Ellis grunted in disgust as the sun beamed down its warmth. Accustomed to the chilly air of the mountains, heat was met with disdain. Along with the heat, accompanied by the filth of the pirate bay, Ellis to say the least was a bit disgusted. If Zetski streets were as diry as Pirate bay, he thought, adding a silent eye roll. Letting lose a sigh, he ducked under the awning and the shade it supplied back into the warmth and grime of the inner city of Pirate Bay. There were rumors of a healer that lived here. He was hoping she might be able to fix his wings, but once again, met with dissapointment.
He found his way back to the dirty streets of the main road, houses and stalls lining either side of the street. The crowd was thick and noisy. Shanties and music were lively played on the open decks of taverns, the drunken voices of pirates adding to the noise. He continued down the street, heading for the exit, back to the cold snow of Zetski where a warm drink wait for him. An anticipating smile crept across his face at the thought, as he reached a gathering of thugs and commoners at a shaddily built check point. He sighed, continueing forward, not caring about the situation of the city. A strong burly hand grabbed his shoulder, stopping his progress. "Where do you think youre going? Stay awhile." Said one of the pirates standing guard. "There's been a change in power around these parts. No leaves until I say so."
"I dont care about your stupid squabbles. Im not a part of the city. Let me pass." Ellis said, disintreasted. The merely laughed, shoving him back into the swarming crowd. Ellis tsked, rudely turning around walking the other way. The same was for everywhere else. Pirates blocking people from leaving. Apperently, one of the pirate lords is over throwing the others, locking everyone inside to weed out the pirates loyal to the other lords. "This is a pain." An aggrivated sigh escaped his lips as he found his way into a tavern to waste time.
