Character Info
Name: Vallano
Age: 29
Alignment: TN
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Class: The Law
Silver: 578
The mottled brown and white stallion that Vallano rode was a sturdy beast. Strong enough to carry several goods and items in saddlebags, as well as Vallano himself and his prize, a man slung over the back of the horse on his stomach like a sack of grain, bound by his hands and feet. The man went by the monicker 'Virian Hirth', and though Vallano had been curious initially as to whether it was his real name or a fake name of sorts, the sheriff was now well past caring considering all that had transpired for him to have finally caught the man. Virian shuffled and struggled in his bonds and his gags, but all that it ended up being was some muffled sounds and wriggling around.

It was soon time for Vallano to set up camp and so he stopped his horse and went through the process. He had already gathered some wood and it was not long before he had a fire going, he removed Virian's gag and force fed him the sleeping tincture, which soon had the outlaw unconscious. He did not want to talk to the man, not anymore, and he didn't want any distractions. He had seen the horses when he first left, though he hadn't seen them in a couple of days but he knew they were still out there. Virian's gang, He had counted only seven, though he was sure there were at least a dozen. He couldn't fight them all, and so he had to stay ahead of them and ensure Virian got back to town where he would face the law and likely be hanged.

He would be in town by the next day if all went according to plan, but his stallion was exhausted, and he wasn't too energetic himself. A bit of rest and they'd be on their way. He laid his sword across his lap and took a bite out of a piece of dried jerky and laid his sword across his lap, staring at the setting sun and contemplating his options.
Trinity

Character Info
Name: Trinity
Age: Eternally 20
Alignment: CE
Race: Vampire
Gender: Female
Class: Knight
Silver: 307
She hadn’t expected for her master to release her into the outside world so soon, but it was like the lord had said, she needed to become aware of this new realm. Too long had Trinity had been cooped up in his lair and she’s been itching to see what she’s been missing. These lands seemed so familiar and yet there was enough of a difference for her to recognize as she trekked through the rolling hills. It felt rather nice to feel the grass and mud beneath her boot again. The cold breeze blew at the woman as the sun settled down for the eve to come. This was the time that her kind thrived on as the dark hours crept up. A toothy smile flashed out before lifting her head to sniff out anyone nearby.

She needed to hunt and knock off the rust from gods knew how long she was kept within the cathedral. While her new lord kept her safe, he also kept a predator from doing what normally came to her- the bloodlust, the thrill of chasing down prey and the satisfaction of the kill. Sniffing about for a while, she finally got a whiff of a couple of humans to the west and she was off towards their direction.

The closer she made it to them, the more Trinity felt something stir inside her. It took a bit before she realized that it was excitement that coursed through her blood. To the common eye, she would appear to be another armed wanderer with two bastard swords sheathed on her back. As they came into view, her haste slowed into a prowl as she caught sight of one man resting while another was bounded. Using the approaching darkness as cover, she circled about until she was ever so close to the bounded one, barely sliding a finger against his cheek like that of a ghost before quietly making her way to the one with the sword.

“Is he your prisoner?”, she asked, coming into his sight now. He would put up much more of a fight and get her blood boiling. The vampire threw a lovely grin his way as she over back to the other man. “Hostage, maybe? In any case, the poor thing doesn’t look like he can fight, much less escape out of those restraints. I mean, just about anything could happen to him before long…”

Race: Human (Light-Touched)

Aerei is a traveler. On his way to the Great City of Mamlak, he trekked through the Highlands. It was the dead of night and he had to move on foot. In conclusion, he was exhausted. Perhaps a brief nap wouldn't be so bad,Serei thought. He lay down on the grassy plain and gazed at the night sky. As he began to close his eyes, he heard jeering and felt a demonic presence nearby. Perhaps a bandit? Aerei wondered. Impossible. No ordinary bandit could radiate an aura of evil like that. Sighing from loss of his nap, he got to his feat, attached his rapier to his hip, and threw his cloak over himself. "Is anyone there?" He cried out, taking a step towards the voice in the darkness.

There's A Spark Of Good In Everyone.

Vallano had another stick of jerky as he sat there, watching the sun as it went all day way below the horizon and into a slumber. He would have to sleep soon himself, which was always rendered more difficult by not having someone else to be on watch for him. He missed having a partner, but those days were behind him. He drifted off momentarilky, dozing for little over an hour until he awoke with just a slight start. Virian was still there, bound and unconscious, where he needed to be.

Not too long after waking and reviewing how long before he got to town, Vallano felt a cold sweat run down the side of his face and tensed up immediately. All his senses went on edge and it was like the world quieted around him. Years of survival training and wandering the wilderness alone had sharpened him to a specialized degree. Someone was close by. He remained still, feigning lack of awareness as his hand moved to the sheath of his sword, he thought better of it, and instead drew the small 3-inch dagger hidden in his wrist sheathe. His eyes flicked to the side and rested on the figure until it was finally revealed to a female… something? Well armed as well, but that wasn't surprising out here.

She wasn't one of the bandits following him, he was quite sure of that. He hadn't seen her with them, and if she was one of them she likely wouldn't be saying anything before attacking him or carrying Virian off. He steadied his heartbeat as he stared at the woman, gripping his concealed dagger tightly, but not moving from his sitting position. Despite the dark, it was not difficult to make out a pair of abnormally sharp canines in her mouth. He glanced at Virian as he sat unconscious, then back to the woman. He was not sure what she meant by her statement, and could not help but take it as a threat, albeit a seemingly playful one.

"He is my prisoner," Vallano said to the woman, "wanted for several crimes. He is to be delivered to town where he will face the courts justice. Until then", Vallano narrowed his eyes at her, as if to emphasize his point. "Nothing will happen to him as long as I am still alive."

The man that seemed to be in charged of the two held his position even with her intrusion. My, this was a strong willed one and it brought amusement to the corner of her lips. Trinity refrained from sudden movements for now since she was sure that to him, she’d be a mere stranger. Although coming out here in the middle of the night was fairly suspicious unless there was a motive behind it might had been his mindset. But when she ignored his outer appearance and paid heed to the pacing of his heartbeat, she could see that he was possibly expecting something dangerous out of this situation. To which if he had thought that to be true, then he’d be correct.

Her gaze went to his eyes at first but then pulled away back to the one he guarded. A man of the law? How…rich. The painted smile didn’t waiver nor did his comments bother her in the least. But it would make for an even more interesting night should things turn south. However, her lord had told her to tread very carefully- she was still recovering from the effects of the Timedeath and she wasn’t completely hundred percent. Against an average person, killing and feeding from them would have been no problem. Against someone she assumed was skilled enough such as the lawman, that was more questionable. Far too much for her to really test, but it didn’t mean that she wouldn’t have a bit of fun with him. Trinity lowered herself before Virian and ran a nail against his neck, digging into flesh just enough to to have a trinket of blood spill before placing it to her mouth.

“I wouldn’t be too sure of that. In this realm, anything is possible. Why it could that the one you have isn’t the real Virian for all anyone knows. Could be a decoy after all.” An amused chuckle softly sprung out before she climbed back up to her feet in time to hear someone calling out from the depths of the night. “Another lovely wanderer?”, she spoken, tilting her head in play before walking away from the others. Her fangs desired more blood, she could feel the want aching at her to have just a little bit more.

Or alot.

Vallano had heard something, but it wasn't very loud and he didn't make it out. However he was now certain there was at least one other person here other than the two of them. Was the third party with the woman? Maybe, but if so, why risk giving away their position now? Vallano watched quietly until the woman approached Virian's unconscious body. He visibly twitched when she drew blood from him, her actions now having crossed the line from suspicious harassment to outright assault. He tried not to express how uncomfortable it made him to watch her taste the blood. He immediately rose to his feet in one very fluid and graceful motion some might not expect he was capable of by taking a look at him.

Vallano moved himself forward, placing himself as a direct human shield between the woman and his quarry, Virian. He didn't know how she knew his name and was in no condition or mood to try to find out.

He stabbed his scabbard into the earth point first and there it stuck without requiring his assistance to remain upright. It pointed out of the ground between him and the female creature like some sort of holy cross. He had one hand by his side, still holding his dagger, and placed the other hand on the hilt of his weapon, ready to draw it from the scabbard which would remain still stuck into the ground after he had done so. "I am no master of magics or the dark arts, nor am I knowledgeable in any of these. I know not what you are, demon, but no powers in the heavens above or the hells below can stop the rule of law." He didn't know what she was, but in his lifetime he had learned there were very few creatures that could not be killed by cutting it's head off. "If you attempt to get in the way of this man facing the right justice, I will send you back in pieces to whatever disgusting hell spat you out."
