All About Eden

Eden lived the life of a slave for as long as she could remember. In fact, one could state that would be her only memory until the night a Dragon Lady broke her free from her shackles, all because she was being taunted by a glass of water. Her mind worked desperately as she chugged it, figuring out what would need to be done to remove such hindrances to this item ever again… Its result lead her to murdering off her owner before escaping through the night into the Laeto Rainforest.

From there, Eden fought to survive, hunting wild prey for meat like a feral beast before one day getting caught bathing by Rizka, who in turn worked to ensure her escape from slave hunters with her brother Justice.

From her slave lifestyle, she was taught that her voice was useless, and with many years thinking so, her vocal cords get heavily strained when trying to speak, thus leaving her self for the most part as a mute. So far, the only things that don't stress the cords as much are her battle cries or groans of pain. She can try to pantomime what she wants to say, but most of the time she struggles with that by itself.

While Eden's weapon can have more significant and intimidating names like the World Crashing or the Devastator, it has more or less donned the nickname of the Metal Log. After all, it is a weapon the length of a bastard sword, however is thick enough to be a club as a solid chunk of casted iron. Its cutting edge is mostly dull, but the weight of the weapon itself can cause it to dig deep greaves into its targets. However, the main drawback to the weapon is its immense weight, being very difficult to carry, let alone wield.

However, her strength does not rely on the weapon itself. Her natural tiger traits also lead her to some additional beastly characteristics. This includes sharp hearing, seeing, and smelling, along with a night vision. However, she can also shift her nails into claws as well, giving a natural weapon to use.

Glow Worm

A type of lumbricina that frequently enjoys dark places and thrives on underground organisms. Glow worms grow in mass in the depths of Revaliir and are frequently cultivated as light sources by subterranean races.

Lacriamium

A silvery blue metal with diamond like properties. It was once strong chains created by the Goddess Angela to hold back the Goddess Dalanesca. Now the metal has all but lost it's magical properties but is still the strongest metal in all of Revaliir.

Cloth tainted by copious amounts of spectral energy, shadow cloth comes from banshees and other, higher wraiths. Few are the people that can acquire it, for the fabric must be extracted from the subject while it is still “alive,” and the process almost never occurs with a willing subject.

Common Trousers

Sometimes called pants, this garment is worn on the lower body, and covers the legs. These trousers are long and extend down to the ankles.

Common Tunic

A simple garment which might resemble a long shirt that stops somewhere between the wearer's hips and ankles. The sleeves may be long or short, depending on the local climate.

Club

A blunt, wooden weapon. Simply made, but still capable of devastating damage if it strikes an opponent in the right place.

Strength

Increases the physical strength of the user for a short time.

Bastard Sword

A sword with a grip long enough to allow for two-handed or one-handed use. This blade is used to cut into enemies.

Kimono

Straight from Ataiyo, kimonos are beautiful garment crafted with love and care. They come in a variety of colors and fabrics. All of the women's come with an obi as well.

Hunter's Instinct

Creates heightened senses needed to be a hunter. I.e. Smell, sight, etc.

Parvpora's Sight

This spell allows the caster the ability to see better in the dark.

Nature's Fist

Causes the bone beneath the flesh to protrude out, causing pain, to give one a natural weapon. Lasts for ten minutes. Causes wounds.

Commune with Beasts

This spell allows the caster to communicate with animals. With great skill, the caster can even convince animals to fight for you; lesser skill sends all animals into a frenzy making them attack even the caster.

Polymorph

This spell allows the caster to take on the form of any animal size of a bear or smaller. Polymorph can also be used to transform individual parts of your body into parts of the described creatures.

Summon Companion

Summons an animal pet or npc companion to one’s side. The pet or npc must be in caster’s inventory. Alternatively, one with permission can summon a pc to their side.

Big Cat

Also known as great cat. They are known for being larger than the normal house cat, however some may be smaller. They have many different types with different colors and patterns and most are known for their roar.

Bear

This large, fierce creature has brown fur and a bad temper. They are typically omnivorous, and can live in a wide variety of habitats.

Elephant

This grand creature has long legs, tusks, and a trunk. Elephants are usually peaceful, but angering one is usually a poor choice. Some can be trained to carry riders in majesty, or to take into battle. While its large ears may resemble wings, an elephant cannot fly.

Wolf

Found dwelling in both the forest and tundras of the world, wolves are versatile pack hunters in the wild, though occasionally tamed by the brave souls who can befriend them.

Classic guardians of knowledge and secrets, the sphinx is known for it’s fair female face, sleek body of a lioness, and wings of an eagle, and love of riddles.. Can Speak & Can Cast.

Fox

This small to medium sized mammal has a bushy tail and, normally, triangle ears. They come in many different colorings and are known for their skittish nature.

Jackal

A well-loved pet among the Harenians, Jackals were often kept as guard dogs and hunting companions.

Predatory Bird

A large, majestic bird-of-prey, these birds are known for being skilled hunters with keen eyesight. These include eagles, hawks, owl and other large birds.

A small animal with wings, capable of flight. Many species of birds are known for their melodious songs.

A small rodent with a fluffy tail and an affinity for hiding nuts. Also very distracting to dogs.

A very slow creature that is known for taking its time. Remember the tortoise beat the hare.

A lovable creature that needs to be sheared. Its wool can be used for a variety of different things.

This large rodent is often considered a pest, but those who keep them as pets say they're friendly, and can be trained.

Rabbit

These small animals have long ears and powerful hind legs. Isn't it cute?

Giant Spider

An enormous arachnid, big enough to be a mount for humanoids.

Giant Crab

Crustaceans that like secluded areas of shallow water, giant crabs possess some of the toughest carapace in Revaliir. They are typically territorial, and their pincers are considered dangerous even to armored men.

Phoenix

A majestic bird, the phoenix is said to burst into flames when it dies, and is then reborn from the ashes. A fiercely loyal companion.

Angler Fish have always been one of the mighty predators of the depths but this species has always tugged on the hearts of all those around it. Instead of a sweet light that attracts you, it is the body of your loved ones you find, alive and dancing ready to be with you until the end (of you).

Ghost Kitten

Long forgotten by its owner, this kitten has wandered the land for years in search of a new owner. This is an event prize for the 2016 Halloween Event: Atop Haunted Hill.

Arriese Rose Hydra

Unlike regular hydras, these hydra live in the tropical landscapes surrounding Arri's capital. They are large and often violent creatures whose heads are surrounded with rose petals. Their legs are like the roots of a flower and overall the creature looks odd.

Pseudo-Wyvern

A small dragon the size of a house cat. Gifted with minor telepathy and a poisonous sting, they can be used as familiars, as pets, scouts or even for the local post system.

A screaming root that typically grows next to graves. Their cries are painful even as infants, and their volume only gets worse with age. The especially ancient ones can cause deafness.

Often considered humankind's best friend, this friendly canine is a loyal companion. Dogs made be trained to assist in hunting, herding, or a variety of other tasks.

This venomous serpent is known for rising up and expanding a hood when threatened.

Giant Bat

This large, flying mammal prefers the darkness. Most have poor eyesight, and instead use sound to navigate.

Seal

An aquatic creature that loves fish, though they are often hunted for their soft pelts.

Hari

Found on Bakulaw Isle, this large Bakulaw creature has a devastating crunch if caught in its jaws. If one would be daring enough to manage to tame one of these large lizards they might find themselves a terrifying but loyal mount of war.

Fairy Dragon

Found on Horae Island, these tiny dragons range in sizes from small frogs to house cats, and come in a variety of colors based on what region of the island they come from. They really like sweet things, like honey and candy.
