Well, the place was not alone, just as Silanus expected. He was expecting some lonely, homeless old native hiding from the other tribes, however. When he saw a 6 feet tall woman he was quite surprised, as he was used to… Shorter women. In fact, she was taller than him; his people were not very tall, that´s why they usually refer to the native of the Highlands as "giants". That, however, did not intimidate him. Infact, this curiosity made them laugh. Medium sized people subjugating giants, how ironic.
Atleast this woman didn´t seem aggressive, perhaps neutral? She did not know him, of course. If she would, the woman would most probably refer to him more respectuosly, or try to kill him. It depended on where she was from; Silanus´ bet was that the woman was a native from some Highland tribe, since she was very tall, had a weapon as big as an arm (Maybe bigger, it depends) and had red hair, something quite usual in these lands.
What a strange meeting, was it a threat or what? "Who, on his sane mind, would search for a treasure in a poorly hidden chasm? Atleast not me, a Fratian both general and soon-to-be emperor of a reign that will one day siege…" Silanus stopped talking, as he realised that such a long introduction was needless. Instead, the general spoke once again, but this time it was not an introduction: "BUT, the skirt on my armor is not long enough and I forgot my thick leather pants, instead I got those thin, useless wool pants. I´m practically freezing down here, so… Fire would be useful, atleast for a swift rest, if you´d call it like that."
Without any kind of permission or consent, Tacitus Silanus stepped in, sitting on a log near the fire. He removed his heavy helmet, furred steel bracers and simply stayed there, as if he was waiting for something.
