Maisha Maua Main Description

A swirling mass of clouds right in the middle of Sua Bay holds one of the wonders of Onnen high above the mainland. The Maisha Maua Isles span a great distance even almost touching the base of the Makua Mountains bordering the savanna. Someone has gone out of their way to build an airship dock, it looks relatively new unlike the rest of the island’s creations. Perhaps it was someone from the Moon Sisters that wished to make it accessible to all who came near or mayhaps it was a citizen of Onnen who wished to share it with the those who sail the flying ships.

The Chroma Isles are filled to the brim with flowers for as far as the eyes can see. Every flower that could ever be found in Revaliir is located here on the grounds of Maisha Maua. The flowers appear to grow in order of their color creating a gradient across the isles. All of the flowers found here also appear to give off a dim glow due to the enchantment on the land. The enchantment appears to fade after the flower has been picked linking it to the soil of the islands.

Babbling brooks are found all throughout the islands feeding water to the flowers. The small water sources found on these islands reflect rainbows easily and one could mistaken the water itself for being rainbow though it appears like oil on the water’s surface. Without a keen eye that little detail is often missed. There are small ponds throughout the rainbow lands but they are more of an attraction than the flowers themselves.

There are buildings, statues, and lampposts that appear to dot the land but no one occupies the ancient buildings. Nature has reclaimed them and offers a view into the future of the Kanurian city beneath it. The flowers and other plants that reclaim the buildings and such appear to mock the colors of the surfaces they grow on within their petals. The glow the flowers give off on these creations often mock the color of the patch they are in strangely enough.

It is almost always quiet here in Maisha Maua with the exception of small groups of visitors, nature, and the breeze.

On the largest of the Chroma Isles are a series of large hot springs that are rich in color as much as the flowers that bloom around them. The steam from the water bounces rainbows all about almost like bridges from one hot spring to the next. Small gem like fish inhabit these hot waters and feed off the dead skin of visitors along with natural moss that grows near the ponds. This is noted as one of the best natural spas in all of Onnen and many try to make the long trip to Maisha Maua just to try them out.

The flowers around this part of Maisha Maua are much larger than that of the flowers not near the hot springs. Their petals are the size of an average human’s hand and their dim glow is much more like a small candle compared to their smaller siblings. The minerals and other natural benefits from the hot spring water appear to be the reason why these plants do so well.
