A smile crossed the man’s handsome face; the expression a mixture of lust and murderous intent as he cast his dark eyes across the dismal landscape that was the underbelly of Jayou. It had been too long since he had last walked the dark streets of underground Jayou; too long since he had held her in his arms.

The thought of his lover stirred something within him and the man smiled once more; that same dark and terrifying grin flickering across his handsome face, flashing in his dark eyes - a step away from hunger… though in truth it was merely a hunger of a different kind setting his blood on fire at the thought of Cassia.
Her very presence was electric to him; every touch causing his skin to tingle and, her kisses able to set his soul on fire. In truth they forever lingered on the edge of hating one another as much as loving one another - they had first met when he had been tied to her table and she had tortured him; he had let it go on for weeks before using his abilities to shift into shadow, releasing himself from his bonds in order to turn the tables on her… Truthfully their relationship continually bordered on trying to kill one another - their connection was through their sadism towards one another and others around them… it had made them the perfect couple, powerful and terrifying.

He did not worry about her when he was away - Cassia was more than capable of taking care of herself, something he had learnt first hand of course, similarly Cassia did not stop her lover when he disappeared off for months on end for whatever purpose he deemed necessary - she knew he would return to her and he tended to bring her back something pretty… this time he had brought two presents.
Slipping into the building undetected the Dragon Shade made his way to her private rooms, quietly making his way inside a large, dark smile crossed his handsome face as he came up behind his lover, one hand reaching round to grab her throat and pull her head up towards him, the other gripping her waist tightly as he pulled her against his body and growled into her ear. ”Did you miss me?” He whispered seductively as he gently nipped at her neck, running his tongue along her jaw as if to taste her.
