Larka shook her head frantically when Belle said about the dragon not devouring her, no no, that wasn't what Larka meant! Larka's eyed turned to Toya when she called Larka a bum, fair point really, Larka was in no condition to argue but she managed to get out that she needed the blood. Larka was afraid that the woman wouldn't get the blood, but she walked over to the dragon, making it roar as she slit it and filled a chalice fill of the crimson liquid. Larka's eyed widened as she was handed the blood, which she poured into the canteen with the rest of the ingredients and shook it to mix it. Without a deep breath the Reaver popped the top off and started to chug the now thick black blood down, some of it oozed around her mouth as she did, but once she was unable to get anymore out of the canteen she used a finger to get what was on her lips and cheeks into her mouth.
The reaction was quick as Larka's eyes went blood red all over and power radiated from her body and the weak and near death woman was replaced by one that was hopped on power and skin that was almost on fire from the inside as her heart raced and blooded coursed around her body. Larka eyed both woman, intent clear but they lead her inside and Larka pretty much just grabbed as house helped and pulled her in for a long kiss, thankfully the woman seemed to like the idea and they were given a room. Larka and the woman went right to the bed and Larka pushed her on it and both were naked within seconds.
It was a few hours later and Larka's powers had run their course, being as deprived as she had been from the concoction she was emptier on power more than normal so her body took into it more than normal of the power. If Larka had managed to take it when she normally would have, she could have probably kept at it for another couple of hours. As it was, it was enough as the two lay together in silence, Larka felt fine the house helper was exhausted but beaming in the afterglow as they cuddled. After a time she broke the silence between them. "My Mistress wishes you to dine with her, it should be almost ready, I'll find you some clothing to replace what you are wearing, and, we have just enough time for a bath." She smiled and Larka did as well, she loved a good two person bath.
Another hour later and a nice and clean, and very very sated Larka stepped out of the room with fresh clothing on, nothing special, but it fit, she was barefoot but that was alright until she could get her boots cleaned. The house helped had stayed back to clean up, and another had joined her, Larka had no doubt that stories would spread of this and she was happy with that. She left her weapons in the room for now as she made her way to the dining hall, hearing the sounds of a family ahead.
Walking in carefully Larka looked around and was unable to suppress a smile at the family setting, she had her hands in her pockets as she stepped in and found the faces of the two woman from outside she stepped a little closer looking a little sheepish, that had been one hell of a way to make an introduction. "Thank you, for everything, you saved my life there, if it wasn't for the blood I'd have died. My name is Larka, by the way, um, ya, like I said, thank you. I, uh, I guess you probably have some questions for me, huh?" She got out.
The woman, Toya, did have two. The first made Larka put on a puzzled look. "No, can't say that I have seen anything in the rafters, but I wasn't looking up." Larka replied, the second question, where she came from, she nodded to and answered. "Well, I came to these lands from another far across the ocean, I'm here to look for my, well, my wife." She admitted, these people had a family, small kids, Toya was clearly pregnant again and they had helped her, the least she could be was honest with them. "Celeste, my wife, has been missing for two years now and my leads brought me to these lands so I have been looking, but I haven't been here that long, just around a week. But I need that dragon's blood, and what I mixed with it, to live and keep my strength up. With how the days change between my home and here and missing days from being sick at sea, I misjudged when I needed to drink, I thought I had another half week. Obviously I was very wrong on that, and, if it wasn't for you, I would have died, so, thank you again." Larka explained and for now left it there and waited to see what else would be asked or said to and about her.
