”Identity is something to truly hold onto, huh, I couldn't have said that more cliche if I tried.” He chuckled as he took Kiba's hand shook it again at the formal introduction to the young man. Together they walked through the town as Lokir showed Kiba what he and his people were doing for the villagers, and Kiba was impressed by the sound of it.

”Can't cut corners, if I, or rather, we, can't provide what we promise than I am not much of a God, I would think.” Lokir replied expressing his commitment to what he was offering to this, and other, villages and individuals alike. ”I'm happy you like it, Kiba. We have given them what they asked for and laid the way for them to continue on on their own. I'll send an envoy now and then to check on things, undercover more likely, just to keep an eye. But, until they ask for help again, they are on their own… barring some huge catastrophe of course.” Lokir replied.

As he did a man came up to him. ”My Lord, we are just about finished with everything.”

”Excellent. As people finish up their work they can get the mages to open portals back to the Fort and we'll start moving back from the village as we finish up. I'll be the last one out once I speak with the elders once more. Good job, everyone, let them know.” Lokir replied with a broad grin and the man ran off, after the message was passed around a few of the mages that were with Lokir opened gates up and slowly his people started to trickle out.

The God looked back to Kiba again. ”You are welcome to join them on the way to the Fort, Kiba, though if you wish to make your way there in your own time that is understandable as well.” Lokir offered.

The diowolf could not hold back the boyish grin as he followed Lokir around the town to look over the site improvements.  He finally felt like he was becoming apart of something important instead of just wandering about in hopes to do something of worth.  His bi-colored eyes took in the village as well as the workers that were finishing up the last of their improvements.  They had put much of their sweat and effort into completing their tasks.  Each one took their job seriously as they had been instructed by a deity.  It was not often that a god would get themselves involved with the mortal realm.  Kiba was even more impressed that Lokir was even taking a walk around himself.  As he followed the older knight, Kiba glanced at him and smiled.  Even for a deity, he was humble.  It was impressive still as he thought it over.  

He watched as the one worker reported that most of the work had been completed.  Kiba took in the sight of many people that were under the work order as well as protection the deity standing next to him.  It was still an odd concept, but at the same time…the diowolf was somehow becoming acquainted with more of the powerful entities of the land.  He could hardly figure out how he was coming into their presence.  It was humbling.  

The offer that had been extended made him flinch slightly in surprise.  It was quick, and at the same time he was excited. "Yes…ummm that would be fantastic actually.  I am not familiar with the land, so a quick ride would be extremely appreciated to your Fort."  He rubbed the back of his neck like he usually did when he admitted something embarrassing.  Being a creature with great instincts and yet getting lost almost regularly was not exactly a great point to have.  "So…I just follow those guys over there?" he asked while pointing to the portals.  "Well, thank you again sir.  I hope that I won't let you down."
