She smiled a bit and laughed. “Just ask the boy to talk to you Drae. You are Sapphire’s father. You have every right to ask him to sit down and talk to you.” 

They moved on to the conch and she tilted her head. “I don’t know about mermaids but I do know it is pretty. Water folk really aren’t my kind of people. The whole feet off land type thing really bothers me.” She chuckled a bit. “I do love the way they look. There was a couple once that came to me. He carried her with a few others in a glass container. He wanted me to make her have legs.” She smiled a bit. 

“She ate him when she got loose. Siren, not a mermaid. That’s why I am weary of the sea. The endless beauty but… is an instant tragedy. Men shouldn’t take things from the sea but we don’t really learn.” She took more shells up from the water as she waded in. They were all different colors. There were dried sand dollars and other type things she found. “We could bring all of this home.”

They collected a lot of shells and managed to fill an entire basket for each of the girls. Her green eyes went up to the sky and she smiled. “The sun is starting to set. Maybe I should show you the hot springs? They are beautiful especially at night.” She snapped her fingers and the baskets went away to the temple. She took his hands and pulled him in the direction of the hot springs. “You have waited like a good husband.” She teased him with a kiss as soon as the steam from the springs began to waft pass them.

Drae made a face. "Poor sod, that couldn't have been a pleasant way to go," he said with a wince. "I agree, much of what the sea holds should remain in the ocean, but you are always going to have those few that the ocean will call to, merely to explore the unknown," Drae chuckled as he picked up the beach treasures, and kept a careful eye on the surf just in case anything insidious lurked in the crystaline waves. 

The hunt along the beach was a profitable one, and they had a couple wicker baskets full of sea glass, shells, sand dollars, and even a pearl or two. As the sky began to turn orange with the oncoming night, he straightened up and stretched. "Yeah, I think it would be that time," he said with a grin and let her take his hands and pull him along the well walked paths towards the hot springs. Soon, the steam began to roll in thick and the sweet kiss she teased him with excited him. He slipped his arms about her and held her tight, making it a bit difficult to walk, but he let go after a moment. 

"I've waited, and YOU have been incredibly patient too my love," he said as they finally came up to the multiple open pools of water made warm by the vents of the volcano island. He took a deep breath and looked at her before he slowly began to undress and turned to help Angela undress as well. 

"We both deserve this tonight," he breathed as he began kissing her neck and shoulders.

She laughed like a young girl, but more so out of her love for Adraejen. She laughed because he had his arms wrapped around her and it made it hard to walk with a werebear attached to her. Her green eyes were lovingly looking back at Drae despite him being attached. She just wanted to make sure he would be right there with her. 

“You have been exceedingly more patient than I have been. Patient for many different things, though.” She chuckled and undressed with ease. Though her face flushed from the waves she realized for the first time in her adult body that this was technically the first time in this body’s lifetime. The thought made her rapidly nervous about if she had forgotten all the tricks she had learned over the years. She began to count them in her head from positions to just good foreplay and yet he caught her off guard.

She nodded at him and laughed nervously. “Hopefully I haven’t forgotten anything.” She chuckled in good heart now as he kissed her neck and shoulders. Particularly her neck name her to seize up as she let out soft noises. She turned around in his arms and reached up to kiss him softly.  “Let’s go.” She tilted her head so she could direct him with a few head tilts towards the spring. She moved his hands off of her and pulled him with her into the water.

She dove under the water and came back up so she could smooth out her red hair. “I love this.” She stretched her arms and looked back over to him with a smile. “Afraid of all the confusion, body hopping, things of that nature. I might be a little help getting started again.” She blushed as she was frustrated. It was hard to put the things she knew into practice. Maybe it was because of what the Voice had done to her memory. She laughed a bit, “Guess that means you are teaching until my memories come back.”

Drae followed behind Angela and dove into the heated water of the springs and surfaced and blew the water off of his face before he smoothed back his own hair as she had. He swam over to her and slipped his arms around her. 

"I doubt you have forgotten. And if you have, you'll remember soon enough," he reassured her as he massaged her shoulders. "And I am here to help to help you all the way," he promised as he pulled her close to him.  He cradled her face in his hands and pulled her to him and kissed her deeply, lovingly, and passionately. Slowly he caressed her and massaged her, helping her get ready. 

“Well it’s a good thing I have such a good helper.” She chuckled as he rubbed her shoulders and relaxed her. When their lips met it revitalized the feeling in Angela that she had, had for several agonizing weeks now. She wrapped her arms around her husband and kissed him back. It didn’t feel like could get any better than that moment but then again she wasn’t thinking straight. Her mind was as steamy as the area they were present in.

She dropped them into the water and found herself in his lap near the edge of the water. It was like he said if she didn’t remember then she would soon. It all fell into place and the two were content with each other. More than content. In love. It was like when they first found out just how much they could feel towards each other. When Drae became more than a liar and a scoundrel. Maybe she was the only person he was soft with but she didn’t mind as he was hers. 

It had been late at night. Drae and Angela had been having an amazing night as usual. There were sparks here or there but no one had said a word. They dressed as they often did after a night of sex. At any time Iva could come in. Angela laid in bed and Drae laid on his side. It wasn’t that they were ignoring each other it was just that they weren’t completely intimate.

The door opened and Angela peeked her eyes opened to see the red head on her side of the bed. “What is it? Nightmares?” The goddess yawned as Iva gave her a tearful nod. Drae moved for the first time without asking to be.

“She can stay in here Ang,” his voice was soft more so than usual. It was odd to Angela but then again most of this past week had been odd between them. Sparks had led to them avoiding each other-other than at night. It was more a precaution or a worry.

Angela nodded and she pulled the little girl into the bed with them. Drae came over just enough to prop pillows of his own up under her head. Angela paused and just stared at him for a moment. It wasn’t like him to go out of his way at night. During the day yes but… never like this. It was a more intimate movement. Drae’s eyes met Angela’s and there was a child-like movement in them. An infatuation.

“Ang?” Drae asked softly.

“Hmm?” Angela had put her hand on Iva’s belly as the child went back to sleep so she could rub the child’s belly softly. 

“What about us?” It was those dreadful words and in Angela’s eyes there was a bit of fear there. Drae put his hand over hers on Iva’s belly and gently rubbed the goddess’s hand.

“I don’t know to be honest. I’m scared Adraejen.” A goddess scared? It had to have made them both laugh at how silly they were being. 

“You don’t need to be scared Ang at least not alone.” There was love in his words and Angela immediately melted. It took a long moment of silence before Drae chuckled. “I’m trying to tell you I love you Angela.”

Angela blushed a bit and her rubbing motion stopped as she gave a smile. “I love you too Adraejen.” It was a silent conversation after that as they looked after Iva. It was more a surreal moment that both thought was more like a dream.

Angela rubbed her husband’s shoulders as she sat in his lap. Her chest against his as she kissed his lips slowly. “I love you… You know that right?” Well he better damn well know after everything they had gone through. “Forever.”

It was often on his mind as well, the first time he had told her that he loved her. That night had been especially sweet, and he held the memory fondly. He leaned in and kissed her again, this time, trailing kisses down her neck as he pulled her onto his lap tightly. 
"I know, Ang. And I love you too, forever," he promised her. 

He progressed slowly, to help her ease into it. He relished every kiss upon her skin, every caress and touch. He wanted to make this last for her and make it a special night. So far, things were going just right. They'd had a lovely walk, a nice meal, and now there were here. 

"Tell me what you want, Angela," he whispered softly in her ear.

Ang squeaked as her husband pulled her into his lap tightly. “Good, it would be rather dull if you didn’t.” And he wouldn’t have put up with her for this long otherwise. She chuckled a bit as they continued. He helped her the best way he could. She missed his touch and she wanted it indefinitely. 

She leaned into his lips as he whispered into her ear and smiled. “I want everything.” Everything was a valid answer. “I want everything you can give me, show me, or more.” She was selfish like that as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders tighter. She leaned back so he could kiss her down her more. She looked up at the foggy skies.

After Drae had shown her everything that could muster she pulled him into the water fully and kissed him from there. She knew she had to have been wearing his mortal body out. She was gentle as she pulled him up and cuddled close with him. There would be time for her to be tired later. She didn’t want him to kill himself to feed her appetite. 

Her fingers ran through his hair and she found the gray hairs on his head. “I promised not to do that to you anymore.” Her fingers massaged his head and his aging began to go back to the way she had found him. She didn’t want to be reminded of his age or that he was mortal. She left a few grays simply because she thought it did look good on him. “How do you feel? More energy?”

There was an inherent difficulty in a mortal trying to please the Goddess of Fertility; the lack of stamina. He knew Angela could have kept going, and could have kept going for a couple more days, but alas he could not. He relaxed back into the water, physically spent, and heaved a great sigh as Angela cuddled with him. He smiled, enjoying the feeling of her long delicate fingers in his hair as she massaged his scalp, his hands resting on her hips. He chuckled softly when she promised to not contribute to his gray hair or rapidish aging. 

"Don't make promises you won't be able to keep, Love," he said lovingly. "I'm sure that the future will hold just as many surprises as what we faced these last weeks," he pointed out. "Though, heavens forbid, you end up in an all out war with another goddess again," he said with a grin. He felt her power pour through his head, warming him on the inside the way the water of the springs warmed him on the outside. The dark circles under his eyes faded, and his increasing worry-lines sank back into his skin, and many of the graying hairs on his head were rejuvenated back to their raven color once more. He felt more invigorated now, though still fatigued from their play. He sighed in relief, as if a massive tension had been released from his body. 

"Much better, my love. Thank you," he smiled serenely up at her. "I probably look as good as I feel now," he grinned. He kissed her gently. 

“Ohh?” She smiled at him and laughed. “I’ll still try not to my love. You are my last love I ever want to have. I don’t want you to die because I stress you out.” She laughed a bit more at the thought. “I won’t end up in an all-out war with another god for some time now. I won’t say never but I will say for a time.” She took time to massage him greatly while reversing his aging. He looked much better and probably felt a ton more rejuvenated. 

“You are welcome. What’s the point in being a god of life if I can’t make a body healthy again.” She kissed where his lines were and where his bags had been. He looked so much more healthy now in this state. “You do.” She chuckled a bit. “It’s like looking at a baby.” She caressed his shoulders. “I love you…” she said it again as if he would disappear when she blinked.

“What did you think of my little suggestion for a little sister for Rohan?” She was curious on his actual thoughts on it. “I think you want to wait a bit for Rohan to be older but I was never the person to stop having children.” This much was true.

"I am grateful for your effort," he laughed, "both in keeping me young, and avoiding godly wars." He sighed happily as she kissed the places where his lines and wrinkles had vanished. He laughed when she described him looking as a baby. "I hope you didn't age me THAT much. I don't know what we would do if I reverted to childhood, " he mused. 

"I love you too, Angela," he replied as he kissed her forehead, and then pressed his to hers. 

"You aren't wrong," he admitted. "It would be healthy for him to be a little bit older before we give him another sibling, but I would never expect you to stop adding to our family. It would contradict who you are," he smiled. "But lets give him a chance to have all our attention and be a little bit older before we try again. I understand if the Voice and the Tree, or what have you, have other ideas then we don't get a whole lot of say," he smiled. "And if it happens by accident, then I won't argue. But for now, no planned pregnancies. After all, Rohan just got you back. Hell, I just got you back. And Iva has barely had any time to adjust to not being the youngest," he pointed out.
