“I’d like to think that Coriko would love to see his mother happy and smiling like she is”, he offered as he looked at the picture for what felt like hours as his eyes latched onto the baby boy. “Sounded like a wonderful child. Aye, I know well how much they can be a pain when they are little. It’s not fair, I tell you… they can do that to you and yet still captivate your heart in a way nothing else can… “ He was reminded of Isabelle and for a moment he had to take a deep breath to keep himself from tearing up.

Fortunately Liz’s company helped him to recover quickly and he turned to face her. Krys rolled his eyes at the nickname she was fond of calling him. “I should have been calling it our room back there.” Despite it being a joke, it seemed to be true since it was rare for him to sleep in there without having her as guest with him. At least now they could enjoy the bed together formally. “Oh don’t worry about Blaine- that’s just how he is. He’s a pain but he’s good. Not too sure what to make of Toya tho. Her nickname of Wildfire suits her greatly.” He leaned closer to her and wrapped an arm around her back. “Yup, we can be as free as we want to be.”

For a moment, his smile dropped and confusion was written across his face. “Soundproof? What the…oh!” He quickly caught onto what Liz was saying and he could have slapped himself for not getting the connection. If anything, it was more ammunition for Liz’s campaign of continuing to taunt him and his age. He kissed her back and enjoyed their closeness. “Well we can talk about it, if you want. I have to say that this is a first in my relationships. Have never gone this long without…that sort of thing happening before long.”

Krys turned to her way and like he had back at the courtyard, he took her hand. “Shall we discuss then?”  

For a moment Liz put her hand on his shoulder. “We’re going to find her.” She knew how much Isabelle meant to Krystopher and she wasn’t about to let him lose her. Not without a fight.

There was a smirk on her face. “Not so sure that Blaine would have liked that.” She chuckled a bit more as she kissed his cheek. “Those two fit each other perfectly. That’s all that matters with that.” She chuckled a bit more. She snuggled into him as he put his arm around her.

A laugh left her lips. “You really are an old man if it took you that long.” She chuckled more before they began to kiss. “It’s my first relationship that’s taken this long too. I’ve enjoyed it… Stability has been really nice. But eventually, we would have to talk about it.”

She took his hands in hers and thought about it. “Where do you see our relationship right now? What’s the next move for us? Where should we go from here? We’re living together now… Not that we haven’t been but it’s more official… What should we do? I’ve never really courted anyone so I’m new to this.” She leaned in after all her questions and kissed him hard on the lips. "Tell you what if you make this worth my time I have something to show you. Something special I put together just before I came to get you." She teased him.

Krystopher wanted to roll his eyes at her, but she had a point. Had he really been off his game that much to miss the subtle hint? Perhaps he wasn’t the young man he’d been, but that didn’t count out his experience in these matters. “Aye, we would have too sooner or later. I’d be happy to talk more about the matter.” He smiled as he felt her hand curl into his and thought for a good moment.

“Well, it’s certainly blooming, slowly but surely. Hell I wasn’t planning on moving in here with you, yet here we are. We have been good for one another for a long time now, and I hope it will continued onward. That said…I can’t say that I haven’t been curious since I saw you for the first time…naked." He would have said more but the kiss threw him off. It was a vastly different kiss from her than what he was used to and his hands took to a mind of their own as they wandered onto her body. “There’s a much deeper connection between us, but I certainly enjoyed what I saw…but I didn’t want to be rude. Now, there are things that have ran through my mind, but I didn’t want them to ruin what we have. I knew for a long while that I wanted you…”

She stroked his interest with this little surprise she had for him and Krys was watching her like a dog would a bone dangling in front of him. Soon he leaned even more and kissed her again. “As for your question, we can pursue this further than we have.” He wouldn’t rush her if she wasn’t up to it, but gods knew that he wanted her there and now. The look in his eyes could testify that.  

“That’s the wolf in us… most of the time we like what we see and we want to pounce it. We are so possessive of our mates. Most wolves tend to consummate their relationships a lot sooner than we have.” She smirked at him. “We’ve just been scarred by life and are taking it slow.”

She wrapped her arms around him and rolled him on top of her. She stared up at him with the same look he had towards her. “Then don’t wait. We’ve had our waiting.” She pulled him down and kissed him deeply. The long moments afterward were wonderful for all the time they waited.

Their movements weren’t full of lust but the love they had built up with one another. She pulled him close and kissed the top of his head as she pulled him down to rest against her chest. For once the opposite way that they liked to lay in bed. “My surprise is in the next room over.” She breathed it heavily as she tried to catch her breath.

“As soon as your done being tired out from being an old man we can go look at it.” She chuckled at him and held him even closer.

“Guess between that and it never really dawning on me before about that, eh?” Her words were very true and he knew it. Yet they were taboo in their relationship and waited it out instead of throwing themselves at one another. It would serve to strengthen their bond when the day arrived for them to partake in physical activities.

Krystopher was pulled onto Liz, pinning her against the bed, recognizing the look in her eyes. Seemed like that day would be today. He didn’t reply verbally, instead he let his kiss do the talking for him. They had waited long enough and soon they embraced each other, craving every kiss and touch from one another. He recalled undoing her belt and then the rest of her dress while his clothes were easily removed and they took comfort in the skin to skin contact. There was much built up between them and their play lasted a good long while before the two collapsed from the love making.

Her scent engulfed his body as he rested on top of her and felt her body rising and falling with each heavy breath. Krys was trying to catch his own when he smiled at her and took in all the warm that radiated from her. “Sure. We can go as soon as you catch your breath from what the Old Man did to you.” He kissed and nuzzled at her neck as his arms wrapped around her tightly.

Elizabeth laughed hard at what he said as she tried to catch her breath. “So the old wolf has new tricks for the youngster.” She chuckled a bit more and kissed the top of his head once more. She loved how he nuzzled into her and if she could purr she would have at his touch. “I want to say waiting was the best thing that we could have done.” She was propped up against the head board and pet his neck and back. “It was almost electric and I can’t remember the last time it felt like that or if it ever did.” She laughed a bit more as she leaned her head back.

It was a few more minutes before she helped him get up and stole his shirt to put on. “Put some pants on and follow me…” She grabbed his hand and pulled him as soon as he was ready outside the room. She wasn’t as shy as she had been in Toya’s house. This was her home and she knew everyone’s schedules. It made it a bit easier to get around the house even semi-nude.

Opening the door she revealed a well-decorated room in a wine color. “I… made up this room for when we bring Isabelle home… I don’t know much about her but she’s young and a girl. I asked Crystaline for advice. I’ll admit that’s what else I have been doing. There are dresses in the closet and everything for her.”

She came over to a little jewelry box and waded through it. “A lot of the stuff in here is stuff I’m way too wild to wear but I thought Isabelle would like it. What do you think?”

“Well, I’m a quick learner and I’ve been known to surprise people at times. You, my dear, are no exception.” He couldn’t help but to rub it in after all those old man jokes Liz loved to tell. At least she knew that he could do more than just keep up with her. “Oh, I most certainly agree with that. It made it all the more worthwhile.” He could see that she thoroughly enjoyed herself and he damn sure did as well. He let her touch grace him ever so. “So I take it you approved?”, he questioned with a goofy smile flashed at her.

Their rest wouldn’t last too long, much to his displeasure but he had wanted to see this surprise she had for him and he obliged. Getting his pants from the floor, he swiftly got them on while she stole his shirt and was lead into the next room. He looked around and when she revealed that it was for his daughter, he thought about when they would be able to bring her back here, then he would truly be at peace. “I…don’t know what to say… thank you Elizabeth…” She left his side while he continued to stare about and daydream about Isabelle joining them here.

“I love it, and hopefully so does she. We weren’t on the best of terms before coming to Revaliir and I hope that when we find her, time will heal all wounds between our relationship. I don’t think I could ever repaid you enough for your kindness… Elizabeth.” Gods he hoped she would be found, safe and sound. “You really did plan this all out. I love that about you… “
