They were made to look like damn fools before her cousin but now as the time for revenge. He would accept nothing less than Cassia’s complete surrender or his death at this point. For someone that had lost their sin, he was still headstrong and refusing to get on his knees in defeat. Undine felt similar to him and her resolve for this was far more personal. “Then we will. Let’s pay her a little visit as she did us.” Sol let her work out the kinks as far as plotting out which of Cassia’s businesses to target, what boats to ruins and anything else that held her name with it.

It wasn’t too long before the duo started their path of terror. They both had a death wish but would be damned to kneel before her or anyone that stood in their way. A pair of natural disasters they were, setting fires and ruining the ships with the tides. Flooding crept about as much as she wanted and he launched a fury of wicked flames where the water didn’t touch. They commotion stirred Cassia, clearly not pleased with their handiwork, though it did stir a smile across Sol’s face. “Oh, I do understand that all that hard work being undone by a stupid mistake, please forgive us”, he mocked with a half-hearted bow. She gave the order to her men to kill, and he held a far more menacing grin as his hands lit up with black flames before launching them at the poor fools. The flames cooked them alive to their very souls, their screams joined in union into a melancholy of despair. It excited him as he smelled the charred corpses before them now. “I’ll kill them all if I have to”, he smiled right before it was wiped away by Cassia’s continued threats.

“You do all that talking and bring up irrelevant circumstances. Sheesh, and I thought my father loved the sound of his own voice.” Sol was simply a man of action and wasted no time before he sent forth another devasting wave of flames, immolating more of her men. One thing did ring true, he wasn’t up to snuff power wise, nor was Undine but they were making a hell of a mess regardless. “For power? Foolish woman, you have no idea of what I’ve done.” If she was going to kill them, then she needed to shut her trap and do so. But Sol had no intention of rolling over and letting it happen. From the sounds of it, she envied a stupid person. Cyprus was never a thinking woman, to begin with, and like her, Cassia pissed off the wrong people.

Perhaps he was too concerned with the men and let Undine retaliate against her, but soon he looked overhead to see her hung by her trap. A faint frown came up as he continued to watch her dangle. “I’m aware, I was around during those times”, he spoke dryly. It did nothing to show the real burning anger that was inside him as such thoughts drove him over the edge. It wasn’t long before he started to shift and change as purplish flames sparked from his toning and grey body. His ebony hair changed into white and grew longer and his right arm appearing more demonic in nature. Xunatar, who had been watching to this point frowned deeply. “The boy finally got enough strength back to trap into his demon form…but he can’t hold it for long since it takes a great deal to transform.”

With just a snap of his fingers, he incinerated more of the opposition as well as a good chunk of a building they were sure belonged to the demoness. He felt the energy quickly sapping from him, but he would continue even on just willpower alone. “Live? That’s rich- I can accept death and that bastard stole it from me when he had the chance.” But then his eyes latched back onto Undine and remembered the promise that he made with her father. His golden eyes closed and a deep breath was taken. Of course, he should have known that his father was watching somehow, keeping tabs on them. The question was when did it happen and how long they were being observed.

Another option he would offer was to let her die with her men and businesses, but then Undine found a chink in her armor. He was quick to catch the Rosenite and set her down before turning his attention to Cassia. As much as he would have preferred death, Undine did have a say in how they could play this out. Reasonably, he would have loved to shove his hand down her throat and sent her ablaze from the inside out, but time was up and he fell onto a knee and reverted back to his normal form. “Fine. We’ll accept your terms, though I don’t see what use you claim you can see in us.” If leaving here meant not dealing with either her or Xunatar, then he could swallow that bitter pill. He rose up and looked to Undine, “We will have to pack up quickly then so we can depart for Kurayo,” He had heard of the name in passing back then, but like everywhere else, he assumed it was a different beast these days.

“I’m not at my peak right now either,” Undine admitted lowly. “I exerted a lot of myself when I was fighting with you. It left me vulnerable to her attacks a lot more than I would have liked. I’ve always managed to avoid her but she must have noticed how tired I was from using my magic… From blocking your attacks with myself.” Her fingers went to her new burn mark.

They had both messed up bad by not realizing they had been watched. To make matters worse, the person was the absolute worst that could have found them besides Xunatar. Still, her blue eyes were glued to Sol’s and she hadn’t even noticed that the men had left them be.

“Then let’s flood and rain brimstone and hellfire down on her. It’s the very least she can do for her.” Undine took his hand and rose up with him. “Either she’ll kill us or she’ll submit.” However, Sol was right they couldn’t back down. To hell with Cassia. There was a common enemy that they had to deal with.

It didn’t take long for Undine to figure out which casinos, boats, and businesses were Cassia’s. All one had to do was ask and the fools would tell you. They thought their boss was so high and mighty that she couldn’t be touched. So when the fighting started and the Siren and Djinn began to their pillaging people were screaming and running away.

Through the flooding, smoke, and fires Cassia stepped out. There was an elegant pipe in her hand as she used the hellfire that Sol had spawned to light it. There was a frown on her face as her gold eyes looked at all the damage. “You know… I spent years building up my lands… Getting all my people and my resources. It really irks me that you two can just come in here and rip it all up.” Cassia put the pipe in her mouth.

“Kill them. When you are done make sure their bodies are put on display so everyone remembers we aren’t to be messed with.” Cassia was stern as her men flooded into the play.

“NO CASSIA.” Undine fought her silence so she could speak up to the older half demon. “You will stop brushing me aside like I am not equal to you.”

“You aren’t equal to me,” there was disdain in Cassia’s voice as her eyes met Undine’s. “Nor is your little lion cub. You decided to both come here with hardly any power left in you and waste it on my land. I could kill you both right now. Put you into a sea of darkness and make you relive your worst days. Like being stuck in a tomb… or put under sleep kelp. Or even watching her die a hundred times over. The plucking of your scales day after day while men do gods knows what to the rest of your body. I am, after all, an expert in torture, manipulation, and outright murder. The issue with you both is that you actually have hearts. There are things you won’t do for power. I envy your mother for what she did Undine. Throwing her toddler into the water… Cannibalizing her own children. Forcing your brother to rape his sister for her ultimate goals, now that part freaked me out and I am a bit happy she never got to do it. Something about Xunatar and your siblings. Word gets around fast in these woods. She was the ultimate heartless bitch… Really is inspiring isn’t it?”

Undine bit at her lip but finally as she went send a wave of water. The darkness flooded in and like spider webs latched onto Undine and suspended her high above Sol. “Do you know what ancient demon warriors used to do to women?” The webs slowly started to pull on Undine’s arms and legs. “It was gruesome and the woman were often forced to endure whatever it was they wanted. Forced them to undergo pregnancies again and again. By the time the women were found they begged for death. I could sell Undine to some demons like that. It would pay for all of the damages you two have caused.”

Still, Undine did not struggle nor did she cry. Cassia’s eyes latched onto Sol’s. “I have a proposition for you Prideful Cub. The little Sea Witch has grown up rather nicely and while I do despise her I can respect her enough that she’s grown into her own power. In this world, you don’t let prospective partners die… Nor in your position can you argue with me. I’ll let you both live and in exchange, we’ll form a triad of power. You do jobs for me and I supply your little war. Men, gold, and whatever else your little hearts require… You don’t have much of a choice. Undine’s been too busy to notice but… You’ve been being watched. You were so careful not to let Eldora notice you but you got wrapped up in your fight with Sol and let your guard down. They know where you are and it will only be a matter of time before they come and get the both of you. Of course, I could do them a favor and kill you both right now. After all, this time Sol did put you in this situation. All I would have to do is drive my shadows right through that little heart of yours. The choice is yours. A shaky partnership where I let both of you live or I can kill you right now and your dreams can turn to ash.”

Undine scrunched up her nose. “You are a wicked woman, however, you are bluffing.”

Cassia frowned a bit and snapped her fingers letting the shadows drop Undine towards Sol. “You are correct. I can’t overpower you both. I can only keep Undine restrained while Sol would be able to fight me and my men. Still, my offer for partnership stands. If you don’t go all in and take my offer they will find you and you will lose.”

“Why are you helping us?”

“I can do whatever the hell I want that’s why. Besides I can use the two of you just as much as you can use me. Also, I don’t want any more of my properties destroyed. How did you tell I was bluffing by the way?" Cassia watched Undine with interest.

"I noticed it back in the cove but I was too emotional to think straight about it. Your voice changes just a bit when you go into a bluff. You hope to get your way and once you've mentally contained your opponent you make them your plaything. People who are emotionally compromised are easier to deal with even for people with your power." Undine looked up at Sol. "I do think… That under these conditions even if we do kill Cassia that she is right." There was clearly a level of agony that Undine was going through.

Eldora's mirror shattered and she frowned. "Undine cut us off."

"As much as I loathe her Sol… I think we should listen to her."

"That's a good little sea demon. I want you off my turf first. Second, I have property in Karuyo. It's an island so you'll be right at home near the sea. Third, it's a city that they won't have an easy time causing trouble in to come to get you. Fourth, you'll be able to get my men in line there and use them for your own needs."

"What are you getting out of this?"

"Easy, you are out of my city. You've been causing a mess lately and people want you gone. The choice is up to you dear Sol. I can have you on an airship by tonight."

This despicable woman thought she could talk about him like he was beneath her so. It only served to fuel his temper more; had he been at his prime right now, she would be scorched alive and then thrown into the waters for Undine to feast on her. But at the moment, he had to suffer through her damn words but his mind etched this memory, knowing that he’d make her pay for all she had done today.

Undine had been manhandled easily but he suspected that she didn’t really have much fight in her against that bitch; he had witnessed himself of what she could do and simply refused to believe there was another being more powerful than that. It appeared though that he was wrong when she was able to recover herself from the feral state of mind she was in.

Sol remained stony as he listened, unmoved by the fact that she was kin to Undine. He was not above kinslaying and this Cassia was fortunate that she didn’t end up like many brethren that did not side with him during his war against Xunatar. “She has no right to judge who is worthy of power”, he said clear as rain. His eyes narrowed dangerously as he believed that he would be put on the same pedestal as Undine had, considering the circumstances around his own rise to power. It wasn’t inherited through a parent, but his father made it clear that only the strongest of children would be deemed worthy of letting the essence of sin into their bodies. He had been the first to survive and rightfully acquired the most terrible sin of them all.

His fingertips were lit with a spark of flames as she went on about how Cassia would make her into her game. This wouldn’t do at all; Jayou was their safe haven and now she threatened to ruin it? She would threaten to undo everything up to this point? No, he would not flee or submit to the likes of her. “I don’t care how powerful she may be, I will not let her think she can have her way with me, Undine. Be that as it may, I can’t stand against her in my current state and gods know how long before I’m truly at my best again.” He hated doing this and it showed in the hard swallow before he sent the men out so that it was just the two of them that remained in the room. “I’m not strong enough to face her alone if that’s the case. Nor are you able to fight her well from the sounds of it. But if we…are able to work together, then we can show that bitch what happens when you mess with fire and water… “

“Then let’s do that.” He offered his hand to help her rise up to her feet, “We have nothing to lose but our lives at this point. Her? She has plenty to lose her grip on and that should get the message clear.”

Cassia scoffed at Sol and there was a simple amused look on her face. “Little boys who don’t know their place in the world and act like spoiled toddlers do not scare me. I would take a step back and remember your place. From the sounds of it you’ve already gotten your ass handed to you once for not knowing better.” It was clear that even though she had seen his power that she was not scared of him. The fact she had taken out Undine without a struggle was a testament to the amount of power she had.

After Undine had recovered enough she was in still in shock feeling cornered. Even when Sol spoke to her and asked her if she was really given in Undine could not find her voice. She was reacting like a wild animal. There appeared to be some comfort as Sol put the blanket around her naked form. The shaking and shivering stopped as she looked up into his eyes.

“Cassia… For everything, she was born into… Is the definition of evil.” There was a deep breath from her. “She was born to the Mother, an extremely powerful Rosenite Goddess. Yet even for her powerful demon bloodlines and her mother’s blood… She still craved power. She fought her way through demon pits even at a young age. She devoured demons and eventually came to devour her own demon lord father. Her father was as powerful as my own. I was spared by Angela the first time Cassia attacked me. It was just after I was brought back. Cassia was raging about how it wasn’t fair that I was just handed my power as if I hadn’t suffered enough to get it.”

Undine closed her eyes. “Angela banished her. If it is one thing that Angela does not like it is kin slaying even if it is her own daughter. Cassia and I have clashed many times in the past and each time she has found a way to overwhelm me even on my turf. She hunts me like sport once she knows I’m near her. If I knew she was in Jayou I would have avoided this place all together. You could say that Cassia has perfected the magic to kill me specifically.”

Finally, she felt the fires lit in her as she opened her blue eyes and stared up at Sol. “So how do we get her back? She’s been after me for two hundred years and she’s only gotten stronger. I’m surprised I didn’t notice her presence earlier. Her magic feels like a sick and twisted burn in the pit of your gut. It’s not like she hides it or herself. If it’s one thing that I know she hates… It’s losing her property. I'm getting really tired of her hunting me for no other reason than to devour me because she is jealous."

Whoever she was, Sol didn’t like her. While he understood how effective cruelty could be, he wasn’t one that overdid it as this woman had. “I care little of what your motive against her is, but if she makes it through this, do not attempt to end her life again or else.” Of course, his threat might have been toothless should she had really killed Undine off as it appeared.

He looked towards Undine with a stone look across his face as the medic explained the situation. “Do as you need to so that she can be saved”, he was quick to say. He would have gladly given up any of his men’s lives to save her if needed. Fortunately, it wouldn’t come down to that as they found some stranger who meant completely nothing to him. When the fool arrived, Undine snapped awake but something was off. Sol noticed it with some mild surprise across his face as she tore the man apart. Blood spraying everywhere and just as quickly as it started, it was over and that amazing strength she summoned waned.

As soon as she looked at him, she started making these strange cries that clearly didn’t seem like that one would hear from the other races. His confusion over the matter only grew as to why she was being this way. Was it that woman from before? Her kin? She had bugged him to no end and now she reduced Undine to this pitiful state. “Undine, are you going to give that bitch what she wants?” Crossing his arms, Sol looked at her before his hand gestured for the blanket that the medic would have put on her had she not tried to make him into a snack.

“Are you not better than this? You are a prideful woman that bowed to no one, yet you will let her get to you? I don’t care what ties she has with you- I will kill her if she does this again.” There was no hesitation in his step as he moved towards her and tried to cover her form with the blanket. “But for now, she must learn that I will not let her get to you and take that pride away. I know all too well what that’s like.”

Cassia’s eyes met with Sol’s. “Hate is a good word for how I feel. She is undeserving of her power. Also could have fooled me with how coldly you treated her.” Sol would maybe have understood Cassia’s plight with Undine but now she was gone. Perhaps the Siren was dead too.

Meanwhile, Undine was fighting off the magic that was going through her. “Lord Sol,” the medic looked up at him with a frown. “It’s ravaging her insides. A darkness I’ve never seen before. I can put a stop to it but… We will need to act fast for Lady Undine’s sake.” Her body had knife marks through it. “She will need a meal to help with the recovery. Unfortunately, like many creatures of her nature, she will require nutrients to actually fully heal.”

The medic worked on Undine for many hours before a live victim was brought in kicking and screaming. A low cry left the siren’s lips as her bloodshot blue eyes opened up to the man. The medic was trying to stand back as Undine launched herself with a ferocity never before seen. She was ripping the man from limb to limb. His flesh was what she craved and when she was done with her blood lust there was another said cry from her lips as she fell to the floor.

She was covered in not only her own blood but her victim’s too. Her chest was heaving as she looked up at Sol. It was obvious that what Cassia had spoken of bothered her… and the poor Siren had been stuck in her own thoughts for hours. Maybe this was what the blonde woman had wanted. She parted her lips and another sad cry came out towards Sol. Yet, she did not speak to the demon. Her heart was hurting too much. Getting a blanket the medic tried to cover her naked form but Undine tried to lash out at him with a bite. Luckily another member of their guard pulled the medic back in time. Undine looked scared and cornered.

The moment this woman of unknown origin came, Sol knew her to be trouble. Before that, it looked like he and Undine would have amended the bridge and continue on with their work. But then this bitch had to come in and sprouted lies. While it was true that he needed Undine’s power, he wouldn’t have sold her away like suggested. Nay, someone of her caliber would have been kept for certain.

“Who are you and why are you saying such ignorant things?” Sol’s eyes narrowed darkly at her before she continued on. He was starting to not like her as it was, but to go so far as to spread such hatred without reason was simply pathetic.

And then the climax- she attacked Undine without a care in the world. Hearing her call her kin struck him at first but wasn’t that what he had sought to do centuries ago? But he had reason to do so, or so he thought. “Leave her be!”, he shouted through the onslaught. Those words left his lips in vain as he noticed blood. He stood there shocked while her words turned to him, but they fell on deaf ears. What was he to do now? Without Undine, how would he advance in this world? “Feel? I didn’t hate her like you seemed to have.” He didn’t even know what he felt but he certainly didn’t hate the sea demoness. No, if there was anyone that deserved that right, it was this woman before him.

His hands scorched hot with flames as he stared her down, though it didn’t appear as it phased her in the least, which was troubling. “Damn you!”, he managed to mutter as she slipped away before he could make another move. She did it all because they were in her territory? She had tried to murder her kin for the sake of a plot of land? Sol released his flames in a fit of rage into the air for a few moments before he managed to settle down. He moved into the water and slowly approached the lifeless Undine and went to picked her up. “Wake up, Undine. You can’t be defeated by just that.” Would she wake up though? Sol carried her back inside and had her tended to as he waited. Perhaps he had caused this chain of events to occur simply because he was unyielding in his desires, but he couldn’t just let the injustice against him go unchecked…

"If I ever see that woman again, I will roast her alive."

Author: Cassia, Posted: Mon Feb 25, 2019 6:20 PM, Post Subject: A Couple's Fight [P/R]

There was a person who was watching their fight. They were getting ever annoyed with both of them and they knew a lot about the situation from how loud their yelling was. How pathetic they both were. Their guest would end this once and for all and chase the siren out.

Undine looked down at Sol from where she was lounging on the boats. “I’ll muck up whatever I please.” She huffed as she kept the piece of the ship she was on intact from his power. Her face, however, softened when she heard him say she was sorry. “Truly?” She slid closer to the edge of the ship part to look at him. “You are sorry?”

Finally, their guest stepped out. She was gorgeous with her pale skin, platinum blonde hair, and gold eyes. “Of course he isn’t. You are a pathetic sea witch. He is just saying that so he can use you like everyone else HAS ALWAYS used you.” Her tone was strong and noble. “How you keep falling for men like this is beyond me. A child of your power should easily be able to wipe him out… but no, your feelings keep you from killing him. You are a disgrace to your demon heritage.” She waved her hand with a unique flair.

“You are a worthless outcast who can never attract a mate. Whenever the sirens do their mating ritual they exclude you because face it… You are a false demon. A worthless half demon even after your blood was purged from you. Someone who was taken pity on and given power because you were a disgrace and you will always be a disgrace.” Undine was taken back as she lowly hissed towards the woman.

“This man is no different Undine. He will use you, abuse you, and probably sell you in the end. Honestly, I think I’m doing you a favor.” Thousands of knives formed out of darkness. “Take this with whatever honor you have left and stay dead this time.” Poison dripped from her lips. “Know that he will never love you and no one can or will ever love a failure like yourself.” The knives converged and Undine was quick to dive into the water and throw up a water shield.

However, the knives went through like they weren’t even phased by the siren’s powerful magic. “Please, like a great being like myself can be stopped by a pathetic bitch like yourself.” Cassia looked down on the siren. “Die Cousin.” The knives pierced and tore through the skin as the water in the grotto filled with blood. “I took care of your problem Sol of Lost Pride. Now find yourself a more worthy partner. She was nothing but a worthless wench on borrowed time. At least she knows how you truly feel about her in the end. Oh… and the little gaeas on you… From what I overheard I made sure I read into it right… You won’t be killed for this since it wasn’t your fault.”

With that Cassia disappeared into a swirl of darkness. “Stop wrecking my side of the city.” The siren's body floated up to the top of the surface unmoving over the rippling chaos filled water.

Author: Sol Norcross, Posted: Mon Feb 25, 2019 5:53 PM, Post Subject: A Couple's Fight [P/R]

Sol’s temper was ever rising with Undine; now she accused him of being weak, at least in his mind. “I know who I am, I am Sol of the Lost Pride. I will not yield to anyone that goes against me, not even you.” He tried to keep his anger in check, but it was a pitiful attempt. She knew what buttons of his to push- she had plenty of time of observation and getting to know him to do so. “At least I will not fail in ending my parent’s life as you did.”

It was a terrible thing when two powerhouses collide and it was evident when the mist cleared and he hadn’t gotten rid of the cove like he wished for. No, the siren stopped him good and it clearly showed that he was livid now. He felt the pain caused by when she blocked with her tail but his focus was greatly on her more than the pain itself.

“I do not have to do a damn thing! You are forbidden from walking on my land then. When you come back and grovel, then I may consider letting you back into my house.” It was clear that they were getting nowhere with this and she slipped away while he stormed out. His magical strength was waning but it pales in comparison to him not getting what crossed her so much.

One thing was for certain; it was hell when it came to the time he had been without Undine. It was simply because now he had to try and contend with things that he would normally include her in. It was little things here and there; whether it was a plan to go in as a couple and infiltrate one of the casino boat’s safes or needing her as a distraction while he would spy on some of the powerful houses here. No matter what he came up with it, it annoyed him to no end that she wasn’t here.

The next morning faired no better and Sol lit the remains of the ships on fire as soon as he set foot out the door. “Don’t muck up my land, Undine. Last warning.” Sol carried a disheveled look from his wild hair to his appearance. There was no time for these games and despite being angry at her, he needed Undine’s power. “Fine, I’m sorry for disrespecting you, now will you come in?” He hated to swallow his pride, but too much time and energy was wasted on these trivial things.

“At least I let myself feel… Maybe if you let yourself have some emotions every once in a while your daddy wouldn’t have locked you up because you wouldn’t have pushed your luck.” Eldora winced a bit. “It’s true I might be out of control but I’ve never once denied what I am… Unlike you, I admit my mistakes.”

Undine was already fully aware of the water that was leaving her side of the pond so to speak. Her blue eyes started to glow as she swam under the water. “I have never once been in your custody. I have been here out of my own free will.” Her voice was bouncing off the water droplets that were forming from the steam around him.

“The deal you had with my father was simple.” She stuck her tail out of the water at the right moment and go hit by his flames. Per the agreement, Sol was injured as well. “You hurt when I hurt.” There was a rage in her voice as the steam began to form clouds and started to rain down on the cove. Returning the water from where it came.

A few burnt scales washed ashore but no worry for Undine. She was scarred before she could be scarred now. She did not care. “Now be gone from my cove Sol. I will not leave and I refuse to until you know what you have done and apologized. I am not someone who will be put under your thumb. I am NOT someone who will be trifled with and I am most certainly not some wench that follows your orders just because I am scared. You don’t have a clue about me or you would have realized that by now.” The ocean roared into the cove taking out the docks.

With that, she was gone. The next morning the cove was flooded with crates and loot from cargo ships out at sea. The land was littered with bodies and broken ship parts were cluttering the cove. Undine was lounging up on one of the shipwreck pieces with her legs on her. She was looking at the burn that she suffered to teach Sol a lesson he most likely didn’t even learn.

“You dare call me a half breed!”, he roared at her. Undine was getting underneath his skin and he didn’t dare to hide it. Had he had the strength back then, he would have had a good old fashion fish fry and she would have been the main course. They bickered and fight viciously until they went to their respective corners and left it at that.

When he finally was willing to let her back in, she stirred up even more trouble that was testing if she really was worth all this. True, she was powerful but unfortunately, his father was right- sea demons were too irrational and emotion-driven to deal with. He thought that it wouldn’t apply to him, but apparently, he was wrong though he wouldn’t flat out admit it.

“Emotional? That sounds more like you, Undine. And no, I’m not done being a jackass as you put it and to hell with apologizing!” His temper only rose further by her childish antics and flames rose from his palms, glowing brighter with every retort she did to him. “And you are a bitch.”

Dante cooed at what his brother said before erupting in laughter. “Man, these two are a riot.”

Sol was nearly knocked away by the tidal wave and then she added insult to injury which made him unleash the flames onto the very water itself. Dante thought he had missed, but then noticed what he was trying to do. “He’s going to evaporate the water, isn’t he?”

“Damn you and your water. You will come home and follow my lead, woman! That was the deal when you were taken into my custody!” Much of his power had returned over the course of months and he would see this entire cove gone if it meant that she would have no choice but to remember that he was the leader here.

Eldora tilted her head. “He’s missing on purpose whether he’s realizing it or not…” This was amusing at best. Xunatar was right that he might get taken out by Undine all on his own. “She’s probably going to kill him but we should make sure… Who knows how long this will last though. She is stubborn and he is Pride. He also can’t hurt her so if he lays even a scratch on her… He’s going to get retaliated on… This is a win, win for us if he goes through with this.”

“DUMB SIREN?! You… are the most idiotic half demon I have EVER had a pleasure of laying EYES on. I wish I had eaten you when I had the chance!” Undine growled at him from the water. She splashed him as soon as he got out close enough to the water.

Undine swam to the deepest depths of the water in a huff. She didn’t want to deal with him and from the looks of it Sol was done with her for the day. For the next few days, Eldora watched Sol rage about the inn. He was at an utter loss without her and it was clear to be seen by Eldora that he was rather hurt by her departure.

Undine popped her head out of the water when he called for her. “Are you ready to stop being an emotional jackass and tell you are sorry for what you said?” There was a tussle of her wet hair. “Cause if not I got a gesture for you.” Sol retorted as she sunk into the water. She swam close enough popped up and squirted the water in his face. “You are an asshole.” She yelled up at him.

“…They are still so angry days later.” Eldora wasn’t as shocked as she was entertained.

Undine sent a tidal wave at him and further insulted him by splashing him with her tail. Her head popped back up so she could watch his reaction. "I will come home when you apologize."

Xunatar had been with Dante, watching him try and tame his boys when he heard the summons from Eldora. Still coming to grips with his fall, the demon lord rose from his spot and headed towards her location. Sol was a thorn at his side that had to be removed quickly, but so far they had little success in locating that brat and his companion. Dante left his sons to their own devices and followed his own father.

“Oooh, what do we have here?”, he said with a slick smile. “Looks like my brother doesn’t possess the tact that the rest of us have.”

“Nevermind that, we at least have some idea of a location of where they are at.” His eyes glared at his annoying son as he continued to make a fool of him. Sol had instructed Undine to do something she clearly did not want, but he was very adamant as usual. “I told you to do it and now. You owe me your life, woman and you will do as I wish.”

He repeated himself, this time in a much angrier tone which didn’t sit well with her. Her words were expected but the slap took him by surprise. He felt the burning sting across his cheek and before he could say another word, she left in a huff. “Oooh, spicy!”, Dante spoke as he laid onto the ground and watched with his feet kicking in the air. “Didn’t think she would ever hit him.”

“That doesn’t matter. What does is that we might not have to lift a finger in his demise. Undine might do it for us if his pride continued to remain strong”, the demon lord replied. This would be a predicament that would work great in their favor. And best of all, Xunatar knew that Sol would screw this up as long as he couldn’t swallow his pride for her.

“UNDINE!”, Sol finally managed to bellow before rushing out of the inn and then gave chase. “You dumb siren, get back here!” The demon hurried but was too late as she made it into the water. Some of the men were coming out but one look from their master scared them back inside. “Get back here now!”

He was then greeted with her splashing him, which made his mood worse. Summoning flames from his hands, he went to toss them at her but wildly missed. It was as if he couldn’t hit her, but he didn’t care to admit that he might have missed on purpose. “Damn you, Undine.” He went to search the waters, but to no prevail. If he could, he would tear his hair out if he could but Sol marched away from the water and back inside where his fury was felt by everyone around him.

“Wow, I think they are”, Dante cooed before laughing at this situation. “This is great!”

The next few days were filled with him moping around and blasting anyone that tried to talk to him. When he grew boresome of this, Sol was back at the water where Undine disappeared to and called for her. “Undine! Are you ready to come back now!”

“Xunatar,” Eldora approached him at the Black Court where they had been laying low for some time. “I’ve finally done it. I’ve finally managed to get a clear picture of Sol and Undine. If anything it is thanks to these necklaces that have been stabilizing the two of us.” She placed her hand on the necklace nestled by her breasts and formed a water mirror.

The image cleared and the voices started to flow through. “Do you want to repeat what you just said to me Sol?” Undine was as radiant as ever as she glared towards Sol.

He repeated himself probably in anger and Undine scrunched up her nose. “Fuck you,” she hissed as she slapped him across his face. “Everything that I have done has been because I wanted to do it not because YOU told me to. I would suggest that you cut the crap with me right now.” Her voice was roaring and Eldora could hear the ocean.

After a few more heated words from Sol, Undine began to undress in front of all their men. They were horrified and covering their eyes. “Take these!” She threw her clothes at Sol's face before she marched her way towards the door. “I’m leaving.” She huffed back at Sol. Opening the door she slammed it right in his face as she made her way into the water.

“HMMP,” she made the noise loudly as he followed her down. She transformed and splashed the water up into his face. It appeared like the back of the manor was inside of a cove or something. “And I’m not coming out until you get some damn sense knocked into your head.”

Eldora was speechless. “Are… Are they actually fighting?”
