Hefeydd stood, staring at the other fairy, his face a mask. His wings twitched, the only sign of his agitation at having been tricked into revealing himself in this game of hide and seek. So soon into the game.. Had this been her plan all along? He remained silent, listening to Raya's explanation, barely hearing it. Her compliment went over his head, he was so caught up in berating and cursing himself for being a fool. He didn't know why it was but ever since meeting this bothersome fairy things like this kept happening to him. It was getting to be… Tiresome, and dangerous. What if there were other fairies here watching? What if there were members of the court here? Bad enough that he had lost to the silly fairy, but he had intentionally revealed himself to her. He had… Forfeited the game. His wings vibrated more as his agitation grew. The whole time he was lost in his own thoughts, bordering on self loathing, he was staring at Raya, his eyes locked onto hers. It was only when she looked away that he was able to shake himself out of a building sense of melancholy. The demon was still out there, hiding… All was not lost. He thought things through and a grin spread across his face.
"Raya," he whispered, stepping in close to her so that his voice wouldn't carry too far in the quiet under the tables,
"I think I have a better idea… What if we leave Gran here, hiding. You and I still have things to do, fun to have. We can see how long it takes her to figure out we are gone, too. Won't she look silly?" His hand moved, slightly, as if to reach out and take the other fairy's but Hefeydd stopped it. Traitorous thing, what did it think it was doing? Without waiting for a reply from his companion he spun around, continuing to spin while taking steps away from her, giggling quietly as he did so.
"There's so much for us to do out there, do you really want to hide under here all night?" He thought back to what he had done to that mortal in yellow earlier, and began thinking about all the other things they could be doing now. His eyes sparkled with mischief.

Gran had been happily flying away, thinking about how she was going to hide from the fairy when she realized exactly what she was doing. She had been spending too much time around the idiots, it seemed. Well, at least these two were a step up from those babbling wrecks back at their little fairy glade… 'Theirs'. She froze in place as she thought that through. When had she begun to feel like that place was anything to do with her? She owed her existence to those deranged little fools, but that didn't mean she belonged with them. Cursing herself she swiftly changed direction, heading off into the hall. Let them play their games, she was done with that for the night. She would forget about them for an hour or two and see to her own needs.
