The pirate haven of Vilpamolan… it truly was a vile place full of corruption and sin. It had been abandoned by the civilized cities and left to fend for itself long ago, and this was what emerged from those ashes? A cesspool of greed, lust, and violence…it was sickening, but it had survived, and no doubt would continue to survive, infecting its inhabitants with its corruption.
It had only been two days since she had first arrived in this horrible place, but in that time she had managed to find out small amounts of the history of this place. In the long run she had been impressed that the humans and other species had managed to survive this long without completely killing each other off, they seemed fond of killing each other…and their own. The amount of people jammed into every street still made her feel sick and on the verge of a panic attack but she was slowly getting used to it. Her sense of direction in this place though, that was the only thing that seemed to actually be getting worse. She had been wandering the streets for hours trying to find her way back to a certain tavern but was completely lost. Mercury eyes closed in frustration as the woman keeping to the far side's of the streets sighed. A delicate looking hand pulled lightly at the long, white braid her hair was fashioned in to try and center her mind once more. It was to the left, wasn't it? She took left on the next street and sighed again. She was hopelessly lost. Giving up hope of finding her way back for the moment she headed into the nearest building. It just so happened to be a tavern.
She walked in with a cheery attitude, completely oblivious to the atmosphere of the place. It seemed to be a dark, brooding, violent place. She was like a fluffy pink unicorn prancing into a den of wolves. People stared but she didn't seem to notice. She almost skipped over to the bar, so relieved to be off of the crowded streets. She had been searching for where she was meant to be since early morning and it was nearly sunset now, she hadn't had anything to eat or drink all day and was parched. She leaned against the bar, some of the men started whispering and making suggestive motions towards her behind her back and laughing. She didn't seem to notice, she had an innocence about her like that of a small child not knowing she was in quite the situation. She asked the barker for something to drink, expecting water or something of the like, but he gave her ale. She downed the whole glass before realizing the strange taste. She pursed her lips slightly, thinking they really needed to find something much better to serve as a drink here. The friend she had made the other day had explained what a tavern bar's purpose was yesterday but she had fully expected at least something tasty to drink. The bar keeper was looking at her in slight shock from her emptying the glass so fast. She didn't want to insult the man by saying his… whatever it was that he had given her… tasted bad, she was just so thirsty, so she smiled politely at him and asked,"May I have another please." She made her way through four glasses in a similar manner as to the first. Her head was starting to swim. She was feeling very strange. She pulled out some money and handed it to him.
Apparently she had gotten drunk, not really knowing what being drunk even was, and in this state three men waved her over to their table. She walked over with a questioning look. "Hey, pretty lady. How much for he night?" One of them asked.
"What?" She questioned, looking confused. The second man stood up and put his arm around her shoulders and said, "How much do you charge for us to, ah, enjoy your company for the night."
"Enjoy my…company…" She looked at the ground, finally grasping what they were implying. The aura around her seemed to change as rage filled her like an ever consuming fire. She plastered a smile on her face as she looked up, they didn't seem to sense the shift in her. "So, you think I'm a whore. You're all going to die for that insult." She had never been so insulted in her life. To be called a maiden of sin so easily, it made her lose all rationality. They would burn. The man touching her suddenly felt all the strength in his body slip away from him. The woman on the other hand her strength seemed to boost to an unnatural level as she grabbed onto the man's arm and flung him over her and across the bar, not looking where he landed but hearing a crash of some sort. She was instantly lunging across the table at the two man that remained. Before they could react she had a hand on each of their foreheads they seemed to freeze in place before blood started to drip from their noses and they fell to the ground. She stared at their bodies with rage still in her eyes.
