Lucian Rose

Character Info
Name: Lucian Rose
Age: 23
Alignment: LG
Race: Rosenite
Gender: Male
Class: Red Court Lord
Silver: 274
Now for plenty of reasons, Blaine didn’t bother to insert himself into the affairs of the Rosenite royal outside of his own family. Toya did lords whatever she desired since she was one of the leaders; fortunately, there were others that had to keep her in check. But what he could look over was their family- his stubborn jackass of a father for one. It was a pity though that watch over and control were two different things. The man smelled like he had started a pre-celebration before coming here, the distinct smell of whiskey beneath his breath. Still, Garland behaved like his charming self for the time being and Angelette was there to divide his attention.

The older wolf tickled the little girl’s chin with a gentle touch. “No sweetie, I wouldn’t forget about you.” No one knew why he took to Angelette the way he did, but the bond between the two couldn’t be denied by anyone. Hell, for as much Garland cared, she was just as much his granddaughter as his own flesh and blood. The two soon to be wed couple had their own reactions towards his words, but it was to be expected. Cole and Nymph were still young and had plenty of years before they had to decide on children. He did let out a sly chuckle before his head darted at Toya. “Aja? Well then, looks like it's time to work that old WIntercrest magic then.” The patriarch wasn’t a quitter, that was for sure. “Gonna go and convince that pretty redhead to be your grandma, Angelette. Wanna come with me?” At least the others didn’t have to worry about him messing up this meeting as he scooped up the little angel into his arms and lead her to look for Aja.

When he did locate her, he flashed her that devilish smile that he was famous for. “Aja, a sight for sore eyes!” They had been doing this very dance for what was years at this point. He would ask to court her, then she would refuse and beat him up, only for the wolf to come back for seconds. “So, when will you accept my offer for a date?”

Meanwhile, Lucian was taking to his role with stride, though it didn’t hurt to have his mother behind him offering support in this. Kikira had far better and longer experience and it showed in the way she carried herself. Considering who his mother was, he had a big pair of shoes to fill. Being in Sularia practically all of his life, he wasn't used to the customs of other lands. Though the exchanging of weapons of the Jiyu Clan wasn’t far fetched considering the type of people they were. Sularia certainly wasn’t one that followed all of the traditions that most cultures did either. Regardless, everything sounded pleasant, the feasts included. Besides, he could spend some time with Episcia before the ceremony was to take place.

Michael

Character Info
Name: Michael
Age: Unknown
Alignment: LG
Race: Archangel
Gender: Male
Class: Guardian Angel
Silver: 1459
Michael could not quite decide what made him feel more out of place; the fact that he didn’t really know anyone, the fact that Uial’s council didn’t like him anyway, or the fact that he was wearing his old armour for the first time in centuries… but given the situation Michael was more than a little aware that he had to make a good impression and look the part of the proper escort for Uial – she was the leader of a clan, she couldn’t have some sort of scruffy oik on her arm.

As he felt Uial’s grip tighten on his arm Michael turned his gaze upon her, head titled slightly to one side as he smiled warmly at her, putting his free hand over hers as he guided her back up the stairs, wings half furled as though to encompass the woman on his arm and keep her to himself… in a way it was, his wings were large enough to muffle most sounds from those behind them as he spoke to her. ”You’re doing brilliantly; head high, meet their gaze and do not worry about stumbling for you shall not falter so long as I am by your side.” He offered her gently, winking as he helped her up the stairs as etiquette dictated he should.

Leading Uial to her throne Michael had bowed to her before taking his place on her right, hands clasped behind his back beneath his cloak. He certainly looked the part. Michael heard the tongue clicking from the elder and shot a glance in their direction. Colossal wings flicked out from their furled position with a snap – the sound echoing in the hall as a warning to them to hold their tongues from any further clicking or sounds of disapproval; he did not tolerate disrespect and he would certainly not tolerate it when that disrespect was aimed at Uial. Furling his wings against his back once more he acted as though it had never happened, though his gaze remained on the offending elder.

As Uial turned her attention to himself Michael nodded to confirm her words, smiling softly to her to show that she was doing well and that he was here if she needed him. Part of him wanted to take her hand but he knew that could be misconstrued as weakness on her part and he had no intention of showing her up or allowing her War Council to find further fault with her gender…
