He smiled as she ran her fingers over his arm, she was the only one in this world that could soften the man’s hardened heart and quell the fire within his very veins. If ever he lost her… the world would burn. He kept contact with his lover, preferring to feel her warmth against his skin; somehow she had the power to set his skin on fire in a completely different fashion to the Celestial Fires he held at his command, they were cold and full of the Heavens, Alairia was full of the fire of life and love. It fueled him, it gave him a reason to live beyond his revenge and his rage. 

”A healer is she? A Wolf so full of bite who wants to know how to heal? What a strange little creature you are Dala but my love only chooses the most worthy to teach so you must be quite remarkable. Though I’m almost disappointed you didn’t come for me,” he snorted, sitting down beside Alairia, placing his hands upon Silence’s back as the Drake settled into his lap. ”I will arrange the room for you Little Wolf, if you give me your requests it will be designed specifically for you and I can put in a door that will bring you directly to the Observatory, save you traversing Raiqi every time you have a lesson.”

He took Ria’s hand, his thumb absentmindedly running over hand, caressing her skin. He snorted as Dala laid out her plans. ”My mother would love you,” he uttered, unable to keep the disdain from his tone. ”That’s exactly what she has begun to create with her Guild, taking in the lost, the exiled, the homeless, and giving them a family. She calls it honorable, how very odd that others share her ridiculous dreams.” 
Raith was not well known for his tact, but he was known for his hatred of his mother. He had only ever agreed with Kythe on occasion, and even then it had been reluctantly. ”Admirable that you have such large plans at such an age,” he added, he might not share her dream but he could at least recognise the ambition.

As she continued, Silence stirred on his lap, placing his front paws upon the table, turning his eyes onto her plans so that his Master could see. This one was clever, he liked her. ”Clever girl,” Raith muttered, a genuine smile upon his face as he sat forward, fingers touching the parchment. He could not read them himself but Silence could show him the words, he had learnt how to read swiftly, despite never seeing them before. Irritatingly this girl would be a great leader, like his mother, he would have preferred to mould the fierce Wolf within her, would have seen that become the dominant self, but she was not here for him.
