By time she was called back into the room, she had learned a few interesting things as the code tapped was responded to. She had 13 men in her underground and all were safe. Which confused her but she did not let it show. But she was curious as to what the person was going to say. It was also kind of interesting as to how fast the guy was going to talk.

Walking back into the room she closed and locked the door. "He is ready to talk already? What did ya do to him?" She said as she walked over to where they were. She was quick to notice the womb and its verry interesting shape. She has no clue at first what he did untell she looked around at the tools he used. Than looked at the mans face all thoughts hidden behind her poker face. "Well spill the beans. Who you all got and where are they being kept?" She said her voice flat.

He started talking with the pain in his voice. "We… we got Turas… Up in… in the… the arena." Some of his words slurred with his breathing but still was understandable. She tilted her head in question. "Your lieing. The pirate girl has no connection to me and only an idiot like you would get ran off by me and return. Perhaps he needs a bit mor convincing" She stated now understanding why her men were still safe it was ger kid that ran away that they claimed to have.

The mans face went ghost as he started swearing and talking more. "I swere man… that is who they got… Said she was one of your men… Said she wanted to know were you were… ask for forgiveness… She is in the arena… going out to fight… death tonight…" He was sweating and shaking from the fear of more. "Well this was a waist of time." She said a bit of disappointment in her voice. "Lets go see whats up." She said as she turned than looked back at him. "Just leave him to the wererats." She than placed a knife within his hands reach, turned and walked to the door. She oppened it and wold leave it that way as she left.

When Silvertail reached the bottom of the ladder, joining Hagar on the walkway, she emitted a small fire from her hand. The flame created plenty of light by which the two could see the tunnels with.  The pirate slung over Drayvnn's shoulder didn't make a noise as the shaman followed Silvertail through the tunnels of the sewer. The man did struggle a little, however, when they stopped at a door with a flag painted on it. Silvertail walked into the dark room and lit a few torches hanging on the walls. When Hagar saw what was in the room he immediately understood why the man had begun to struggle outside the door.

Scattered around the room were tables and racks filled with a large variety of pain inducing instruments. Scalpels and forceps lay on one table, while a number of hammers occupied another. Whips and flails hung from racks on the wall alongside swords and other instruments of torture. A barrel full of what Hagar assumed was some sort of caustic material sat in a corner of the room and an empty wooden table sat in another. Along the rear wall was a row of chains and shackles. Upon Silvertail's command the shaman took the pirate to the back and secured him with one set of the chains and shackles. Hagar knew this was a test. Silvertail wanted to test his willingness to cause harm to another person, as well as testing to see if he could be trusted.

As Silvertail exited the room Hagar looked around, thinking of what means he would use to extract the information that Silvertail was seeking. As he was analyzing a blade he heard a familiar squeak coming from inside the room with him. He looked over to where he had heard the noise and discovered precisely what he thought he would. A large black rat was in the corner, gnawing on some food that it had most likely plucked out of the sewer waters. Hagar used his ability to commune with beasts to summon the creature over to him. As the rat walked slowly over in his direction Hagar unchained the man from the wall and used some spare rope to secure him to the empty wooden table instead. He walked over to where an open container sat, full of nails. The shaman dumped the nails out and brought the metal container back over to where the man was tied up. He then knelt down and picked up the rat, placing it on the man's stomach, before flipping the container upside down and covering the rat with it. He was going to teach this man a new kind of torture that he had never witnessed before.

"Have you ever heard of rat torture?" Hagar asked the man. He could tell by the look of confusion in the man's eyes that the pirate had never heard of it. Hagar walked over and picked up a torch before continuing his speech to the man. "Well you see, rats are creatures of survival. Their bodies become immune to diseases, they learn to eat foods that would bring other animals to Dalanesca's doors, and most important of all survival aspects, they learn to escape danger such as fire." The man's eyes began to express fear, proving to Hagar that he was beginning to understand. "So, when placed in a heated container, the rat will do anything in it's power to escape. In this case that means burrowing through to the other side of your body, tearing through your intestines as it goes." Hagar lowered the lit torch down close to the container, and smiled a wicked smile as he heard the rat start to scamper around. "This will of course kill you, my friend. Now I can make this rat stop before all that nastiness happens but I'm going to need you to tell me where Silvertail's spy is." The man began to thrash around as the rat began to dig into his skin. It wasn't very long before the man's will gave out. "Alright I'll tell you where the spy is!"

Hagar lifted the container off the man, using his wolf pelt to protect his hand from burning on the hot metal. He then spoke to the rat. "Sorry for causing you fear my little friend. Your work is done here." The furry little critter hopped down off the man's stomach, scurrying away once it's feet touched the ground. Hagar shouted outside to Silvertail. "He's ready to talk!"

Silvertail was one of the few people that did not have a questioning room but she knew were plenty were including the captain's she just killed. Perhaps that she was not known to be very violent is why the guy was flightless. But as the reached smell of the tunnels filled the air he seemed to panic., trying to get lose and away from Vinsue's grasp. Wich resulted in anoying her into shocking him untell he stopped. By then Hagar had reached the bottom.

She put the guy down and looked at him half willling him to atempt to run but he did not. She than pushed him back into the hole. "Pirate in the hole" she shouted as she let go. And the guy screamed like he was going to die. She than rapped her face in a bandana to block out some of the smell befor climbing down a few steps and covering up the hole. She than climed down the rest of the way and at the bottom she held out her hand where a small fire formed.

Seeing her new helper had the guy she turned and started walking to where she wanted to be. A few side tunnels later she stepped at a door made to both keep things in and out. The flag of one of the lords were painted on it and she smiled. The momeries of this place should have been horrible as of what it was but she remembered giving the men a run for there coin. She let the flame out as she turned the ship lock like handle than pulled. Than walked inside after the others were in than closed the door and relit her hand fire before going around the room lighting the few torches in the room. Wich reviled some rather bone chilling questioning instruments. "Chain him up to the back wall. And see if you can get him to talk." She was testing him.

She wanted to know what he was capable of and if he really was on her side. Mainly because she knew all to well the filling of a knife to the back because she trusted the wrong person. She than walked to the door and outside before taking out a metal ring and tapped tge wall a few times and listened for a reply.

Silvertail walked over to the Captain and took his coins and valuables before she began to burn a brand of sorts into his chest. This intrigued Hagar. Silvertail hadn't demonstrated any elemental abilities during the combat, yet here she was controlling fire without so much as a blink. The woman was a mystery, and Hagar was determined to figure her out. There was something off about her, maybe it was her aura, but Hagar didn't know for sure. When the woman finished burning her brands into the men she had killed she instructed the one man left alive, who was now conscious again, to stand up. The man did as he was instructed to do and got to his feet. Without hesitation or even a little bit of struggle, Silvertail grabbed the man and draped him over her shoulder. This act of strength made Hagar even more curious about the woman he was currently with. Even for someone as muscular as she was, lifting a man of his side should have taken some effort,  but she acted as if he was as light as a feather. Before Hagar could examine Silvertail further, she strode off out of the alley, with Hagar following quickly in her footsteps.

As the two made their way through the town no one even gave them a second look. Typically a person packing someone over their shoulder in the way that Silvertail was would have been reason for great excitement and intrigue; yet, everyone in this town acted as if it was totally normal. Hagar thought about it and realized that in this place it may very well be a normal occurrence. The odd couple continued walking until they came to a manhole covering a sewer entrance. The shaman realized right away what Silvertail's plan was and, after being asked to, removed the lid from the manhole. "Allow me to go first." Hagar said as he lowered himself down onto the sewer ladder "When I reach the bottom you can toss the man down to me so that you can climb down."

Hagar began making his way down the ladder. The scent of the sewers, which was worse than any number of rotten eggs, assaulted his nose as he lowered himself down the ladder. He could hear the steady trickle of the sewer water below and could make out the sounds of rats scurrying about as well. The presence of rats was a good thing. It meant that he could call on the small hordes of the furry little critters if the need should arise. Hagar stepped down onto a concrete path that rose just slightly above the excruciatingly vile water that streamed through the sewers. He looked up above and called out to Silvertail, "I'm at the bottom! Go ahead and drop the man down in here, I will catch him!" He continued staring up at the light coming through the manhole above, patiently waiting for Silvertail to drop the man down into the depths where the shaman was waiting.

She looked around with out expression as she seen the death toll and returned her eyes to the captain than bent over and took his coins and anything worth a coin before she held her hand up and fire like electricity formed in a line. She than turned her hand and placed it a few inches to the right of his heart. He twitched but she only removed her hand when the mark was well burnt in him than webt to the other two she atacked and repeated the process. Just placeing her mark on there left hands. She only did that to the ones she over powdered and not the ones he killed or atacked.

She than walked to the man she instruted to live and stood him up than placed him over hrt back like one may carry a dead deer. "You make it sound simple." She said as she started walking. She knew two places to get answers: the first is a bar, the second the only place your screams couldnot be tracked. She knew the pipe maze under the city better than most and desided to go there.

At the cover to a man hole she stopped. "Think you could oppen it?" She asked hopeing he would do just that. She was strong and had no trouble holding the man as they continued. Actually one may think the guy was not there or that he had no waite if they were not looking at him.

Hagar watched as Silvertail pushed her blade slightly harder into the captain's throat for speaking out against her. She had said that she could use the help of someone who wasn't known in this area, and Hagar was eager to assist in any way. A devious smile spread across the shaman's face when she said that he could have his fun with the men. They had done nothing to Hagar which meant that typically he would leave them alone, especially since he wasn't a definite criminal by any means, but they had wronged the woman he intended to help, which made them his enemies.

The shaman quickly drew his axes. He used the wooden handle of one to knock the man on his left unconscious before turning to the man on his right. Hagar chucked one of his axes at the man, which embedded itself in the skin of his forehead, dropping him to the ground immediately. This left only two conscious men, and one was under the blade of Silvertail. Hagar summoned a small clump of earth from the ground, compacting it into a solid ball of rock hard dirt before chucking it at the one man who was still upright. The clump connected with the man's stomach, causing him to kneel to one knee as he tried to regain his breath. As the man attempted to stand back up Hagar was willing the ball of earth to continue moving, directing it into the back of the man's head. The impact caused the man to lose consciousness, making him fall silently to the ground.

When Hagar finished with the lesser men he turned to where Silvertail was with the Captain. He saw a quick flash of metal before Silvertail stepped away from the captain, revealing gashes in his throat and arms. The man would bleed out, suffering until the end of his now shortened life. Silvertail was a woman who was not to be messed with, and she just made the fact very clear.  Hagar cleared his throat before speaking to the woman. "So now that that issue is dealt with, let's go find your spy."

Normally she would not kill as she was above that. She was better than that and had some respect for life and knew that there were lots of faits worce than death wich was something she much preferred to use on them. But she did hot have the time to dance with the scum and they did change her. She thought to him "i can use the help of someone the local people would not know" she thought to him and almost immediately wondered were the man got his threats from.

The men were not afraid of death nore did  they have anyone they cared for. And as if the captain could read her thoughts he laughed. "She doesn't have the parts to kill and if she did what do we have…" he stopped as she pressed her blade a little more into his throat. His answer ovious that he did not intend on talking.

"Only nock out the one on your left. The rest." Her thought turnd to voice as she smiled. "Have your fun." And gave him a few seconds to do that before quickly swinging her blade. As she stepped off of him. He noe had a new cut on his throat and on each arm. Not deep enough to immediately kill him but deep enough to kill him slowly over the next hour. "Never mess with Silvertail." She said with a victorious yet worning voice.

Hagar only had time to blink before it had all happened. The officer had finished speaking just before the woman known as Silvertail took down two of the men, tripped the officer, and put her sword to his throat. She demanded to know where her spy was but the officer didn't speak. Two men began to close in on her before she halted them by threatening to kill the officer.

Hagar began speaking to Silvertail telepathically. "Do you want me to kill the few remaining men? There's not many and I can do it easily if need be. However, I want to assist you in finding your spy if I do end their lives. I live to assist others. It is my sole purpose in life. So if you allow me to assist you I can end these men and we can get the info out of this officer." Hagar placed his hands on his axes and prepared to kill the men before him. Hopefully the woman would allow him to assist her in her endeavors, otherwise these kills will be in vain.

The shaman spoke to the man on the ground. "If you tell her where her spy is then you will all leave this place alive. However, I have the feeling that if you withhold the information none of you will see your families or friends ever again. This alleyway will be your final resting place and Silvertail will walk out of here alive, and she will find her spy one way or another." Hagar drew his axes from their straps on his belt and called over to Silvertail. "So Silvertail, what's your call? Am I gonna dance with these men or shall I hold on the bloodshed?"

"She may be an annoying son of a donkey but she is not a hardened criminal. No a hardened criminal kills without mercury and Silvertail well she has never killed. And normally we know not to mess with her but this time we got her spy." He spoke with a laugh.

Vinsue stepped out of the shadows as quick as lightning she brought two men down before nocking the sword from the leader and tripped him. She than stood on his arms with her sword to his throat. "I have my kills like you have yours just ask Raven what happened to his ship and men. Now were is my guy" she said most of it with a voice that sent chills bown may mens backs. "Come at me and he dies and you will be next." She said as she noticed another man step tword her. He stopped and so did the others.

Hagar listened with his mind's ears as the woman continued to speak to him through telepathy. "I am well aware that running with them and being hunted by them are different." Hagar replied "I've had the misfortune of being hunted by them as well." The shaman was about to continue speaking to the woman when a group of men suddenly rushed into the alleyway they were inhabiting. They shouted out for someone named Silvertail before assuring her that her fate would be painless if she cooperated. Hagar knew that if these men persisted in attempting to catch her their fate would not be the same.

Suddenly the woman's voice boomed throughout the alleyway. It sounded as if her voice was everywhere at once; seemingly seeping from the environment around them. Hagar made a mental note to ask her to teach him that trick, as it seemed a useful one to know. "Officer if I might intrude in the matter at hand for just a moment." Hagar interrupted.   "I was just here meditating so I don't know what's going on here, but from the sound of it this Silvertail woman is a formidable foe, as well as a hardened criminal. I've tangled with plenty of criminals in my time and I have a strange feeling that this encounter isn't going to end well for you if you continue to attempt to capture this woman you call Silvertail. Also, in the off chance that she shows herself, I have to refuse to assist since you so rudely barged in on my meditation."  Hagar's lips curled into a half grin as he lowered his hands down near his axes. He had a feeling that things were about to get interesting.

She only smiled for a split second. "Running with outlaws was different than being hunted by them." She thought to him. But it did not truthfully matter. If the guy had a death wish as he seemed to have than why try to stop him. As he assured her he did not see a message she almost cursed. She could read he was telling the truth as telepathy oppened up more than speech if one had the practice and she did not see a message eather so she assumed it indicated it was a trap and there was no message. She did not think his joke was funny and only ignored it. She closed her eyes as she tryed to since others in the close aria
She sinced 6 others but not in time to excape, not that she planned on running. "Thanks for the offer but time has ran out." She thought to him. Just before one of the guys emerged from one the alleyway doors. He was an ovious captain who had too much food. Vinsue grabed the handle of her sword as she slowly took stance. "We know your here Silvertail." The man said looking around but not at Hagar. "Come out, and we will make this as painless as possible."

Vinsue used an old trick a friend tought her years ago. She spoke but her voice came from everywhere "you give up now and ill forget this encounter, if not well you already know."

Hagar stood still as he listened to the woman speak to him inside his head. She assured him that she feared nothing and no one, which made Hagar all the more curious about his mysterious company. He wondered what skills or secrets he woman possessed that made her so confident that she could supposedly live without fear. Hagar could understand not fearing other people or beasts, but everyone had a fear, regardless of how deeply they keep it buried within themselves.

When the woman stepped from the shadows and revealed herself to Hagar he became even more confused. Though the majority of her features were cloaked in darkness, she looked like any average person he would meet on the road, which mean she definitely had some hidden ability, Hagar just didn't know what. He decided to play it safe around this woman regardless. The shaman was plenty confident in his own abilities, but he had no clue what this woman might be hiding up her sleeve. When she said that she remained hidden for his safety and not hers Hagar couldn't help but chuckle a little. "No disrespect to you ma'am" the shaman stated telepathically "but I've ran with criminals before. Many of whom had decent bounties on their heads. I've survived every encounter I've been in thus far so i doubt being seen with you is going to lower my odds of survival."

The woman then asked if Hagar had seen any sort of message while he was cleaning up the alley they were currently standing in. Hagar didn't recall seeing a message, and he typically had a great memory and a sharp eye, so he assumed she was in the wrong place. "I can't say that I recall seeing any kind of message," Hagar started "unless bird dung counts." The shaman let out a mighty laugh and hoped his joke would lighten the lady up a bit. She was far too serious for his laid back nature, and it was unsettling him a little. He decided that since the two had already met he could at least help her find her message. He channeled his energy once more to allow for further telepathic communication. "I'll tell ya what. Since you brought my meditation to a halt, and since you seem like you could use some help finding this message, I'll tag along and help you search for it. How's that sound?" Hagar waited patiently to hear her response in his head.

"How far away from you can you since? A sword may not do damage but i know a few knife throwers and trust me they are not fun. Even a fly 3 building away had no chance. " She said than dropped the matter. If he wants to test his luck than she was not going to stand in the way. But she did smile as he talked. If only he knew what she was talking to a fire breather. She knew well the nonphysical senses.

"Your right I do not fear you. I fear nothing and no one. Like wise I am hidden for your sake not mine. But if you must see me look to your right in the corner. In the darker shadow. Being spotted near me will make you a target for the worst people here." She took a step forward folded her arms and stepped back further into the shadow.

"My question is simple. You cleaned the alleyway to meditate or at least I assume you did. You did not see a message as you did so did you? Kind of important famaly stuff." Ok she did break a unsaid rule. If you have family you never minton it but since he was new and only he could hear her she let it slide.

Hagar was deep in meditation, conversing with some giants in another plane of existence, when he sensed someone in the alley way with him in his realm. The shaman slowly returned back to his conscious state in his plane of existence so that he could focus on whoever was around him. He heard no footsteps or breathing but he could detect the other person's life-force. He knew that the citizens of this place were skilled in stealth so he figured that's why he didn't hear anything.

Hagar sat perfectly still, waiting for his company in the alleyway to reveal themselves. He was just about to turn around to see who it was when he heard a voice in his head telling him not to be afraid, before commenting about how this wasn't a good spot for meditation. Hagar used his telepathic abilities to speak with the other person. "I have no reason to panic." Hagar began "I've known you were here since you first arrived. I could detect your life force as soon as you first arrived. As for the fact that this isn't a safe spot for meditation, I'm well aware. However, I do not fear the possibility of dying in this place, for I would detect their life force just as I detected yours. That is the advantage of using more than just your physical senses."

The shaman slowly began standing up, making sure to keep his hands close to his axes. He began communicating telepathically once again as he rose to his feet. "You told me not to panic, so I assume that you mean no harm. I mean you no harm either, and would prefer to avoid conflict. So now allow me to be the one to say do not panic, though judging by your willingness to communicate with me, I figure you don't fear me anyway." Hagar moved his hands away from his axe to show that he wanted to remain peaceful. "You said that you have a question. I might have an answer, but first I would like you to show yourself to me." The shaman declared boldly.

Vinsue usually waited tell dark to come into town but today she had a message hidden in the city or at least that was what a friend had signaled her last night. Within the walls she knew everyone that lives there. But everyone was considered an enemy as with the price on her head as high as it was you can not trust anyone that did not owe you there life. But then if you are in her debt you let no one know in order to keep your head. Since she knew that she knew it could be a trap and remained somewhat couscous.

She made her way through town allie ways in her human form that the locales called Silvertail. The hood of her brown robe covered her bleached bone colored hair and most of her skin. She had her sword sheathed on her hip because she prefers to use it not that she needed it.

She stopped as she found the alleyway the message was said to be hidden in. Funniest thing was it was cleaned up and had a man in it. He probably was the one to clean it but she was not the one to stop a meddling session. She looked around quietly for a few minutes before leaning against the wall.

After a while she started to grow impatient and oppened her mind to talk to the man. "Do not panic." She always said that first knowing how panicky the two-leggeds are. "Do not mean to introduce but i have a question to ask you. Also you look new here so i will let you in in a secret. This is not the place to meditate as everyone here is skilled at killing without making a sound. There are some nice places out pf town that are really good for meditating." She thought to him carfull to stay out of sight.

Hagar walked quietly through the streets, keeping his hands on his axes in case the need for combat should arise. He had never been to this city before but he was looking for a new experience. Although he was used to traveling in the wilds, he was ready to see what sorts of experiences would raise their heads in this town of vagabonds and thieves.

Hagar turned onto a different street that was a little less populated than some of the others in this town. Dark alleys cut across the street like strands of a spider's web, and the shaman knew that he would end up like the helpless fly if he wasn't careful. He spotted some people lurking in one of the alleys but they quickly withdrew into the darkness when they spotted the axes hanging from his hips. The shaman continued walking along, waiting on something eventful to happen, but sadly, nothing did. It wasn't long before he found himself in a dark alley way, alone with his axes and his thoughts.

Hagar saw this moment as the perfect opportunity to meditate. He needed practice meditating in dangerous areas so that he could summon his energy more effectively in moments of need, even if he couldn't find a safe place to do so. He knew that by staying in the alley he was leaving himself open to harm during his meditation, but he had nothing better to do, and he never turned down the opportunity to meditate. The shaman began by cleaning up some litter that lay scattered along the alleyway. He absolutely could not meditate in a messy environment, he had tried to before and couldn't focus his energy on anything but the clutter. After clearing the alley of trash Hagar said some chants to draw on the energy around the area. Now that he had cleaned and consecrated the area, he could finally begin his meditation.

Hagar sat down in the middle of the alleyway and closed his eyes. He slowed his breathing to a 4 beat rhythm and kept track of his pulse as his heartbeat slowed as well. When his body was in the perfect harmony that was required for meditation he began to chant once more. "Hail the gods and goddesses of the lands. Hail my ancestors who came before me. Hail the spirits of the lands. Hail the wolf, my mighty spirit animal." Hagar chanted until his mind drifted out of conscious thought, and his spirit began to wander.
