Miyuki could not deny the beauty of Revaliir. Now that she is no longer single-mindedly out for revenge, the kitsune had the chance to finally appreciate that which she saw. Haku had chosen to stay here of all places, which left her somewhat curious as to why. She was truly trying to fall into the rhythm of his lifestyle. Yet, it was when she was spending long hours in a meditative training session that she felt at most at ease.

Everything changed for the kitsunes, however, when a buzzing creature, a violet insect, landed on Miyuki. It bit her and she swatted it with irritability. Miyuki fell ill afterward. Achy, tired, difficulties breathing due to a stuffy nose. What concerned everyone around her most, however, was the fact that she was becoming mentally unstable. She would jump and scream if a cat so much as poked its nose into her vision. The flapping of bat wings would make her shudder. It was even difficult for Haku to even approach her.

One day, she spat the words “White Demon” at him before storming out of the house. Miyuki started heading north that day, with Haku hot on her heels. The White Demon was following her, out to complete the job of killing all heirs from her father. She was at the edges of the Valley of Vada when she saw it. A clowder of cats hissed at her as they swarmed her and a colony of bats swooped toward her. Miyuki screamed as she batted at her hair, breaking into a full run as she darted unheedingly into the dangerous valley.
