped clean and tend her wounds and then helped to get a small pyre made to cremate the bodies of her wife and kids. Larka travelled with them to another city to seek better healing, though she was for a long time at a loss in her life without her family. She took to drinking while she tried to relearn all of her sword work having lost her sword arm, and she'd fight anyone who dared cross her, using her anger and pain from her loss to fuel her Berserker powers. She travelled far North to where she knew her mother's home tribe was located. After finding them and convincing them of her heritage she was allowed to live with them. There, Larka was shown a new power, that of the Reaver, a group of warriors granted their powers by consuming a mixture of powerful ingredients and dragon's blood.

She decided she wanted that, since if she wasn't strong enough the concoction could kill her, what did she have to lose? Her drinking and continuing mourning of her family was making it harder for her to become angry enough to use her strengths after all, she may as well try. She set out and retrieved the blood needed for her first drink. Larka survived it and, while she lost her Berseker abilities she gained new possibly stronger ones. Larka stayed with them for a time, finding their way of life, for a time, something that she enjoyed.

However, a few years on and Larka decided it was time to move to new lands, her mood improved a little. While she still mourned her family she found herself better able to control her drinking and other bad habits, when she wanted to of course.

Larka travelled across the ocean to a new land, and it was here that she met a elfen woman Celeste. The two got along well, very well in fact. It took some time but eventually Celeste was able to crack through Larka's self imposed inability to fall in love again. She helped Larka move on from the loss of her family, and, in doing so, earned the Reaver's love. The two eventually married, Larka allowing her heart to open once again to new love, though of course she'd never forget Lilith and their kids.

Celeste and Larka fought battles together, and sometimes fought with each other, as couples do. But the love was there all the same and they were happy together. Celeste was also helping Larka with her drinking problem, and with an open marriage, the two of them were free to be with others, yet they were always happiest with each other. That was, until Celeste disappeared, having not come back to their home when she was supposed to. Already knowing that kind of loss Larka started a search for the elf right away. Since that disappearance Larka also started drinking once again like she used to before.

That search has led her to these once again new lands, having followed a lead that said that Celeste might be here somewhere. Why she would come here without telling her own wife Larka has no idea, but she wanted to find her wife and find out why this was all happening. Larka has been searching for just over two years now, she's getting desperate and that may lead into recklessness. Deep down she's really starting to feel depression which is why her drinking is on the rise again, her thoughts sometimes turning to those that involve her never finding Celeste at all, searching forever for her. For now Larka is hiding that darker side of her emotions and thoughts well, but the more time goes on the worse she will get and the more cracks in her emotional armour will appear.

What is a Reaver you ask? Put simply;

They are a class of warriors who become stronger the more wounded they became in battle. They draw on the pain and fear of the enemies around them, and can shrug off pain like a duck can water. However, a wound is a wound, and they will eventually take their toll on a Reaver's body. They can heal themselves, however. As their abilities are drawn from blood of dragons, so to can they heal from the fresh shed blood on their enemies. Unlike a vampire that drinks the blood, a Reaver absorbs it through direct contact, drawing the life energy from the blood before it dries. While it's not a perfect system, as they can't heal a great deal by this method, it can serve to keep them in a fight longer. Which means more wounds, which means they can grow even stronger. Once a battle is over, however, and there is nothing left to kill, the high ends and the Reaver can crash hard, depending on how wounded they became. These powers are granted by consuming a special mixture that's main ingredient is dragon's blood, Larka knows how to make it as they need to consume some every month to keep their powers going. The withdraw for a Reaver is harsh if they cannot consume when needed. When becoming a Reaver, the initiate must be the one to claim the first batch of dragon blood for their induction. How they get that is up to them, kill the dragon, wound it enough to get away with some blood, or have it given willingly by the beast itself.


Larka's new Earth Elemental! It can vary in size depending on how much power she puts behind summoning it at any given time. Made of stone, crystals and gems.


This is Larka's familiar, Tsar. She has no idea what to call him, it, her… whatever, so she says he and his name is Tsar. Extremely protective of Larka and her family, he'll jump in front of an arrow or a sword for her.

However, some devious-minded magi were able to capture specimens of these bandaged creatures in order to reverse engineer their anatomy and the necromantic energies that powered them. Now, with enough silver and materials, you too can hire these shambling tanks of death to serve you. Unlike other military units, they do not decay over time, and can reform their bodies if they are not completely destroyed. Scarab Choker
These scarab shaped ornaments are made from the bodies of the live scarabs that infested the resurrected capital of Aysut. Even in death, they maintain a portion of their master's call, but that call has been bent by the magics of the living. Anyone wearing these chokers can temporarily command the scarab piece to duplicate itself into a small group of illusory scarabs. These scarabs will have eye-shaped hieroglyphics on the back of their shells that the caster can see through, and, so long as the spell remains active, they are completely under said person's control.

Natus Hookah
A rare item that almost no one has seen before. This hookah allows you to heat up the contents using coal. The liquid inside is what makes this hookah odd. Liddell Hobby Horse: A mace in the shape of a hobby horse. This weapon is incredibly odd. Crafted for one Miss Liddell, these hobby horses neigh whenever you swing or hit someone with it. The pointed horn is crafted from hard steel. The mane is razor sharp. The tipped weight makes it an excellent object for swinging. It’s eyes are almost alive as the thrill of battle makes its eyes glow.
