The hunts-man Grakana teamed himself was was really eager to let him help with his current target. Apparently, a large leviathan threatening the waters around the Horae Island, and Grakana was going to be useful to taking on this target! Yes! Grakana was sure to show off his strength and power as he took down such a dangerous threats! With that, he could brag to the other Shakalaka about his grab achievements! GLORY SHALL BE GRAKANA'S!

Things were not as Grakana thought would be. Instead of readying himself for combat, tackling a beast many times more his size, Grakana was given the Mask of Meat to wear and lure out such a dangerous foe. SO! While the hunts-man relaxed on the peaceful beaches of the Ignius portion of the island, taking it easy and enjoying the sights, Grakana was sent into the water, being literal bait to lure the target out. It was no worry to Grakana, though, as the mask filled him with confidence. With strength. With the FEELING OF BEING DELICIOUS! "COME OUT, BEASTY," Grakana shouted in the ocean waves as smaller fish moved to stay away from the flailing strange entity, "COME AND GRAB A BITE OUT OF JUICY, LITTLE GRAKANA! BEASTY MOUTH WATERS BY HOW GOOD GRAKANA WILL TASTE! COME AND ENJOY FLAVOR!"

Still, no matter how much the Shakalaka shouted out into the waves, little signs of motions were around him, probably signifying how long he would be there in the sea. It was no issue to him, though, as Grakana was confident about his lung capacity… And if he did feel like he was starting to drown, he could always surface and let hunts-man pull him back in!
Lanani

Character Info
Name: Lanani
Age: Looks 25; Timeless
Alignment: None
Race: Mermaid
Gender: Female
Class:
Silver: 114
Lanani was hunting for treasures of her own. In the depths of the ocean were many shipwrecks, ruins of ancient civilization that’s been reduced to rubble, and even caverns which held untold secrets. The beautiful mermaid had made it her goal to search the ocean for treasures of gold, silver, and jewels, whatever she could find. But she was not so selfish as to keep it for herself. Instead, she would take the treasures and bring them to the land of humans, sell it in one of their towns and perhaps buy something of need. For her, it was much like a daily job, for it was far more difficult to find hidden treasures than one might think, and she did it to survive in the human world.

She swam close to the ocean floor, scanning it for any signs of sunken ships or ancient ruins when she noticed something above when she glanced up briefly. There was a ship of some kind, and something in the water. It was alive, for it was moving, and in that instant she assumed someone had fallen overboard and was drowning. Lanani swam up with urgency, only to find that what was in the water was not human. What it was, she didn’t know, but they were in danger either way.

As she got closer she notice some kind of wire, or rope on the creature, coming from the boat. Thinking it was caught by fishermen, and approached the creature and immediately began attempting to set it free, offering it a soft smile for reassurance.

A shadow in the depths slowly formed shaped towards Grakana. "Oh hey!" he declared out, waving to her, "You come to see how delectable Grakana is? See how juicy and full of flavor Grakana is? Grakana promise not disappoint!" However, the closer she got to the surface, the more it revealed it was not the leviathan he was to expect to chomp down on his perfectly cooked skull. Instead, it was a fish lady who came up, a peaceful smile on her face as she tried to work the hook out of his leg-of-meat-like head before having to tackle the wires that had been spun around the bone to ensure the fish could not easily snag the bait and get away.

Of course, the working to untangle the shakalaka caused pulls to the fishing line, which in turn made the huntsman grin. "Looks like you did well, ya dumbass!" he called out, taking the line with a firm grip before reeling in. It did not take too much of a fight, to his surprise, before hauling his new catch overhead, having the wet shakalaka and mermaid to fall upon the beach's sand. First thing to note: No leviathan. "Ah, goddammit! I told you were were after a–ahhh…" Second thing to note: the beautiful mermaid that now rested on the beach, causing his jaw to drop simply at her looks.

"You okay, Fish Lady?!" Grakana called out as soon as he got back to his feet, this small body hurrying himself over to the woman's side. "Do you need to chow on Grakana's skull to help feel better? Good meal help talls recover, Grakana hears!"
