Gale followed the trail, slowing down when she felt her foot sink down when she took a step. The pressure plate activated a rain of darts, so the best she could do was to quickly enter her elemental state of wind to channel the air around her. The vortex of the air currents diverted the projectiles and they fell to the ground. The dream-walker had to admit her heart was pounding in her chest like a drum. She had to be more mindful of where she walked. Proceeding more carefully this time, she soon caught sight of the strange woman up ahead. The walls here were composed of ice and stone,and piles of abandoned things and skeletons cluttered the corners. They were not a pleasant sight, but a reminder of acting rashly without prudence. The cold was beginning to get to her again, so she used a bit of flame to raise the temperature. Holding fire in her cupped hands, she used it both as a source of illumination and a source of heat. The orange-red fire flickered and crackled against the magic of the vault, holding steady just like its wielder.  "Hello? Where are you?"
