She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Of course, men listen and belief any rumor they hear. And they never try to find the truth." She glared at him, but kept attention to the other soldiers. Now that she had been around this area a bit longer, she knew she couldn't trust them at all.  "Otherwise, what you hear isn't true." She didn't say much, keeping some sparks of her personality hidden from these soldiers. But she had to admit, the constant anger she felt took her attention away from her shoulder.

She briefly winced as he pushed her and spun to face him again. "Should I really be afraid of only a few men? There are worse things, such as that troll we just faced." She briefly glanced at the orc as well. "Honestly, it is way too risky to be with an orc, they are unpredictable creatures." She looked back towards the leader of the group. "That one was no issue.  And its not a major wound, just something minor." She had a hand ready back on her bow suspiciously. "Why should I tell you? I don't even know your name!" She briefly turned away from him before coming up with an idea.  "I will tell you my name if you tell me yours."

The orc had enough. Upon hearing her speak badly of his race, he ran towards the elf after letting out a loud roar. However, before reaching her, Silanus blocked his way just with his arm. Even if he was angered and doubled the size of his commander, the orc stopped. He respected and even feared Silanus.

"Enough. What is the meaning of this barbarian act? Insults? She insulted me too, and you don't see me splashing spit on everyone and yelling like a savage!" The orc was offended once again, this time by Silanus. However, this time he said nothing, but simply sighted instead. Silanus' other underlings came and gently pulled their orc companion away. Now that the raging orc had calmed down so quickly, Silanus turned his attention back to the elf. "Well… I wouldn't call an unpredictable creature unpredictable in your place. They tend to be quite hostile when offended… I expect you to know that, huh?" Silanus'  displeased face soon turned into a neutral one.

"You want my name? Just a while ago you said you didn't want anything to do with me, hah..!" He said once again to her. "I am Tacitus Silanus, supreme leader of the Fratian clan! No need to bow or kneel, not now atleast! We are quite away from our home in the Steppes, so I expect you don't know me or my people. Just be assured that if you see someone with such fancy, elegant gear like us, he's probably my henchman." It was obvious that Silanus was way too proue when he spoke about himself. Once again, he was hiding one of his arms beneath his large cloak. He was also walking around when speaking. "I presume you have no title behind your name, so simply tell me who you are. I'm great at many things, one of them is listening..!'

"Some men by ancestry are only the shadow of a mighty name."

Noticing the rise in the orc, she stiffened, ready to either run or reach for her bow. She was still alert when the orc was scolded and backed away. Regardless of their words, she was careful, a lesson she picked up from journeys and job picked up for others in exchange for silver. She glanced back at the leader again, untrusting of him or ready to reply sharply if he mocked her anymore.

She looked back at him as he talked to her again. "I can understand that easily. After all, a person travels often and they understand how to survive and get around." She crossed her arms and brushed her hair away from her face. She took a step back from him and leaned against a nearby tree, careful to rest her sore shoulder. She desperately wanted to look over and started treating the wound, but she still didn't want to take her attention away from him. Probably best. Another reason why, she wanted to remain her image of appearing strong, acting like it never bothered her and a habit she got used to.

"I don't want anything to do with you, but I still want to know who I'm seeing and who I am dealing with." She replied, looking back at him. She couldn't help but roll her eyes with a small sigh when she heard his titles. "Definitely full of himself." She thought to herself. She waited until his finished and replied back, "Of course I don't have titles. Unless you come from an upper class, few of my kind have such complex titles. "'I'm Leodrisa."

Silanus would have enjoyed to mock the elf once again, however he could see that, even if she didn't want to admit it, her wound bothered her, atleast. "Pityful" he thought. Only the stubborn and most arrogant hide their needs, nevertheless, Silanus was both of those things so he couldn't blame her. The general could not help but grin when he saw the elf leaning in a nearby tree; it was definitely a sign of either exhaustion or pain, or perhaps both?

It was obvious that the elf was not from the upper class, just seeing her aspect made it clear. "I've seen plenty of plebeians with fancy titles. Jon Iron Arm, Thederisa the Lioness, Bill the Hunter… One never knows what nickname the commoners might give to themselves!" He said as he raised his brows, with a mocking expression, making emphasis on the words commoner and plebeian just to tease and provoke her. Leodrisa was a pretty name, thought the general. "I'll call you Leodrisa the Crippled… It fits with your physical state, hahah! …Nah, not even you deserve such nickname… I think!"

After he finished annoying the elf on purpose, Silanus hid his hand inside his gear, as if he would take something out. A weapon? A tool? Not really. Simply a crimson botte, containing a strange elixir. "To be honest you're the only person who has made me laugh today. I think the rumors are right, elves are quite funny, hah! I'll… Donate this potion to… uhm… To cure your small and insignificant wounds." He said, sarcastically. One of his soldiers walked towards Silanus and exclaimed: "Sir, we should get moving. It's late and perilous creatures fill up this forest!"

She glared at him, still hesitant and careful around him. She straightened up and dusted herself off, ignoring the pain. "What?" She asked with a huff. "Is there another problem I should know about? Or would you like a good arrow in your shoulder as well?" She crossed her arms and gave a small smirk.

She rolled her eyes and said, "Titles are words with no support. Creation of man I believe, as well as the rumors on over 1,000 creatures that they don't understand. Nobody should both with a title, or at least that is what I think so. You don't have to respond if you don't want to." She re-adjusted her bag and said, "Calling me crippled is like I started to call you Silanus the Arrogant. Its rude and I am certain that you wouldn't like it either. Now, can we be civil about this?"

She narrowed her eyes as she watched him reach into his gear, hesitant that it was a weapon and that he would attack her at any moment. When she saw the bottle, it didn't relax her one second. "How can I trust you?" She commented. "That could be poison. For all I know, I could take it, get killed by poison, and then you come back to loot my supplies." She later ignored the other two, hearing a faint noise. She looked up, got her bow and fired a few shots. She smirked to herself as a few birds fell to the ground. She snatched up the birds and said, "I'd offer you one, but again, the question of trust comes up."

Aerei wandered through the deep, humid rainforest. Shame I didn't buy that map, Aerei thought to himself with a nervous chuckle. His clothes were soaked in the perspiration of a long walk in the wet place, and bugs seemed to bite every bit of exposed flesh they could find. Why am I even here again? He wondered as he swatted some especially persistent mosquitos. Oh, right. It's that troll that's been terrorizing the nearby tribes. But by now, Aerei was getting tired. He scaled a tree with a convenient number of handholds, getting a brief lay of the land, then decided to use the tree's thick roof as cover while he took a little break. Just before his eyes shut, he heard voices in the distance. Travelers! He thought. Perhaps they know where the troll is! Aerei quickly got to his feet. "Hey! Are you wanderers? Have you seen a troll?" He shouted into the distance. Quickly, Aerei realized his mistake of not watching his step. Especially damp wood crumbled away below him, and he found himself falling about a story down the tree before his thrashing arms found purchase on a sturdy, yet thin, branch. His traveling sack slipped from his shoulders and fell a long distance before landing with a sound thump far below him. Damn, he thought. I can't see anymore branches. What am I going to do? "Hey! I'm over here! Help!" He cried out. Aerei felt his stamina draining, so he scrambled onto the branch, finding purchase only to sit and browse the woods from his several-story-high perch.

Shaking his head with a small grin on his face, Silanus and his group of soldiers began to walk away. Of course, that didn't mean he had finished with the elf. He simply expected her to follow him. "And why would I, the leader of a large clan, heir of a rich dynasty, poison a stranger and loot her supplies? I'm better than that!" He said, with a satirical voice tone and a small chuckle at the end, then spoke once again: "It's the orc who wanted your supplies, not me, ha-ha! You said you didn't have anything important and now you are afraid of me robbing you? Hm…" He turned back and turned his glance at her, with a taunting look. "You are really ambiguous, for an elf."

As they slowly walked, the soldiers stopped and one of them exclaime, pointing at a small water pond that was infront of them: "W-Wait… We have already seen this water pond!" Then, one of them pulled out a map and said, with a doubtful voice tone: "I… I think we should have crossed this water pond two hours ago… Have we been walking in circles?" All of the soldiers got upset, especially Silanus. They needed to get back to their encampment in the Steppes and could not afford to get lost and stuck in a damned forest!

Silanus turned to the elf once again and, with a more serious voice tone, spoke to her again: "Uh… Leo… Leodrisa, I assume you know the way out of this gods-forsaken, cursed, damned and miserable forest?" After saying that, he offered her the healing potion for the second time. "Go on, tell me the way to the Steppes. You could do it to compensate my selfless, honest act of giving you this potion? It will cure that wound of yours in a second…"

"Clans don't often have good intentions."  She said simply, walking after them. "Being ambiguous can often help elves out. Adds another layer to us and something different then others." She shoved her hands into her pockets and said, "After all, I'm sure even clans can appreciate a touch of ambiguity." She added a bit of distance between her and the men, curious to see which direction they would go in. That way, she'd know how to avoid them.

She softly chuckled and shook her head when she heard they were lost. She leaned against a nearby tree and watched with a small smirk, it was somewhat entertaining whenever men thought they knew more about the woods then they really did. "Need some help?" She called with a chuckle. Maybe the one and only advantage over him.

She nodded and said, "Easily. But you see, its a longer and tougher way to the Steppes when by giving a simple set of explanations. I need your map, and there is the easy way to prevent getting lost. If you mark the trees as you pass them, you get an idea whether or not you start walking in circles." She crossed her arms and said, "Trust me?"
