"Nice work on the abra, kadabra," Douken said, giving her a nod to her catch while she still held onto the air of confidence all her swift shots of bolts took care of. However, things had quickly shifted from what things were like before. With the first kill, they were all none the wiser. The second and third gave their sense of presence and threat, and finally, the forth brought forth panic. They were in the presence of hunters, after all. Their lives were on the line, and thus began to try and run away.
Lining himself up with the last two hares, he saw them begin their scurry away. "Sorry, rabbits, but your meat is mine," he said, his index and middle fingers starting to crackle with magic before being moved to the fan. Once they connected, sparks flew as if he was welding on the metal, leaving a flipped C from his hand movement downward before pushed back up to the center. Separating his fingers, he worked on closing them while bringing back down, though not connecting, but instead another shot right back up. Breaking his connection with the surface, the rune he drew began to dissipate as the fan began to glow.
"Cover your eyes!" he declared before tossing the fan out at the hares, the fan flashing bright , as if opening the window to a bright day magnified threefold, enough to freeze the hairs in place. Using this moment, Douken darted back forward, grabbing his spear once again before approaching the dazed rabbits, taking their lives swiftly with the spear before they could recover from their daze.
Taking the few steps forward, Douken soon retrieved his fan and relocated it back into its holster before returning to collect the hares he had taken care of before heading back to Amra and the farmer. "I think that takes care of your hare issue…"
