It was a rather calm and sunny afternoon when Raile found himself at the entrance of the Terrowin Estate. It was unusual for him to visit at this hour, as normally he was on and about business involving Taevalinn and the comings and goings of merchants and travelers alike.

When Rhenakos had last visited, he was nothing but talk about the little terrors that were Janus and Lila. Despite the chaotic mess that the two caused, it seemed like the estate was still being well kept, and that brought a smile to Raile. The Terrowin family had been a huge investment, and somehow, despite the odds, it had paid off in a way that he never could have imagined. With the vast fortune they invested, Raile was able to create his own city, and with it, the profits had skyrocketed, multiplying by numbers that Raile used to only dream of.

He cleared his throat, and stepped forward, knocking hard on the door. As usual, the door opened rather quickly. The house help was always available and ready to take any of the random visitors that could drop by.

“Ah, Master Raile, this is a surprise,” the gentleman at the door said with a delighted smile. “Shall I gather the heads of the household for you?”

“That would be fantastic,” Raile replied as he clapped his hands together. “Would you inform them that I have a proposition for them? A side job, of sorts. Well…it’s more for Simone, than anyone.”

“As you wish,” the gentleman replied, opening the door. “They shall met you in the Great Room, if you don’t mind showing yourself.”

“Not at all.” Raile walked in, and looked around. To his light surprise, there were toys scattered about the foyer that he had to dodge around. The Great Room was also a bit of a mess, with more toys scattered across the floor. “Well, well…it seems even Lewis and Simone are struggling…”

“PLAY!” Lila yelled up at Simone and Lewis.

“Bed,” they said together. They were stern and Lila made a face.

“FINE. Soon?”

“Yes,” they answered as one. This was one of the few ways they were finding Lila would listen to them. When they were together as a force.

It was exhausting as they came out of the door they held hands and looked at the house help, “Master Raile is in the great room waiting for you.”

Simone looked at Lewis and shrugged before making their way down to him. “Hello, Raile! I hope you don’t mind the mess… The twins have been on the loose a lot more lately. They love playing everywhere and anywhere… Especially if there’s only one of us here.” Simone sounded exhausted.

The house help brought them some tea and she was sipping on it, “How can we help you today?”

Raile was amused at the situation. He could tell that both Simone and Lewis were exhausted, and that even with the minor vacation that they had gotten, that it was barely enough to keep them going. Supposedly, there were actions being taken in order to lessen the staring, but as with everything, that method would take time and effort. In the meantime…

“I have a little proposition for you two. Mostly, Simone, but I’m sure you can benefit in some way.” He cleared his throat, and pulled out a few documents, passing them to Lewis and Simone. “This here is a little…ahem, business venture I came up with. Vela helped coin it…”

Lewis took a hold of the documents, and started to read them off. “Heaven, the Angel Cabaret?” It was a rather large building, and the layout and floor plan seemed spacious enough. There was a bar, and a stage as well. “A cabaret club with exclusively angels?” He passed the papers back, and shrugged. “What does this have to do with Simone?”

“Well, she’s not exactly an angel, but she does have wings. Osiria already agreed to help out as well, though the way her personality is…well, I’d rather her stick to behind the bar. You, however, can charm the socks off of someone when you try. I would like you to come work on the weekends. Or…whatever suits you, really. Whatever role you want.”

“No,” Lewis replied immediately.

“Now, now…you haven’t heard the details.”

“What details. She already has enough people after her and-”

“She’s not allowed to be touched. No one is. Well…not unless they want to be, but that’s not a service the club itself offers.” Raile cleared his throat. “We have plenty of muscle…and besides, I’m sure Simone can literally melt anyone who touches her…” He smirked. “Anyone who tries will be thrown out. It’s a promise.”

Lewis took a deep breath. “…I guess it’s ultimately Simone’s choice. But what about the kids?”

“Glad you asked,” Raile replied with a smirk. “Leilah has offered to help when you work. She can handle it…”

Simone looked over everything and she had in her hands the rules, “I don’t know…” She was looking it over in depth. “Says here they can’t touch us girls.” She looked up at Raile, “That’s to keep us safe but more so that Vela doesn’t beat anyone’s ass right?”

Raile rolled his shoulders in a shrug, “A little here, a little there.”

Simone looked up at Lewis, “If anything a few hours together away from the kids might be nice. Who knows…” She rubbed his hands and thought about it, “I can melt anyone you know and the outfits might be cute… What kind of outfits are we talking?”

Raile smirked at Simone’s question, and pulled out some more documents. Once more, he passed them to the couple, and waited for their reactions. It was Lewis first who took a sharp breath, and Simone smirked and gave him a sly look.

“This wouldn’t last a night here,” Simone said with a mischievous smile.

“Oh don’t worry about that…I can spare a few for your…playtime, or whatever,” Raile said, waving his hand. “And that’s just the starter designs. We have quite a few more being worked on. Have a few famous designers working for me, Kite included. He’s excited to have his work on display. Here,” he said as he passed over some more designs.

The designs ranged from cute, show-offy adorable to sexy, barely clothed. It was a wide variety meant to suit the desires of the customers, and most importantly, get the customer to spend more coin. “Of course, you can choose whatever you want to wear. I’m pretty sure even you have limits when it comes to this kind of thing, Simone…”

Simone’s smirk lasted as she looked over the outfits, “Will Rhenakos show up? I bet his horny ass will… so I’ll wear more clothes than Vela.”

“Oh, that shouldn’t be hard,” the merchant said with a smirk, “she would go naked if I let her.”

Simone did an ahh reaction as she didn’t know Vela that much, “I guess being as old as she is that she isn’t as shy. Will be amusing to watch Drake’s reaction to all of this.”

“Oh, you’ll have front row seats since he’s one of the bouncers… Matter of fact to sweeten the deal… Why don’t you become one of my bouncers?” The merchant was trying to make Lewis feel better.

“I think that would be a good idea now that the farm is going on its own.” Simone took his hand and she smirked. “And we get new outfits for my playtime? Are those fishnets?” She looked at the designs. She knew that would catch Lewis’s attention. He did like fishnet.

Lewis glanced between a few of the outfits, and let out a hard sigh. “I guess we can see how it goes. And if I take the bouncer position…well…I can’t make promises that I won’t accidentally kill someone if they touch Simone.”

“I’m sure you can hold back,” Raile replied confidently. “You need more friends…both of you. This should get you some opportunities to go out and meet people. You both would get along quite well with Vela and Drake. The other girls are wild too. It’s all fun and games for them, even while they’re working. Angels are the BIGGEST teases.” He smirked as he took the papers back from Lewis. “Well? The club opens this weekend! Vela is the star of the show, but I’d love for you two to be there at the opening as well!”

The ex-assassin took another deep breath. “I…guess we can try it…if Simone wants to.” He glanced at her. “But only on the weekends. We can’t do weekdays.”

Simone nodded, “We can try… Maybe it will be fun.” They needed more fun lately. She pet his face and gave him a kiss. “He is right though. We could do to use more friends Lew.” She only called him Lew when it was serious and maybe it was the first time that Raile had ever heard her do it.

Cut to the first day and Simone was nervous. “Here, let me help,” Vela was in the back room and she was helping Simone with her wings.

“Sorry, normally Lewis helps me get rid of the molting feathers,” Simone smiled up at Vela and Vela nodded.

“You are going to kill it. Try not to be so nervous.”

“I’m more worried about getting touched and my husband stabbing someone.”

“He’s going to be fine… Drake is with him and Drake is super level-headed.” Simone’s hair was now in an elegant updo with sparkling gems and flowers in it. She wore a revealing white dress with fringe down one side and a bikini-like design on the other. It was gem-studded. She looked elegant with her black and blue wings.

Vela on the other hand was in a one-of-a-kind lace bikini with a long skirt off the back. Her long white hair was pulled back in braids. “You ready Simone?” Vela finished Simone up with all kinds of necklaces, bracelets, and other accessories. Simone felt more like a doll.

“Welcome to Heaven!” Vela went out and announced everything to the world. “Meet our girls! Our lovely Osiria is manning the bar!” Osiria waved from the bar in a short little red dress that wasn’t quite as revealing as the actual angels.

Simone made her way out to entertain and her eyes locked with Lewis’s

It was quite the scene as the women marched across the stage. There were cheers as each of them walked out, but Simone seemed to get the loudest cheer once she stepped into the spotlight. Her dark coloured wings were in stark contrast to the rest of the women, and that earned a few whistles as well. To no one’s surprise, though, Simone was almost immediately upstaged when Vela came across the stage, practically strutting for the whole audience. She had no shame, and no desire to hide herself, and instead flaunted everything she had.

Lewis was, by all means, absolutely enamoured with the way Simone was dressed. Her outfit was unique, and while it was revealing, seemed to show off the best aspects of Simone. It took a lot of willpower for him not to immediately assassinate half the room, but the look she gave calmed him almost immediately.

Remember…they all they get is a look. What you get, is everything. Lewis flashed a smirk at her, and the two nodded at each other.

Rhenakos was practically drooling when Simone walked across, but when Vela came, both Drake and Rhenakos stepped away from the doorways to get a better look, the two practically falling over each other for the angel. Vela winked at the two, and blew a kiss to Drake.

Raile sighed, coming up behind the two. “Back to work, boys,” he said as he dragged the two away from the stage.

The night went about as expected with each angel earning their fair share of attention. Though they were outclassed by Vela altogether. The angel was fearless when it came to that. Simone though knew how to strike a conversation and hold it. There was a certain way she held herself as she helped get the patrons what they wanted. If one of the men tried to go too far one of the bouncers would help.

One such man wasn’t so lucky when he decided to touch Osiria of all people. “The rules are no touching,” Osiria launched the man at her husband and went back to mixing cocktails and other drinks. Raile had Osiria learn from others how to mix drinks for people and get the right techniques and she picked it up pretty fast.

When the night was over and everything was being cleaned up Osiria poured everyone a few drinks. “Here you go, boys. You look like you need it Lewis… Thought that one guy who almost touched Simone was going to be murdered.”

Simone had her own cocktail as she came over and sat down on Lewis’s lap. “I guess I did have a bit of fun.”

“IT HAS ONLY BEGUN! Tomorrow and the day after are all going to be fun!” Vela jumped up and wrapped herself around Drake. “It will bring in so much silver! SAY BOSSMAN, how much did we earn? Did we do it?”
