Lunatic? Perhaps. Overconfident in his abilities? Maybe a little. But the knight was confident that was much was clear. The men had had their bluff called and they either had to fight or run and be known as cowards, and in a city like this city cowards did not last long.
It was a tense for moments where nothing happened until one of the rouges broke and charged at the knight with his axe. He yelled as he ran forward and swung in a powerful but sloppy strike, and the knight's blade caught the axe head with a ring of steel on steel. With a trained movement the knight disarmed the man before using the pommel of his sword to knock the man out cold.
That was the alarm for the rest to attack together. Steel rang on steel as the knight made small back steps, using his armour expertly to take the strikes where he wanted them to hit when he was unable to block them directly with his blade. He knew where each of the three attacks were at all times, to a trained eye that was clear, they may have had him walking backwards but they were still dancing to his tune.
All three of the men's blades struck at the same time and the knight dropped to one knee as he caught all three on his blade, right hand on the hilt left gripping the tip of the blade so they couldn't slide their blades to that side. He held them all as they pushed down with all their combined strength they could not force him down further. More so, the knight started to push back against them, and win, pushing them back as he started to gain his footing again.
The knight regained his sword and place the tip back to the ground, both hands folded casually on top of the pommel as he looked around.
”Are these to be the only four, or are there more? I'd still like to get a drink and some food if I can before the night is old.” He spoke casually and waited.
[OOC: Bring out more or have the fight stop, what happens next is up to you! :D]

She was unsure of why she would travel so far just based on a small bit of gossip in a pub back home, but at this point she hardly had anything to lose and thought it would be best to follow the bit of information given to her one drunken night. It was the first time she had ever visited Vilpamolan on her own. Usually her brother and his entourage would accompany her but he was gone, and they had left to tend to his estate. Amberlin was just a woman, grown and unmarried, but not capable enou0g of tending to the house hold on her own. Thus she was cast easily aside, her family was no longer ruling the pose, there were no more male heirs on her side, so she was left. If only she had married when her brother had attempted to force her, but instead she had rebelled, and fought for reasons that seemed silly now. Now that she was alone and in ruin. Adeluna was a fickle city anyways; always ebbing and flowing with each new thing, and the constant change of divine did little to help the unstable situation.
Amberlin did have a small goal now that her brother and suffered and lost due to the rampant plague. She wanted to learn magic, to conjure a simple healing spell when the time came, but she had no talent for the magical arts. In this city she knew she had to be careful, being in the wrong place at the wrong time was very common with so many different factions warring one another. Even making friends with the wrong person could potentially be fatal, and considering that she had long white feathery wings, it went without saying that Amberlin was not from around here and did stick out like a sore thumb.
This was why when she heard a commotion in the road just up a ways from her current location, Amberlin paused. She did not go to anyone’s aide just yet, she had to wait and be sure that this was not a trap—and it was possible that it was. Their exchange was curious enough, given that this was far from a fair fight. This was an unguarded city, so all of the fighting would not bring any help to the lone fighter in armor. He was the first to draw though, which she knew was a mistake, never be the first to draw even in an unfair fight, but especially in this city. This man was just asking for trouble, she could tell. She did reel back slightly when he mentioned that they should attack first, was he a bloody lunatic?
Stepping forward she folded her arms across her chest and watched just a short distance away. She was not going to get hurt, but this was a lawless town, she would make sure to help should this really turn into an unfair fight. She had one talent, and that was with her bastard sword, she could slash with the two handed weapon expertly, but it was the only thing she had going for her.

The night was young, but in a city of pirate and crime, day or night there was always problems. This night was little different, but instead of each other a few of the inhabitants had decided to try and take their aggression out on an outsider they hadn't seen before. But at least one of them had known the man on sight having heard of him before from a friend of a friend who had witnessed a fight the man had been in.
So in the middle of the street for locals all armed with swords and axes had surrounded a lone figure, covered in heavy armour of black and white, chainmail in places to help with movement. His face was covered totally and he had a hand on a four foot long bastard sword but it was still in its sheath for the time being, it seemed none of the toughs around him wanted to make the first move just yet.
”We heard of ya, lad, what you did to some of our brethren a few months back.” One toughs warned.
”Oh? Perhaps, I lose track sometimes of who I bring to justice. Perhaps if you stopped..” The knight started but was cut off.
”Shut yer mouth! High and mighty assholes like you, always gettin' in the way of our business.”The knight sighed under his helm.
”Listen, gentlemen, all I want to is get a drink and something to eat and I'll be on my way. This does not to end in violence, I would rather not have to clean my gear tonight if I can help it, and I'm sure you have some wenches to get back to somewhere.” The knight replied.
”I ask one last time, please move from my path peacefully.” He said evenly and looked around him at the four men, and the few standing off to the sides watching not sure if they'd get involved or not. None of them made to move away from their places and had their weapons ready just waiting for one of them to get the nerve to attack.
The knight sighed again as he drew the bastard sword from its sheath and readied himself.
”Alright then, gentlemen, if you insist, I'll give you the first chance to strike.” He said calmly, his advantage was his heavy armour, among a few hidden things, their swords and axes would have a hard time dealing with his armour and they knew it. But now that they had been called out and had stood their ground, in front of everyone watching from the city, they couldn't back down from the fight they had started.
