She nodded with his explanation of it having just been a bad dream and said with a relieved sigh, "Oh, well I'm glad you're ok." She still felt to blame for the whole of his misfortune that day but from his words about it not being her fault to the apology for worrying her she figured it would just be an endless back and forth type of conversation so let the matter lie. She did give him a smile and commented, "it's only natural to worry when a friend is hurt, so no matter the cause or who is at fault the same feelings would be there which would lead to the same actions and the same worry." She paused and blinked a few times as if just realizing something before asking, "Hey, it is ok if I'm your friend right? You seemed really reluctant to any sort of interaction before so I figure it's best to get your permission instead of just assuming."
She nodded as he thanked her and smiled at her. This brought another smile to her face. The nod was half to acknowledge his thanks had half to herself as she thought he looked better with a smile instead of that frown, much more approachable. With a mischievous smile she reached out and messed up his hair with one of her hands. "You're fun to be around when you're not all depressive and crying all the time." She said in a teasing manner as she suppressed a laugh at how she found his messed up hair funny.
She looked up to the stars and let out a sigh. "Having slept recently I'm not really tired, but it's night. What to do, what to do." She stood up and stretched. She looked t Kyro and opens Her mouth to speak when a breeze drifted through the leaves of the shrubbery. With the rustling of their leaves her eyes widened in surprise and she looked to the south west and said in surprise, "What…" another breeze and more leaves rustling from the long grasses this time. "Where?" She asked seemingly no one probably looking like she had lost her mind. She nodded in silence and her childish look was gone, she seemed gravely serious as she quickly collected her belongings. As she did so she spoke to Kyro, "I'm sorry if that seemed a bit…strange… my people have the ability to communicate with plants and animals, and I have been called upon. It's both from the pride of my people and that the ones in need of aid are ones that helped me out earlier when you were sleeping, getting clean water when mine was almost gone, that I must go. Apparently after they helped me she and her two children were been captured by a group of humans who intend to strip away their freedom, separate them and sell them to the highest bidder." She had finished putting everything in her bag and looked at Kyro and nodded, "If you wish to come with then I welcome it, if not, well then I guess this is where we part ways. Either way, they are about two hours southwest from here being held for the night. So I plan on breaking them free and punishing those who have fallen to greed." She let him know where she was going just in case he decided to come along but couldn't keep up. In the blink of an eye she as off running to the southwest at a speed that would match that of a wild animal.
When she first saw the fire, the humans had started as they ate and drank the night away in celebration of their catch. She sunk close to the ground and moved silently closer, taking in every detail of their camp. There was a cage off the the left half in the shadows being guarded by a single guard to make sure their prize didn't escape. She smirked as she cast her eyes over the rest of the camp, there were close to twenty men here. She would have trouble if she was spotted. No matter how fast she was twenty was violently to overwhelm her. No, she would have to go in stealthily to free the three she had come for. After spending quite some time analyzing the area and coming up with her plan she finally was ready to act. She set her bag down so it wouldn't get in her way and silently crept off to the left, hiding amidst the knee high grasses, maneuvering her way through them without making a noise. When she reached the area that the grass ended she was about ten feet away from the back of the cage. The guard was leaning on the front side of the cage watching the others sing, talk, drink, eat, just have an all out merry time of it. Inside the cage three pairs of scared eyes looked her direction as she just made her way out of she grass. She held a finger Her lips then took a ready stance as she prepared her magic. Then in a flash she was no longer on the edge of he grass but behind the guard, one hand covering his mouth, the other had two fingers pressed into his lower back. It was already too late for him to shout for help as she had paralyzed him in his exact position. She let her hand draw away from his mouth now that it was clear he wouldn't be able to call for help. She was hidden from the sight of the others by hiding behind the guard. She stood still for a moment, making sure she hadn't been noticed before creeping to the back of the cage his in shadows. "Don't worry I'm here to help." She whispered to the three inside. I really do hate all humans, but I'm glad to see you girl. They mean to take our freedom, I can not allow this to happen, if the worst is to happen, please at least save my children. Lily reached through the bars of the cage and put her hand on the mother lions cheek. "I've come for you all and will not accept less than getting all of you out of here." The bars on the cage were a strong metal, they would take some time to cut through, and the only way she had to do so would be quite noticeable. She would need a distraction. She sighed and wished she had paid attention to if Kyro had followed her. It didn't matter now. She needed to get everything ready. She pulled forth her magic and pulled the shadow in deeper around the back of the cage, manipulating both shadow cast and shadow weaving so that as she cast her next spell and summons a small fire elemental it's light would be blocked from prying eyes, well mostly, it was still likely to be seen, that's where the next part of the plan came in. She politely asked the fire elemental to us it's power to cut through the metal bars so that the captives could escape, she then stood up, took a deep breath and teleported herself about ten feet off the ground in the middle of the camp. A dark look had taken over her features and that demonic like a wrapped around her like a cloak as she fell to the ground, this was part of the plan, as she fell she pulled back her arm and timed it correctly so that it shot forth and hit the ground before her. She had a smile on her face that seemed to be enjoying the chaos she was about to cause. As her hand made contact with the earth she instantly channeled her magic below her and had it radiate outwards. There was a rumbling then the earth exploded around her, bolts of lightning radiated outwards from the epicenter. She landed on the ground and immediately look the defensive. Her surprise attack wasn't very strong damage wise but it sure was flashy and it everyone's attention. Sure she could have focused on damaging the enemy but part of her flashy spell was explosion, that had as much of a risk to the caster as it did the target. She let out a little laugh as the men quickly armed themselves. She smiled a dark smile at them as the demonic like aura around her almost seemed visible. "Before we get to all of your punishments for being controlled by greed" she said and her eyes flashed darkly as she continued, "does anyone want to play?" She knew she couldn't beat them all alone but she was hoping to at least buy enough time for the lions to make their escape.
