Seeing that the caravan would not be moving for a wile with a few well weakend and many of the wagons toasted beyond moveable, Turas-adhair desided to make sure the aria was clear of do gooders and other outsiders that may remain her fun. She got up and used shadow cast to say unseen and switched to her human form. Staying on the higher ground she walked south a half mile to find the path empty than walked north a little over 2 miles than climed down into the road.

She dropped all active spells except the one keeping her in an human form. She had a katana from her belt and a travelers robe with her hood down. The sun was low and her shoes covered in dust by time the caravan had came back into veiw. Her skin dark and hair in berades over halfway down her back.

Once she realized that everyone was gathered and all that she walked up to the group as she looked at the damage of flame and blood and asked. "What happened here?" Her voice a bet shocked and concerned. Though she could care less and enjoyed it she was getting good at playing insistent stranger.

Larka was dancing, there few other words to describe her style of swordplay, using the long reach of the whip like sword to keep the wolves at bay.  She was really trying not to kill them, but only wound them enough so that they would give up and leave.  She kept wounding them, but they had managed to work together a couple times and divide her attention enough to get a strike in, she had gashes on her legs and one more on the left side of her belly and all were oozing blood.  Her leather armour had helped however, the claws marks could have been worse.

But with those wounds she became stronger and further able to react to what the wolves were doing, never seeing the strange wolf rummage through some packages and steal off with some items.  She heard the odd howl however and that seemed to have an affect on the wolves attacking the caravan, they stopped and turned their ears to the noise before backing away slowly and finally taking off away at full speed.  "The fuck was that about?"  Larka questioned, something else was going on here.

Sighing, the Reaver sheathed her blade and went back to help those that needed it.  The fires were out, but a lot had been lost, a few people had bad burns and one man was in bad shape from the wolves attacking the front of the caravan.  The man who had been driving Larka's wagon was unharmed though very tired when she found him.  "Lass, that was no normal wolf attack, was it?"  He questioned.

"No, I know wolves, that wasn't normal for them to attack a group our size.  Something else is going on here, but we need to tend to our own first."  She replied helping him as best she could to get things back in order.

Turas-adhair was sure the people were two bussy to notice her. Now she carfully ran to a cart without a guard and started digging through its contents.there was a lot of verry enteresting things but she desided to take two of the most valuable things.

She managed to hawl as she ran off. Basically the pack should disperse and go to what they were doing but than again they were now mad do to some of the pack getting hurt. She hid and dug a hole that she would drop the treasurs in and cover over before walking to a different location and laying down. She would not move untell atacked ir the caravan started moving again..

When the spell was cast over them the wolves shuddered and seem confused, they were simple wild animals, they did not know what had come over them.  While that meant they may not realize what had happened to them, that didn't mean they weren't faster.  Larka saw them all shuddered and narrowed her eyes, what had happened then?  Something else was afoot here she could tell, but what she had no idea.  Why would a pack of wild wolves attack a caravan that had this many people on it?  A lone person, or even a pair, maybe, but such a large group?  No, something was off.

She took once glance back to see that the others were having trouble with the fires, but there was nothing that Larka could do to help, but she cold also see three more wolves closing in from the front of the caravan.  Again, there was nothing she could do with the group that was already around her at the moment.  One of the wolves leaped at her and Lark made to dodge but the added speed to the wolves caught her off guard and the beast managed to slash her across the back.  Larka groaned with the pain but the wound caused her muscles to tighten as her Reaver abilities kicked in, with each wound she would grow stronger and stronger.

Eyes hard Larka lashed out at the wolf, knowing the rest would soon attack seeing her wounded now.  Her sword wrapped around the wolf's leg and she pulled dragging the beast back to the ground she flicked the blade to get it off the wolf's leg.  She spun and managed to strike another wolf across the face forcing it back with a howl of pain.

Turas-adhair watched the wolfs as they fought against a one armed two-legged. She was not happy at the fact that the young wolf was hurt by the man's whip like sword.  She may not be able to help it but she could help the pack. She cast the lesser agility spell on them which would only make them faster and more agile. As she grew bored of the fight she turned to watch the fire and the people attempting to put it out. She smiled at it thinking that food would make it better. She was far from done though and fueled the fire making the water evaporate quickly after it touched the wood.

She howled again making the group more on edge as 3 more wolves came and started attacking some of the camels near the front of the caravan. She was enjoying her self and the havoc she had caused.

After a while the leader of the caravan called a halt to water the animals and get them fed, so it was a chance for Larka to hop down from the wagon she had been on and stretch her legs out. She was taller than most of the males here and with one arm missing she stood out. With a bored yawn she went to reach for her backpack again but then something went streaking past and the wagons were suddenly on fire. Larka grabbed her pack and got it out of the way before she went to help the driver splash water from some of the stores. There was panic from end of the caravan to the other as they as orders were yelled and people used whatever water they could to help dose the fires.

As Larka was helping her mind went back to that thing she saw, it must have started the fires, whatever the hell it was. She caught looked to the driver who was looking past her at something and when Larka looked she could see a small pack of about eight or so large wolves coming towards them. “Ah hell.” She grumbled. “Stay with the fire, I'll handle them.” Larka said as she stepped away and towards the oncoming wolves as she drew her sword.

The Reaver took a few deep breaths, fighting beasts wasn't like fighting men, animals were unpredictable to a point, were as many humanoids could be read like a book. As the beasts came closer they slowed down some and started to spread out as Larka flicked her wrist and her sword's blade broke into many pieces, all linked by flexible metal wires making it a kind of whip sword. Smiling to herself the Reaver started to spin the blade at her side getting momentum built up as the wolves closed in.

One of the smaller wolves grew impatient and lunged at her while she faced him. Larka flinched to ones side and lashed out with her blade, gashing the wolf's side easily as it went past her. Blood spilled from the wounded beast as it howled and dropped to the ground as it tried to skid to a halt from its charge. Before any of the others could move Larka lashed out again snapped her blade like a whip, cracking the air startling the simple beasts. She loved wolves, she didn't want to kill them, she had one raised a puppy of her own, but he had long since passed, but he had lived many years beyond what a normal wolf would have.

The wounded wolf stepped back for now out of the fight while it licked its wounds, but now the rest of the beasts were rather angry at the one armed human. She was keeping them at bay for now with the reach she had from her weapon but they'd wait for an opening.

Turas had lated in wait for a harder pray. Seeing the caravan she switched forms to that of a black wolf. She followed them untell they stopped. She howled and ran past the resting caravan. Other wolfs howled back.

As the thin wolf ran past the wills of the wagons cault flame. She kept running past the group as tp kep from actually being in attacking range.

She than turned and seamed to have vanished. Though she had only used allusions to move to a safer place to watch the people try and put out the fire.

They left the city of Adeluna almost a week before arrive to the Highlands and it had thankfully been an easy trip. The caravan that was travelling and trading it's way North consisted of ten wagons, each with either one or two mules or donkeys pulling it, along with a dozen people who worked the caravan itself. Plus, the hired guards, Larka being one of them, and she stood out among the otherwise male guards, add in the missing arm and she was certainly the black sheep in the bunch. Larka was used to it of course, she ignore them and their stared and jeers, when a fight broke out she would prove herself then to them, not before. It had been tempting to put them in their place at the outset and put down the biggest of them outright, but that would have been boring. It was more fun for her to have them watch her do her thing and then know that, if they had messed with her, they would have paid for it.

But, it hadn't been easy to convince the leader of the caravan to hire her, given what she had to work with and the fact that she wasn't known to anyone being new to the lands. But Larka had persisted and he had reluctantly hired her, but she'd get paid at the end of the job and not before. He would hire new guards to head further North from the Highlands so he'd have fresh fighters just in case. That was fine with the Reaver and she was assigned to the last of the carts, so she was sitting on the back of it watching the new world go past her.

She had been here now for a just about two weeks, but she was in desperate need of money to get herself settled before she could really make a hard to push to look for Celeste. So back to the life she had always known as a mercenary, it felt right in some ways to come back to such a life. She removed a canteen from her backpack which was sitting next to her and took a drink, which caught the attention of the driver of the cart. “Boss man don't like you drinking on the job.” Larka glanced back to him and caught his eyes and grinned holding the canteen back to him, he took it and poured a mouthful of the rum into him before handing it back. “'Course, you need to be drinking for that to matter.”

Larka smiled to herself as she placed the canteen back in its place, so far it had been uneventful in the trip. But Larka's gut said that that wouldn't last, he wouldn't have hired as many guards as he had if he wasn't expecting trouble. But, it was easy money so far if they didn't get attacked, but Larka was kinda hoping they were, at least by something she was actually capable of killing. If a giant attacked then she'd be useless, but, if some humanoids attacked, well, it would hopefully give her a chance to cut loose. She hadn't been able to since being cramped on the ship that brought her here, she was actually itching for a fight, more so now that she had had her Reaver powers topped up with the concoction not too long ago.
