How long had it truly been since he had set foot onto the grounds of Revaliir?

Time had seemed irrelevant to the god that still was fresh into his domains and yet it felt as though Xunatar belonged where he rightfully should. But there was only so much boredom he could take from remaining in his home and overseeing those that wish for his audience. Perhaps that's why he abruptly left the Cradle and found himself in the city of pirates. Vilpamolan had often provided one with a sense of danger and mystery and to be frank, it was really his type of city because of such wonderful features. It was midday as he arrived, walking the crowded streets of man. He was smart though- Xunatar had no intention of giving himself away by any means so instead of walking amongst  the people, he walked as one of them.

His hair was an auburn color that reached his jawline, his eyes now hosted a brilliant green color and he wore the cloth of the common- green and brown robes and pants, sturdy gloves and black boots. His skin was tanned instead of flawless ivory to show that he was a working man instead of demonic royalty, complete with a five o' clock shadow. To his side was a blade sheathed, and to the average person, it seemly looked like one that belonged to a warrior or perhaps even a guardsman but like the rest of him, not everything was what it seemed. It held a wicked power, but he had no intention of using it unless provoked. His eyes skimmed about, watching the people go on with their daily business, but he had taken notice of a group of men near the harbor. Obviously he could see that they were a bunch of pirates which didn't seem out of place, but what did was a rather small container that they seemed to fiercely guard.  There were four of them- two stood in front of the others as if they were guarding, one of the remaining two actually held the container close to him and the other was speaking to him, apparently giving orders. He watched as the group swiftly moved from the harbor and took off towards the inn close by. Xunatar smiled a bit, masking his intentions with the gang and their little secret as he waited a bit before following their trail towards the building. Whatever was inside that box, he wanted it purely for the sake of learning why it seemed that important to them.

Entering inside, he smelled for their dreadful stench; honestly he couldn't fathom why some of the most feared men in history couldn't do so much to control their hygiene. Perhaps that only added to their intimidation, one could only think. Shrugging, the man went towards the front desk and after paying the attendant a generous amount of coin, received his key and room. It was more of a means of a cover for him rather than actual use. Soon he followed the smell upstairs and located their room. After making sure that no one was around, he pressed his ear against the door and listened to bits and pieces of the pirates arguing.

"I tell ya, the blasted thing is somewhere in the city. Perhaps the sewers underneath even."

"Ya daft fool, that ain't no place to kept it! We have two days to find it before its gone for good."

Xunatar's brows narrowed as they continued bickering until he heard the sounds of footsteps coming towards the door from the other side. With haste, he moved away and pretended to go into his room, only to see one of the guards from before poke his head out and look both ways before slamming the door shut. A bothered sigh slipped from his lips before he changed his route towards back downstairs. He went into the lobby and merely waited in one of the lavish couches there for the fools to come. They were on a deadline and he would see to it that he would know when they would departure.
