Even if Silanus had a circle with green fire surrounding him, he started to laugh; he would've even clap if he wouldn't be holding his pierced shield and his sword. Silanus said in his laughter: "Well then, Silanus can see you have not even started your ohoh, your so called training session." Silanus did a simple, yet useful movement to release himself from the mystic circle… He crouched and just walked below it. What an amazing luck he had! If the flaming circle would not be that thin, he could get burned alive…

Once released, Silanus said: "Oh, another stinky, magical arrow would surely kill Silanus… Top bad you did a pathetic green fire non sense, bahahah" Silanus was tired of dodging, blocking or getting hit by Chae's attacks… It was time he started fighting in a more offensive way… Silanus raised his shield and ran as fast as he could, ready to bash the lich with it and then stab her with his gladius sword…

As Silanus got closer and closer to Chae, he thought of an even greater idea, after hitting her with the shield, he would slash her legs… "Let's see how she stands without a leg!' thought the swordman.

((I'm so sorry for making you wait. :( ))

She did not even have the chance to dispel her flames by the time Silanus's sword came down on her fragile form. She screamed, a frantic and guttural noise which was made of as much pain as frustration. One leg was cleaved immediately, the other cut to the bone but hanging by a strip of rotten flesh to her thigh. In response she unleashed a dome of energy, a force push that probably did not hurt the soldier but hopefully shoved him away from her.

Groaning, Chae turned over onto her elbows, instinctively doing everything she could to remove herself from the fight which she was quickly loosing. Her long skirts were hewn too, of course, dragged through the sticky blood as she crawled away over jagged rocks and bits of paper. When she finally realized that it was no use, she looked over her shoulder back to Silanus. The sickly green fire had caught on the grasses and was spreading with abandon, crackling like laughter and spitting arcane embers.

She could have fled, could have opened up a gate and saved herself. But she didn't want to.

Chae mumbled something beneath her breath, and from her shriveled lips sparked a new magic. A few moments later, she watched as a skeletal hand burst from the soul just behind Silanus, followed by an arm and a head and a ribcage. Forever ago, some poor bloke had climbed to the top of this mountain and died there, and now his bones would serve the little necromancer. The zombie jumped at the human and clawed at his skin and clothes, tugging him down to the ground.

And slowly the crippled halfling turned around, elbows pulling her toward the only living creature higher than the tree line. If Chae could only get close enough to him, she could suck the life right out–and heal herself in the process.

The skeletal zombie jumped and tackled Silanus´back, the hit was extremely unexpected, just because he was focused on Chae. The skeleton tried to bite Tacitus Silanus´shoulder, but thanks to his armor, the zombie´s attemps to hurt him were useless. Now, the madman had not a lich as a foe, but also a skeleton. The heavily armored man was unwary of Chae´s intention of draining his life; with a quick movement, Silanus hit the skeleton´s ribs with his elbow, then grabbed it´s right arm and pulled it with all his streght, removing the thrall´s whole arm.

Now, that the skeleton had only one arm, it was obviously a way less dangerous threat, but still Silanus could not allow it to be at his rear, however, if he dealt with it Chae could approach him and have the advantage. So, Silanus did what seemed to be a wise movement… He threw the zombie´s arm to the lich, hoping to atleast slow her down… Silanus striked deliberately the thrall with his shield, then slashed his head off. It seemed that now the zombie would be lifeless once again…

However, why would a zombie need it´s skull? Silanus lowered his defence and was ready to attack Chae, but the skeleton violently scrapped his foe´s left cheek with his sharp, skinless fingers. Some blood spilled around, if the skeleton would have scratched him a little closer to the eye, he could have been blinded. It was lucky for him that the lich´s thrall did not…

The skeleton tried to attack Silanus again, but Silanus spinned quickly and with his gladius sword slashed the skeleton´s remaining arm, then cut through it´s body, leaving the zombie on the ground, unable to do anything. Silanus then turned back and looked at Chae, he raised his shield and constantly hit it with his sword, trying to provocate Chae. Then he shouted: "Don´t you have a little respect for the dead, you monster!? That poor sod could have been a hero, yet you force me to destroy what remains of his honour! In the name of that fallen soul, Silanus shall SPIT on your lifeless corpse, you barbaric creature!"

Although he was a foolish man who did not appreciate the value of literature and although he was doing everything in his power to destroy her, Chae could not help but admire Silanus’s fighting prowess. He slaughtered the risen corpse with certain prowess and contained a perseverance that would surely last beyond the grave. His corpse would be a worthy minion.

He had forgotten the arm which he had thrown at Chae; while it did slow her for a few seconds, effectively slapping her in the face with a pile of hard bones, ultimately it was the last remaining weapon from her raised undead. Thrusting her hand forward, she willed the severed arm up toward Silanus’s throat and commanded its fingers to wrap around his neck. Hopefully that would buy her enough time to heal herself and perhaps regain her leg.

She grabbed his foot and scrambled for a piece of bare flesh around his ankle. If she could reach her tiny halfling fingers beneath his armor, she would drain him of his life’s vitality and restore some of her own—at a cost to his everlasting soul.

“If you had respect for death, you would let me kill you,” she replied with a smile, though perhaps she was the only one on this mountaintop who thought it was funny.

How un-expected, the last menacing thing on the whole mountain attacked him! A hand? A hand of a skeleton he had JUST destroyed!? Who in this damned place would think a fleshless hand would strangle him?? Atleast not Silanus, the warrior would have expected his enemy to cast a spell or something, NOT a HAND!

It would be an extremely easy blow, the hostile lich was trying to grab Silanus' foot, but why? For the swordman, Chae's intentions were unclear… An easy, swift movement and the lich would have her body cut in half, however, who could focus with a skinless arm in one's neck? If he was to attack Chae, the hand had to dissapear…

As the struggle continued, Silanus heard Chae say something, what she said was simply NON SENSE! It angered Silanus even more, so, his blind rage led him to an unsafe movement… Silanus slashed the remaining hand, tearing it's knuckles and making the fingers fall off his neck.

At this moment, Silanus understood the objective of the lich, she was probably searching to touch his skin, since he was wearing leather boots and ankle plate armor, she had to raise her hand a little, or just cut the leather strings that his ankle protectors had. Those are the cons of wearing a skirt instead of leggins…

Silanus lifted his sword, ready to thrust it against Chae, bit first a small grin appeared in his face, and he said: "The damn lack of logic in your speech is impressive! Silanus often offers a reward for annoying spellcasters like you…. The edge of his gladius, ha ha!"
