He could tell rather quickly that the boy had changed the moment he saw him. He already knew that the impact of the truth would hurt him the moment it all came to him when the clues came together. Cyprus had all but ruined the boy in order to make him into a suitable puppet for her grand scheme. Even thinking of her made the god frown still. But now she was gone and out of his hair and their son could finally flourish. The young child certainly found herself attached to Colden, something that would have never happened before. If he had kept up his attitude from before, surely he would have hunted and killed even her along with the rest of his mother’s family. All for that throne he so greedily desired.

Colden wasn’t too thrilled with having his father over here; it wasn’t that he was afraid that he would do something. As much of an absent and lukewarm father he had been, Xunatar had still played a role in his life, for better or worse. Things were more complicated now that he was a god. One thing was for certain, he knew that his father was always scheming something in that devious head of his. Fortunately Crystaline was able to calm him down with ease while he kept a good grip on Cinder, something that his father had noticed and paid attention to right away.

Xunatar saw the way she spoke about his son and how her body spoke more than her words. Her approach didn’t faze him though she stopped briefly before Lotus reassured her. “No no, it's quite alright.” The Demon King couldn’t really care nor felt threatened by her need to touch him. Personal space didn’t really play a part for demons anyway. “Clever, we are. I have a good deal of features that he naturally has.”

Colden had wanted to warn her, but it looked as though everything would be alright. There was still some trust issues he had with that side of his family, but Steele and Dante had grown on him. Perhaps one day he would be able to have that with the others as well, seeing that he had several more brothers and sisters. Aria came into the room and soon he handed Cinder over to her, though she wasn’t going with a fight. “It’s alright, I’ll see you soon”, he spoke, kissing the top of her head before she was escorted away. Green eyes fell to his sister and her teasing before rolling his eyes.

“Oh I know, Crystaline. He and I don’t have the best relationship, but he is a child of mine. I do wish to see that he isn’t manipulated into doing something stupid like what his mother had planned.” It seemed as though the girl had him wrapped around her finger, though it was of a innocence matter on her part. “You are quite the reformer. This Colden is much more different than I have ever encountered. You must tell me your secret.”

Race: Angelic Rosenite
Gender: Female
Class: Lost
Silver: 1327
Crystaline took her time to feel up the demon king’s face. She was thorough as her fingers went for every crevice almost memorizing every line and feature, no matter how small they were. “You have features in common with Steele and Dante heavily as well, but the differences from their mothers' are remarkable too.” The half angel said as she pulled the memory of the brothers into her head to compare.

She only lowered her hands when Aria showed up to take Cinder away. “Promise Uncle Colden,” Cinder managed to get out before all the toddler fussing started.

When Xunatar told her one of his ‘fears’ she tilted her head. “I wouldn’t let something like that happen to Colden, not again.” She reached out and took Colden’s arm into hers as she found herself back at his side and snuggled her head into his shoulder. She made sure to listen to what Xunatar had to say. When he asked her for her secret she had a puzzled look on her face as she thought.

“I suppose… I suppose it’s because I was rather stubborn with him and refused to go away even when he wanted me to.” Crystaline’s words made Lotus smirk and chuckled just a bit towards her brother. “Eventually he opened up to me and… things.” There was a light blush against her cheeks as she turned her face into Colden’s shoulder now with a smile. “I never thought it would be easy to get him better, I just decided I had to be stubborn with him.”

She lifted her head a bit in Colden’s direction. “He’s the one who went to Angela and asked for my wings back though… I think he did a lot of the work getting better on his own more so than he has realized. I wouldn’t be with anyone else though…” There was that blush again. “He makes me very happy and it's been a long time since someone has deeply cared about me aside from family… Well… I suppose he is family but that’s not really what I meant.” She rambled a little bit.

“It’s alright Crystaline, We know what you meant,” Lotus reassured the flustered angel and watched as she calmed down slowly thanks to Lotus’s words. “We seriously owe you a lot for being as stubborn as you were with Colden. For someone who cannot see and is so small you are very mighty…” Crystaline’s face was red once again at the words.

“It wasn’t anything… really. I just wanted to help.”
