It wasn’t often that he would step onto the mainland, much less travel all the way to Canelux but being cramped up inside was starting to unravel the vaewolf greatly. It felt as though he was trapped and couldn’t breath until this eve where he shed his clothing and his feet felt the comfort of grass beneath them. His toes curled against the ground and a smile fell upon his face as he basked in the moonlight. Before long, the image of a man disappeared and in place, stood a large white wolf whose eyes were the color of blood. Beautiful yet deadly, the lupine let out a howl that could be heard for miles around before he had been to trot. And from trotting came running through the woods with unnatural grace.

He would be unburdened right now, even if it was just for a little while. His mind wouldn’t be trapped in the mundane, day to day activities he often found himself- overseeing prayers, tending to business affairs and or his godly duties. Instead, he would roam freely and hunt. Speaking of which, he halted once his ears picked up some movement nearby and he softly prowled over towards the bushes and peeked to a doe by a stream, having her fill of water.

The wolf arched his body low and waited for perfect timing as he watched until the doe had finished before he charged through the thicket and right at her. His prey caught on quickly and turned to flee and he gave chase. The two weaved through the forest, two hearts racing for different reasons. One was for the sake of their life and the other for the thrill of the kill. Before too long, their little game was over the moment he caught up and his maw gripped around her throat and crushed it. Their bodies fell from the speed yet he continued to hang onto her. Another howl slipped out as he claimed his kill and then he started to feast without interruption.

Character Info
Name: Attie

Alignment: CN
Race: Human (Dead)
Gender: Female
Class: Wanderer/Scholar
Silver: 0
The world was a fascinating place! Although she had been raised in the Virens forest, every part of it still amazed her. The animals, the plants, the rivers, and even the stones had something about them that was interesting. Rivers carried water and provided for every creature. Plants grew and fell over time. The animals were constantly in a battle for survival. And the stones had been through it all and remained as sturdy as ever. Attie was busily sitting in a tree and watching a wolf jumping towards its kill. Her branch was high enough that she didn't feel the need to be concerned by the wolf. But it was low enough so that she could see what was going on. There was a journal in her hand and she was sketching the wolf as it began to eat its kill. Her sketching abilities had improved over the years and had become impressive. She kept adding little details like where the sun was coming from or the amount of blood dripping from the wolf's jaws.

"You know, not a lot of people see worth in wolves."
She said to the wolf as though it could understand her, "But without you guys there would be too many grass eaters. Its funny. In a way, you guys protect the plants by eating the prey. Isn't that strange? Its too bad you can't understand me. Debates are more fun when both sides can talk. Oh well."

After finishing her sketch, she held it upwards to get a better look at it. Seemingly proud of her work, she closed the journal and put it back in her bag. When she looked upwards she noticed a beautiful purple butterfly fluttering about and couldn't help but want to reach out towards it. In doing so, she lost her balance and fell face-first to the ground with a loud slam. She sat up and spit out the dirt that had got into her mouth.

"Don't try dirt." She said with a scrunched up face, "Its not as bad as eating a slime but still pretty bad."

Pushing herself to her feet, she just realized that she fell around the area of a wolf. A wolf that she had just boldly, or stupidly, revealed herself to. But then she remembered that it just ate. And then she remembered that typically didn't keep most predators from not attacking. Picking her backpack up she decided to wait around to see if it would attack or not. Sure, she could die, but she might be able to learn something more about the behaviors about wolves.

"By the way, I don't taste that good either. But if you do wanna kill me, I get it you know?" She said with a small joking smile.

It seemed that she rarely took things seriously.
