Rip and Tear, until there is nothing left!

Ah, to be back among her people and fight along side them! All of what she had been through in the weeks leading up to the invasion, the intel she had sent back to her people and their allies, the torture she had suffered at the hands of those so called 'gods'. All of it had led to these moments, and it was all worth it. Yes, things weren't going completely as planned for the invading army, the Gods seemed to be getting a little stronger as time went on, the earthquakes were an issue and those rods were attracting some of their reinforcements.

But those forces on the ground were still making headway where they could, using their numbers as best they could. Drones and Ferals were disposable to a limited degree, the Hive could replace them quickly. But ones like Sharifa, the Elites and Warriors of the Hive, they weren't as easily replaced, but then again, they weren't that easy to kill either.

After escaping from her prison shed in Endapano Sharifa had made her way back South and managed to evade capture again. She linked up with a battalion of Ants who used their stronger hive mind to relay her location to her own Wasp kin through other Ants. After that Sharida relayed everything new she had gathered as far as intelligence on the local defends she knew to the Ant battalion, and once the Ants knew that information spread like wildfire through the invaders.

Her wings healed Sharifa had found her own kin, once she was within range of their hive mind it was simple to locate their exact location. Among her own for the first time in months she quickly got caught up on the progress made so far while getting herself fitted out with new armour. The chitin armour she was now wearing was created from hardened beetle chitin, she would have rather used Wasp chitin but she had to admit that Beetles were stronger in that regard. She also got herself another set of four daggers, a new ethereal bow, some throwing stars and a new buckler. The Wasp woman had also picked up two sets of beetle horn tonfas that were lying around, and two stinger rapiers, a set of weapons she was very familiar with.

It was the tonfas she was using at the moment as her battalion pushed the attack towards the city. Sharifa had been on the front lines and was still there, covered in blood from the defenders. She had managed to fly up top one of the war elephants that the defenders were using. Some of the huge Beetles were able to help fight them off, but Shar was now up on top of one attacking the riders directly. She used all four of her tonfas, spinning the heavy weighted weapons around to block and attack, able to overwhelm the enemy with a flurry of attacks. She knocked them over the head in turn and with the riders taken care of, Sharifa turned to the beast itself.

More than once she had just barely managed to avoid having it grasp her with its trunk, which would have ended poorly. Now able to focus on the beast itself the Wasp woman sheathed her tonfas and drew her rapiers and stabbed the back of the elephant a few times making it trumpet in pain. It flailed trying to take her off but she used her lower arms to hold her in place while she kept attack. Blood flowed down its flanks and covered Shar more than before as she buzzed off of the beast until the air, wings brilliant in the sun light.

With beast wounded the Wasp moved in for the kill, getting around the side of its head to come up under its face. There she used both rapiers and rammed them to the hilts into the beast's throat cutting arteries. She removed her blades and got out of the way as large amounts of blood spurted from the wounds, she got even more on her just as she flew away. The elephant trumpeted again as it staggered around, attempted to charge but had turned to face its allies and trampled some of them instead. It finally fell to the ground dead as Sharifa landed on the ground, sheathed her rapiers and drew her tonfas again looking for her next line of attack. Information was constantly fed to her from her kin around her, and they were getting information directly from Ants and Beetles as well, the whole invasion army was well organized if nothing else. All of their units were on display in this attack, Wasps, Ants, Beetles and Mantis were out in force, they wanted this city!
