Her human tears fell down her face. They weren’t tears of sadness, but of hope. Hope that this could work. Angelique melted into Reavers arms and didn’t want to leave them. His arms automatically wrapped around her. It had been so long since he had held her in this way. So long since she had kissed his lips. His words of love filled her heart and she kissed him passionately. Her arms circled around his neck and their lips continued to connect. She didn’t want to stop kissing him.

Angelique's fingers made their way into his hair. Her lips removed from his to only look him in the eyes for a moment. She missed how he tasted. Kissing him again and again. Her hands soon found their way onto the the opening of his coat and pushed it off his shoulders. Her lips removed from his to kiss up his jaw to his ear. Biting his ear softly, she made his way back to his lips. Her hands made their way under his shirt and lifted it up over his head. She wanted him so much and he could probably smell it with his vampire senses.

It wasn’t long before they were on the bed and connected. She had forgotten she was a virgin again and human. The moment of pain didn’t last long. Her arms circled around his back to run her nails down his bare skin. Their moans filled the room until they were finished. They stayed in eachothers arms for what seemed like forever. Her eyes slowly closed and darkness took her.

Awaking, she smiled down at him as she sat up. “Going to clean up.” She kissed him lightly on the lips before moving into the washroom. Dropping the sheet onto the ground, she looked at herself in the mirror. She couldn’t stop smiling. She was so happy and it was new to smile in this way. Washing herself off, she cleared her salty tears off her face then dressed in her usual attire.

Angelique’s happy moment ended when a man appeared behind her. He was cloaked and didn’t speak. Before she let out a scream his arms circled her, she struggled. Her mouth came loose of the hand and she bit down as hard as she could. “REAVER!!!!” She managed to scream out before the man jumped out the window with her in his arms. The crashing noise echoed into the room and the pieces of wood fell to the ground.

In an instant, she was gone.

This was a moment he wanted to remain in forever. Reaver didn’t want to deal with the outside world at all, none of it mattered to him. All that mattered to him was standing in his arms now. It had been said that the things most worthwhile weren’t obtained easily. Angelique and him had been through hell and back countless times to get where they were at now. He held her tightly as though if he hadn’t then she would somehow slip away from him again. The kiss he gave her didn’t end as she led the charge now and drew upon him with a burning fire within her. His hands slid down to her hips as he matched her intensity. Surely if anyone came into the room and ruined the scene, he would have killed them without a second thought. Whenever their lips were pried from one another, he sought to kiss around her neck tenderly, tasting her skin and a few tears that managed to rolled down her before being pulled back to her lips. Pure ecstasy filled his mind as his grip grew tighter around her, eyes dilated met with hers as they stared at one another before the passionate scene resumed. The last time they were like this was when they were trapped in that haunted mansion sometime ago. They had much catching up to do, and little time was wasted before their lips locked again and he let Angelique have her way with his coat. One hand moved to the small of her back and pressed her up against him move, engulfed in her scent and tasted the side of her neck again. He gave a soft groan at her playing with his ear, it was driving him crazy with lust for her as they kissed. Within moments his shirt came off and he brought up both hands to either side of her face as he pressed his lips against her fiercely. After a bit, he went to work on her working clothes, first with unbuttoning her top and he lowered himself down to kiss the exposed skin and curves from it. Reaver kept her standing there with some of his strength as his mouth and tongue fanned the fire before they moved to the bed and the remainder of their clothes were finally stripped.

He too had forgotten that with her humanity back, she was pure once more and he tried his best to be gentle with her. The struggle between that and his want for her ended with his loving side prevailing and he nipping and kissing down her neck as he felt her nails in his back. The silence from earlier was broken and anyone dumb enough to trespass now would surely get death. The moment didn’t last too long but it was satisfying to say the least. They cuddled up against one another and he kissed the top of her head as he felt her relaxed on top of him. Sleep wasn’t a necessity but he succumbed to it once he was sure that Angelique was resting.

The sleep was light and didn’t take much as one eye opened to respond to her. “Alright.” He smiled at her before they kissed. She went off to clean up herself and he remained in the bed, unaware of what was to come next. Had he known, he would have never let her leave his sights. All he could recall was that he heard her scream and the window to the washroom shattering before he leaped from the bed and dashed inside to see her gone. “Angelique!” Throwing his pants back on, he frantically left the tavern, uncaring for anyone’s opinion as he raced around looking for any sign of her.

“Angelique! Angelique!”

With each scream, his resolve, his hope to hide her was dying before he could feel the rage inside him. He would find her and he would kill the people responsible for it.
