Just past the courtyard of the castle there are large hedges with blossoming roses of all colors. The hedges seem to magically arch up and meet to allow entrance into the maze. The walkway is made out of what looks like mother of pearl, which is really a special stone crafted in Arri. At first the maze seems to go on forever until finally it opens up into a luxurious garden. There are all types of plants that grow in the flowerbeds. In the middle of the maze a giant stone fountain much like the one in the bazaar is in the center. Around it is finally crafted stone benches for visitors to sit upon and enjoy the beauty.

Along the other entrance to the second part of the maze is a large sundial in the middle of small primroses. They are all soft colors. This is the clock most go by on sunny days. Most come to see the clock because of its sister clock over in Kirika Lake. The maze itself leads to the lake. Most of the time children are seen running through the pathways trying to find their way to the main gardens of the maze.

Just after the Rose Maze ends the scenery opens up into a large glistening lake. It almost seems to look like the end of the oasis with its large tropical trees right up against some sides of it. The sunlight glistens down on the water and the winds gently ripple the water. Stone paths ways on the edges of the water allow one to jump from stone step to stone step if they wish.

The biggest attraction of the lake is the large glass clock in the center. It has roman numerals carved into it and two hands that move. Several different chambers can be seen as what looks like alchemy components and magic shoot up through the clock's chambers to change the seconds, minutes, and hours.

Its the only clock of its kind and it was built in the water because of the magic spring underneath the lake. Every hour the clock makes a musical sound that is carried over to the city. The sound is also created by the magic within. Its complex nature was created by mages of both the Magic school in Iria and Auzial Academy of the Gifted in Arri.
