Staring at herself in the mirror, the wolf demon sighed. “You look lovely, mama!” Annette cheerfully clapped as she entered the room. “Thank you, Sweetheart.” Katerina smiled at her daughter as she turned to look at her daughter who had jumped on her bed. “Can I please–” The young girl’s words were soon cutoff by her mother’s finger. “No.” A smile came to the woman’s lips as she leaned down to kiss her daughter’s head. “Come now, child. Your mother must get ready.” Amare soon entered the room to join the two. She waved her hand at the girl with a smile and patted her shoulder. “Go, now.” The dark skinned woman smiled at the girl while she skipped out of the room.

“You look nzuri. ” Her thick accent was clear as she spoke in her native language. “This isn’t too much?” Katerina said as she motioned down at the dress she was wearing. It was a teal overcoat, with no top underneath. It was belted in the middle just tight enough to cover her breasts but still have a very long V neck, the v neck was also low in the back. Gold trim lined the edges in leaf and vine shapes. Only A long white skirt covered her legs and brown boots. The trim of the skirt also was gold.

“Nzuri,” Amare laid a hand on the wolf demon’s shoulder. “Your baadaye itaanza usiku wa leo. Now go.” With a wave of her hand, the woman opened up a portal to the entrance of Zetski Cradle. Kat soon rolled her eyes and sighed; she guessed that Amare said something about how her dressed looked. She couldn’t believe she was teleporting again. With a nod and a sigh, she headed inward. The wolf had already said goodbye to her daughters and was finally ready.

Appearing on the other side, the wolf demon gasped. She would never get used to teleportation. Gathering her bearings, she finally looked up at the cathedral before her. The beauty was amazing. A touch on her arm made her gasp and turn to see a man she hadn’t seen in months. “Nikolaus.” His hair was longer now, and even some scruff on his chin had grown in. Even with the hair, you could still see the scar on his cheek.
