He was berating her again. His voice lashing out at her performance today, never mind the fact that her meal beforehand was drugged to make the weapons feel much heavier for entertainment sake. She lost the round, causing her owner to lose out on the betting funds. This resulted in another night of no food along with being hung from the walls overnight, though without any sign of the passage of time, it was to be felt like an eternity.

Her arena name was Eden, though her original name was long lost and forgotten. Her owner worked her hard into becoming a champion to the arena: strong, yet admiring, as if to woo the men to bet for her. Not like sex appeal had a use in the arena. Nor did talking out of a situation. her owner treated trained her as thus. When she was victorious, she could sleep normally while enjoying his scraps as a meal. If not, she would be as she was now…

The chains echoed through the chasm as she adjusted herself once more, making sure she did not lose feeling in her arms. They were her tools after all. If they did not work, then she would become useless, and useless things were always scrapped away. Her dull eyes stared down the barren room she was once again left in, spotting a glass of water resting on the table. Of course he would do that. Of course that drink was not for her, but for himself when he came back to retrieve her, yet every time, it rested there, tantalizing. It was her reminder for her to do better next time.

A reminder that taunted her at every second it existed.

once again she found herself running from a fight to save her pursuers from a horrid tworcher. She was in human form as she often was when she was in cities. she quickly hid in the arena. Seeing them run by she relaxed against the wall she may not have to fight after all. She jumped up at the sound of chains rattling. than went to find the source. 

She stopped as she saw a woman hanging by her hands against the wall. quickly she looked in the room to make sure she was alone than walked in. She hated slavers and felt bad for the girl for she once knew how those chains felt. "Are there keys?" she asked in a low voice dripping her hood back. She was going to free the girl and maybe even bring misfortune to her owner. slave owners were the one thing she took joy in hurting for they hurt others and fill that many are below them.

He better pray not to meet her for he will wish he was dead when she was done.

There was commotion in the hallways… much earlier than she anticipated. Normally, she would have been left for hours in the silence except for the ringing of chains, but this day seemed different. Turning her dull gaze up to the entrance, a new figure had appeared. She had only ever seen her owner as well as her enemy combatants, and they never knew of this room, so this person was obviously a stranger… Was it someone her owner sent to tease her?

Still, her tone did not sound as intimidating as her master was today nor the foes she had ever faced, however, what was asked of her, she had no real idea, tilting her head in confusion. Never was she bothered to know most words except for what her owner considered "basics" for her. None of the words the other said was considered a "basic," so the words slipped over her head.

Her arm started to go numb once again, filling up with a fuzzy feeling, forcing her to ignore the other and readjust herself. Even if she was placed in this situation multiple times, it did not stop her from losing feeling in her limbs if not in check. Every time, she wished she could get free, but she was never in the shape or position to tear them off herself. She did not care how she was released, as long as she can get proper footing on the ground.

It was obvious she did not understand which made her even madder at the girl's owner. She looked at the chains and focused unlocking them with her magic, they immediately opened letting the girl fall to the ground. She than walked to the girls side. "You ok?" She hoped the girl at least understood that much. 

In a sudden moment, the cuff on her right wrist popped open, forcing her right side to drop down suddenly, the sudden force, though the sudden jolt downwards left like a beast was trying to rip off her left arm until that shackle popped open, dropping Eden down to her knees. All that remained was the shackle around her neck, though it seemed like the metal itself was forced into a solid piece, making unlocking it not an easy task. However, being down on the ground, and the tantalizing water right in front of her, it gave her enough adrenaline to simply tearing off the chains near her neck before shoving her rescuer aside for the glass of water.

Practically drowning herself in that glass, Eden was engulfed in the relief it offered her. This night she would not be nearly parched as her owner teased her with this, knowing he would only drink it in front of her come morning. Once the glass was polished off, she let off a relieved sigh, enjoying the pleasure of her throat before pausing, the glass slipping through her fingers and crashing only the floor, shattering into splinters.

She… she did something her owner did not allow. What… what would he do to her this time? Would she be thrown out like the others who disobeyed? Would she have to suffer "fate worse than death"? The thoughts started to fill her mind, her dull eyes suddenly shifting into a sharp panic before curling up into a ball. Arms curled over her head, she murmured to herself, as if begging for something…

Seeing the girl go for the glass and downed it she almost showed emotion. Vin walked to one of the tables and looked over a document. it was written in a old elvish tongue. she looked up to see a mental breakdown. "Shhh. they will hear you." she said in the same language as was on the paper thinking that she was just speaking the wrong one. "No one will hurt you ever again as long as you listen to what i say." she than conjured up a small loaf of bread and walked to the door way.

She started calling sparks to her hands as she heard footsteps coming down the hall. Seeing a man dressed in nice robes she shot the lightning from her hands hitting him. she than walked up to him and dragged his unconscious body into the room. she than hung him on the wall as the girl was hanging. She than let her claws come out and cut a backwards S with a tail into his hand. she then turned her hand back to normal and walked to the door. "Come."

She was breaking the rules her owner had set up, but she couldn't deny herself from devouring the spawned bread before her. Her survival instincts were taking over, telling her that she needed to eat, despite being denied food for that night. She drank because she was denied water… And now something was calling out in her head… to break away from what was holding her back. Whoever, this girl was, she seemed eager in aiding in that cause to. She had no idea how she would get by outside, considering all her memories was being in servitude to fight for this man, but her instincts were now telling her that she could only progress by ending her servitude. Damn be all, even if she gets hunted like a dog, she would rather face this "fate worse than death" than be a toy.

As the other dealt with one of the guards stationed, Eden walked out of her little cage, feeling free for the first time. Not like she cared at the moment anyways, considering her eyes shined with a feral fury. Screw stealth. Screw hiding. When it came to the first man she saw, he declared, "Oh, you ar-" before taking his face into her hand and crashing it into the wall behind him, knocking him out cold. He was not her prey… None of these people were her prey… None of them… except for one.

vinsue smiled as she watched the will to be free come to the woman's eyes. She had let the girl free but knew she had a lot to learn before she could take on the world. Vinsue had to almost run to find the girl who was obviously going after her owner. Revinge a thing that could be quite sweet yet so bitter but it was going to happen tonight. 

They walked down the halls tell they came across two guards in front of a doorway. She formed a ball of lightning and shot it at them. They screamed as they fell and quickly went unconscious. She than kicked the door open.

It was safe to say that throughout their struggle through the guards, the noises they produced at least attracted the attention of some of the nearby guards, as the chambers soon found themselves flooded with the banging of gongs, catching the attention to all the workers insides, along with the other slaves. This was soon followed by the echo of popping latches and cuffs before what sounded to be an orcish voice echoed through the chambers.

"IT SEEMS WE HAVE A LITTLE ESCAPEE…" echoed through the tunnels in a booming voice. "CAPTURE THE STRANGLER AND ANYONE WHO AIDS THEM, AND I WILL BE SURE YOU ARE REWARDED. IF THEY DO NOT COOPERATE, FEEL FREE TO KILL THEM." Kill. That was a word she was most familiar with. Clearly, her owner learned of their actions and was not too pleased. Not only that, but he unleashed the others against them. Others well-versed in combat. Without a weapon, she would have trouble against them.

Turning her sharp gaze over towards her rescuer, she held out her right hand before turning it into a shape as if she was holding something: a handle. With her other arm, she moved it up and down as if to signify a massive part above her hand: the blade. Her owner collected gladiator slaves, so she knew there was an armory of sorts somewhere. If she can get her hands on one of their weapons, she would feel confident about finishing her hunt.

Vinsue was unfazed by the fact that others had heard and put out an alert. She turned and looked at the lady who understood some of the announcement. as she tried to form something in her hand Vinsue nodded. "Weapon" she said taking a second for a teachable moment. 

She looked forward as three men came running at them. two held swords and the other held a crossbow. they stopped a few yards away as the one loaded his bow. Vin quickly started forming an electric ball when she first saw them. She shot it at them. the ball exploded on the one mans chest which sent sparks everywhere. the two that stood on the side were thrown against the wall as the other was thrown backwards. 

She ran to where they laid against the wall and started taking the sheath off the man than took his sword. She turned and handed it to Eden before doing the same to the other man and hooked it around her waist. She than stood and waited for Eden to lead the way.
