The days following the opening of the church had kept the brothers Lo'vada busier than they ever been in their lives. While Isaiah had been prepared to deal with the craziness that the constant patrons that visited for blessings, confessions and the general services, Elijah was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the needy people. The usually laid back man didn’t exactly know how much work, effort and time was to go to the church, and by the time he finally felt as though he could fall back into his seat and kick back, the younger brother swiped his feet from the top of the desk and shook his head.

“Come on, brother!”, Elijah spoke, nearly whining at him. “I just need a few mins or an hour or two!” Isaiah rolled his eyes as one of the clergy members came into the office and presented the donations for the day. “Put them in the lockbox”, he ordered and while they did that, he looked back to Elijah, “You can rest after you finish up.”

“Finish up?”, he looked dimly at him, “The hell are you talking about? I’ve already completed my tasks for the day.”

In Isaiah’s hand was a bunch of documents that he didn’t hesitate to toss onto his brother’s desk. “Deliver those to Lady Angela’s church. It’s the records for the arrangements to be made for the Lord’s wedding.”

Elijah leaned forward and skimped through a good deal of them before frowning. “It’s all boring stuff. Why can’t they get this tomorrow?”

“Because time is of the essence. The sooner we prepare, the better off we will be and not waiting until the last moment. I get that sort of thinking is your field but it isn’t for the rest of us.”He’d figured he would add the icing to the cake to get him and comply, “You need to deliver them to Fraeya.”

While he wasn’t looking forward to walking all the way down to the church and deliver some damn papers that may or may not need signatures, he did, however, perk up when he heard the snow elf’s name mentioned. “Oh really? Well, I do suppose I need to stop being so lazy and actually get to work”, he spoke, drumming his finger down with every word.

“I know. Also… please try to not cause any trouble for us, our family or this church”, Isaiah sighed, quickly remembering who he was talking to. Perhaps it was a bad mistake to rally him up with her.

“Me? Never!” With a smirk, he launched himself from the chair and left the room, only for his brother to wait a few moments before handing the returning cardinal with the papers he forgot. That out of the way, Isaiah helped himself to the decanter he kept in hiding and poured a glass for himself as he tried to comprehend how the fuck they were twins.

Elijah practically skipped all the way over the elegant cathedral and requested one of the workers to let Fraeya know that he was here for her.
