Hefeydd stood, staring at the other fairy, his face a mask. His wings twitched, the only sign of his agitation at having been tricked into revealing himself in this game of hide and seek. So soon into the game.. Had this been her plan all along? He remained silent, listening to Raya's explanation, barely hearing it. Her compliment went over his head, he was so caught up in berating and cursing himself for being a fool. He didn't know why it was but ever since meeting this bothersome fairy things like this kept happening to him. It was getting to be… Tiresome, and dangerous. What if there were other fairies here watching? What if there were members of the court here? Bad enough that he had lost to the silly fairy, but he had intentionally revealed himself to her. He had… Forfeited the game. His wings vibrated more as his agitation grew. The whole time he was lost in his own thoughts, bordering on self loathing, he was staring at Raya, his eyes locked onto hers. It was only when she looked away that he was able to shake himself out of a building sense of melancholy. The demon was still out there, hiding… All was not lost. He thought things through and a grin spread across his face.

"Raya," he whispered, stepping in close to her so that his voice wouldn't carry too far in the quiet under the tables, "I think I have a better idea… What if we leave Gran here, hiding. You and I still have things to do, fun to have. We can see how long it takes her to figure out we are gone, too. Won't she look silly?" His hand moved, slightly, as if to reach out and take the other fairy's but Hefeydd stopped it. Traitorous thing, what did it think it was doing? Without waiting for a reply from his companion he spun around, continuing to spin while taking steps away from her, giggling quietly as he did so. "There's so much for us to do out there, do you really want to hide under here all night?" He thought back to what he had done to that mortal in yellow earlier, and began thinking about all the other things they could be doing now. His eyes sparkled with mischief.

Gran had been happily flying away, thinking about how she was going to hide from the fairy when she realized exactly what she was doing. She had been spending too much time around the idiots, it seemed. Well, at least these two were a step up from those babbling wrecks back at their little fairy glade… 'Theirs'. She froze in place as she thought that through. When had she begun to feel like that place was anything to do with her? She owed her existence to those deranged little fools, but that didn't mean she belonged with them. Cursing herself she swiftly changed direction, heading off into the hall. Let them play their games, she was done with that for the night. She would forget about them for an hour or two and see to her own needs.

Silver: 441
Shivers ran down the fairy’s spine as her companion leaned in to talk to her, first saying her name in a whisper. Arayna was not sure how much faster her heart could beat, maybe that is why she felt so groggy. The fey attempted to take deep slow quiet breaths as she listened to what Hed was telling her. She needed to listen, she felt really bad for botching the game of hide-and-seek.

Leave Gran hiding, would that not be mean, Arayna managed to conjure out of her dancing thoughts. The fairy felt both relieved and saddened when the man spun away. His enjoyment eliciting a soft smile of her own, he was fun to be around with his antics and quirks. It was not boring, with time dragging, biting into her in a way that sapped her sanity and made her contemplate killing herself. It was such a nice change from being bottled. If she had to forget so many things, why could that feeling of endless entrapment be one of them?

Feeling more like herself, though still a bit dazed, she finished her quick survey. It looked to her like Gran had gone down the hall anyway, well they had not agreed to how far one could go. “What do you have in mind, Hed?” the fey asked keeping her voice low and soft, leaning into the wobbliness in her voice by making it singsong. Clearly, she needed instructions, she had not even been able to start a proper game of hide-and-seek.
Hefeydd

Hefeydd looked back over his shoulder at the other fairy, a grin plastered across his face. He didn't say anything as he floated away from her, feet hovering just above the ground as he approached the edge of the tables to look out into the hall and get a better idea of what they could do. There were some simple things of course, minor pranks that could be achieved while they were here by the food and drinks. Spells and poisons that would cause some pretty interesting things to happen…

The fairy wrapped shadows around himself and then thought that perhaps more would be needed. After obscuring himself he wound more magic around his shadow wrapped form, becoming invisible. Wings beating, he rose to the table tops and began looking around but was mildly annoyed and disappointed by what he saw. There were already all kinds of enchantments weaved into and onto the foods and drinks, someone had been here already and done exactly what he had wanted to do. To do anything extra now would be a waste of time. He wondered if it was other fairies… Perhaps from the other court. Had that been Raya's purpose in distracting him with the game? Keep him busy while other fairies began causing mischief? His brow furrowed, and almost absently he summoned some fruit and planted it in some of the bowls. The fruit was cursed, it would cause whoever ate it to become endlessly hungry. They would then eat more of the enchanted food, and the more they ate… Hefeydd began to grin to himself. The more they ate the more chaotic the reactions with the enchantments would be. This was good. Let the other fairies waste their time and power on these things and let him come by and claim the victory for himself.
