((Because this looks fun, I may just jump in!))

Amé had been quite content, sat in the corner with a beer and minding her own business. Her fellow team of mercenaries were off doing their own things in a place where all things dodgy and unlawful were fair play. And why not? Sure it was not Amé's thing but she was content to sit, to drink and see what kind of things decided to fall in her direction.

Her band would return soon enough and then they'd be off elsewhere but until that happened, there was always an adventure of her very own to be had to pass the time.

The first man who headed to the bar, Amé didn't bat an eye to. Lots of people come in to drink and lots of them need to drown their sorrows. It was a tavern. It was what it was for.

The tremendous yell out of nowhere however, that she could not ignore.

Like everyone else, Amé looked up, turned and with her drink in hand decided to watch the spectacle with the same fascination one would use while watching a mummer's play.

Was the man who yelled some form of law enforcer? If he was then giving his game away had to be a bad plan in a place like this.

But then the man continued talking and it quickly became apparent he was probably just a crazy guy. What did he actually have against the fella at the bar?

Well shit, interest had now been piqued and the bouncers were about to take away the thing she needed to know more about. Just what the hell was going on?

"Well hold on just a second."

Amé called out as she finished her drink and stood up. She approached the two bouncers, the deranged man and the bloke from the bar with a sauntering step, a hand on the hilt of her horse-headed bastard sword.

"What's this man done that he's got to come with you? Poor bastard only wanted to drown his sorrows. Can't you leave him be? Why do you get to be the person who gets to leave with him? hm? What if I'd rather it was me?"

Her gaze moved from Silanus to Kyrel, hoping to the gods this whole act would work. She wasn't above making it look like she was interested in some fun if it meant she was saving the fella's life in the long run.

All of her alarm bells were going off, there was no way she was letting this happen. How was she going to get the message across that it was probably best if Kyrel took her offer?

"Surely you'd rather leave the tavern with a pretty girl over a man of such - interesting personality?"

Her eyes gestured to the door. Would he get it? He needed to leave now. Seriously.

The fact that Silanus was in the south of Canelux was already rare, but not only that, he was in a tavern, drinking grape wine. It is very odd to see Silanus in a tavern, instead of the wilds… He was there, with his heavy armor, his sword and his shield, just sitting, drinking his spiced grape wine in a glass cup… Quite suspicious, in fact; or was it not..? Silanus is a damn weird person. He noticed a fellow stranger drinking some drink. Silanus often looked at Kyrel, he was trying to avoid being suspicious, but still, he looked at the man like a damn stalker…

It was reaaally easy to see that Silanus was extremely nervous, yet the reasons were unknown. He kept looking at Kyrel twice every ten seconds… He then yelled "Enough! You are coming with me!" everyone in the tavern silently turned to look at Silanus, the poor man got even more jealous and said with anger: "Oh, don't look at me like that you sons-of a… An… A w-whore! A bitch! That's it! Silanus is talking to this guy, not youuu! So, keep doing your clumsy, crappy affairs because Tacitus noooot talking to YOU!" Silanus stood up, he was really stressed… Some angry drunks stood up, ready to beat the shit-talking armored madman. Two bouncers passed by and one of them talked to Silanus: "Listen here, buddy. I do not care if you are just drunk, or have a donkey's brain, but you are leaving now. We don't want trouble makers." Thanksfully, Silanus didn't reacted as a psycho and murdered everyone, instead he said: "Oh, how unfair, how unjust! That is simply not correct! Silanus hates troublemakers. Hmph, fine! Poor Silanus will leave your stupid bar, but this man MUSTS come with me, with Tacitus Silanus!" Silanus held Kyrel's arm, ready to go with him.

((Very R for language))

The last few days felt like a different lifetime, and yet he couldn't shake it. Nothing quite made sense to Kyrel ever since he woke up from a seemingly endless dream. Something about becoming someone's whore and liking it or something, he couldn't quite remember all the details but he damn sure wasn't pleased once he woke up leaning against the side of a building. He wasn't someone's "property", whether it was a noblewoman's wish, a so-called goddess' or both was irrelevant. He would rather silt his own throat than to ever become enslaved in such a way, but right now he had bigger problems. He didn't know where he was at the moment; sure it was one of the southern cities given its exteriors and the smell of the salty air suggested it wasn't too far from the sea.

"Damn. Don't tell me I'm in Vilpamolan."

Given the circumstances, it seemed to be the case however and Kyrel threw his head back against the wall. "Of all the bloody places, I had to end up in pirate territory. Dammit all to hell." Was he cursed or something? First the unusual dream and now this. If he had believed in the Gods, he would be cursing their names to the high heavens. Doing so now would only waste precious breath though so he started the painful task of rising up to his feet. After stumbling and nearly falling over for a few times, he finally made it to a standing position and glanced down to notice that both his sword and shield were right nearby. He couldn't help but shoot a look with a raised brow; this city was known for its lawlessness and for no one to actually rob him of his equipment didn't seem right for some reason. Had all the pirates died off? It was a pleasing thought though he supposed that without them, he couldn't get a decent drink in these parts and he was in dire need of one too. Or several of them actually. Once they were properly placed back onto him, Kyrel moved around the building and onto the streets. Seem like the evening had only begun and he could hear the joyous racket close by, most likely a tavern.

As he started his way over there, the man halted for a moment. "Crap. Some of them are probably over there", he groaned to himself before continuing. To hell with them, he wouldn't be bothering them and they surely wouldn't mind his presence, he hoped. The last thing that was needed was for a fight too early, maybe after he got a few drinks inside first. As he entered the tavern, his suspicions were confirmed as he could see tables filled with those swashbucklers laughing it up and drinking and spilling their beverages like buffoons. Place a hand over his face in distaste, Kyrel moved to the bar and gestured to the barkeep. "Gimme your strongest stuff." His hand went into his pocket and fetched a bag of gold coins. "And keep them coming too" The barkeep nodded and took the payment, returning the favor with a large bottle and a drinking glass. "Stuff's called Ebony Whiskey. Trust me, one glass is enough to take you out for a while, my friend" Rolling his eyes, he snatched the bottle itself and put the head to his lips. The stuff didn't burn his throat, it was incinerating it and he stopped to take a couple of coughs before looking at it and then the barkeep. "Not bad", he smiled before drinking some more. "Keep the bottles coming."
