The Dryad's attemp to calm Silanus were in vain; he was now in an unhinged condition, blinded by brute rage. "
You ARE a nymph. You ARE a goddess. And YOU didn't protect your devotee from a wicked, sinful cryomancer and his PET!" he exclaimed, his words full of fury. "
Not even an hour since we met and I saved both of your LIVES. And THIS is my reward?!?!"" Although his magical mana was running low, his malign outrage allowed him to keep attacking. If it was not for the stone wall, his three foes would have been turned to ashes almost inmediately.
As Silanus attacked, he saw a brown sphere flying towards him. Mud?! Without hestitation, he slashed the ball and cut it on half… Nevertheless, the enchanted mud splashed all over him. The sleeping spell was weakened, but it still made the general feel drowsy and lethargic. "
Is… This a joke? M-mud? How… Funny…!" He said, with an exhausted voice, yet full of indignation. "
I swear, in the name of my Ancestors…"
Silanus' limbs felt heavier. His lack of energy was doubled by the remnant of the dryad's spell. His sword felt ten times heavier, too. Nonetheless, his infurated psyche still remained. "
You… Cryomancer…" A malign grin was drawn on the general's face. "
Show yourself, I need to observe you one last time…" And so he did. The mage walked out of the barrier, saying some words Silanus didn't even bother to listen. He was trying to cast a spell, but before he could, Silanus jumped highly in the air with his last strenghts, landing on the roof of the manor. "
Run. Go away. As far as you can. With the Goddess, too." Silanus gave a baleful glance to the wraith and the nymph. "
I cannot spill blood infront of the sacred Nymph, unless they're hostile to her. I'd be doomed to ethernal damnation." In an instant, his immense rage was replaced by… Woe, rancor and resentment. "
You have spoken against my faith all this time, lad. But it is my faith that has saved your arse for the second time today. Now run, before I invoke another spirit with the last drop of energy I've got left, you bastard."
Silanus simply stared at the three of them from his high position. Were his words true? Or were they an excuse to forfeit the battle, due to his extreme exhaustion? He could have used all his remaining energy to summom once another spirit, or focus it all in one last blow, then remain unconsious, but he chose not to. "
And you… Nymph…" He spoke, once again. "
Be wary of mortals, mistress. Our heart is impure. It is in our nature to murder and hate what we don't understand… Or what we don't like. Stay away from the mundane world…" To end his speech, Silanus turned his disgusted glance to the mage. "
That includes your… Friend, who didn't hestitate in freezing your feet solid when he felt threatened. Humans, elves, orcs… None are to be trusted." After his sorrowed words, the commander hid in the shadows, almost vanishing. He would now search his fellow soldiers and get the hell out of Mamlak.

The blades flew quickly and Randal could feel the frostbite on his hand grow further up his arm with the searing pain, he looked back at Wen watching the mud ball fly past him but the spectral blade cut her slightly without even thinking he sprinted to her side allowing a wall of rock to rise from the ground protecting her from the rest of the volley of knives before drawing a symbol on her forehead glowing dark blue
"I just placed an Arcane Empower on you, hopefully, that will allow enough time for you to get out of here" he rested his head againsts her's as the sudden searing pain grew more as his mana was taken fueling the Dryads, he felt the heat flood over his makeshift wall as the man's attack hit.
His breath seemed heavy as he stood up from the ground, the cloud of his breath floated away from his body even his movements seemed sluggish as he walked around the wall with his hands in the air
"You truly have bested us, all I ask is that I shake the hand of the man who beat me" his hand glowed a faint blue fully aware he was going to try a mind rot the man without hesitation to stop his onslaught and to protect the two people behind the wall of rock.
On the other side of the brick-like structure, Edgest opened his eyes to be face to face to Elowen his eyes opening wide at the symbol on her forehead
"Why is that brat giving you my mana",
"Dont say this is his plan to stop that scum" his form shimmered in and out of sight infront of the Dryad every so often his face would appear to have a large frown showing his displeasure of being connected temporarily with the Forest being,
"However that does mean he is somehow still concious after all that pain…"

Finally finding her healing potion, Elowen drank the entire flask in one swig. Coughing as the wound closed, she removed her shaky hand from her abdomen to wipe the blood from her mouth, then rose to her feet. Tears fell from her eyes, caused by both the pain in her side and the furious words of the soldier.
"I did not want to fight you. Still I do not!" she pleaded hoarsely, though her words seemed to fall upon deaf ears.
"I am no goddess, nor do I claim to have wisdom. Please, listen!" It was too late. A hail of daggers were raining down on them, accompanied by a sea of hellish green fire. Without a spell to counteract the soldier, her only other option was to prepare an offensive attack and hope that Randal could protect them from the impact.
Wen had to act quickly. A few small knife were already slicing past, nicking her on her very exposed skin. Reaching a hand toward the now exposed dirt that was once covered by stone, she summoned a ball of mud and watched it form in the air. She sneakily imbued it with the sleeping spell she knew, so that once it made contact with Silanus, he would fall asleep for a short period of time. That is, if he did not dodge the blow. Even with the soldier weakened and low on mana, Wen decided to at least attempt to escape before things got too messy. However, her own magical energy was depleting, and without the sun's rays it would not replenish.

It was such a letdown for Tacitus Silanus to see the Dryad siding with the mage, and he was so dissapointed, even saddened when she protected him, at the cost of getting almost killed by his phantom. Walking slowly while twirling his sword, he spoke to the wounded nymph, mantaining a moderate distance. "
Legends have always spoken about dryads. The oracles said that these nymphs were the wisest, and would favor their devotees and followers… I see now, that both of these statements were mistaken. Such a pity…!" Once again, Silanus stood back, regaining his energy and contemplating the short fight between the mage and his Ancestor. "
Ungrateful, sightless people these days…" He exclaimed. An unit of town guards arrived to combat the incident and the trouble-makers, nonetheless, intimidated by the mage and the ghost alike, their commander yelled: "
Bah, they don't pay us enough to combat supernatural foes! Withdraw men!" And, in a manner of seconds, they all scattered and ran away.
It was infurating to see how the mage banished his Ancestor, nevertheless, Silanus simply smirked with both rage and confidence, then turned his scowl to Randall and said: "
You follow a really ambiguous code of honor with the undead, lad." The general gave out a brief chuckle, before speaking to him again: "
That was faster than I expected… You actually defeated my Ancestor, kudos to you! But I must inform you that whilst I am alive, my Ancestor is. But it will take a long time to summon him again…" Silanus looked and listened to the "wraith". Such a foul creature, he thought… The Fratian had spent a lot of energy to summon the spirit, and it would be really hard for him to engage against both the wraith and the mage, and maybe even the nymph. He was outnumbered and had not enough magical power at the moment, but, his pride and honor were a price he would
NOT pay, even if his life was at danger.
Before the wraith casted his ice spells, Silanus exclaimed with both anger and audacity: "
Must I remind you that my Ancestor saved your arse, you cretin? You'd be used as target practice by the troopers of this city if not for ME!" After saying that, he turned his glance to the nymph and spoke to her too: "
And you decide to side with the one who froze solid your feet to interrogate you, instead of simply talking to you? And I was dumb enough to waste magical energy and free you, my lady..!" Enough talking! After having said that, Silanus' sword ignited with dark-greenish, mighty fire. He clashed his sword against the floor and used the fire magic to dispel the ice tendrils and roots that were directed to him. With his sword, the Fratian then slashed the air, and waves of unholy fire flew towards the mage and his wraith. "
YOU DIE NOW!" He yelled with inmense fury, then directed dozens of small magical daggers at them. The problem was, however, that Silanus was consuming too much magical power… Something that might backslash him later.

"I am Randal Hex last of my name, raised in an orphanage, taught how to handle ghosts by the mage's Academy of Adeluna and you decide its best to hurt someone I care about?" cold air pushed forwards blowing small flakes of frost at the face of the solider, two seperate bodies stood side by side as Edgest seemed attached to the mage by a thin veil of light as they began to walk forwards slowly the wraith walking through the wall of plants first freezing almost brittle at contact allowing Randal to easily break through next to Wen,
"You should have really stayed out of this Wen" Edgest seemed to finally take notice of the girl as the young mage cast a minor healing spell onto her wound to give her more time
"It's nice to finally be able to greet you Dryad".His eyes cold as ice reflecting the light of the frost around him, his sight set on the ancestor as his staff glew with a large circular drawing with amazing details in such a fluent moving
"Ghost who shall not be named, you have commited crimes against the accordance of the dead therefore I banish you with this spell" swinging out the staff hit the ancestor torso watching the golden light start to take form on its body and wither away at its physical form as Edgest's form seemed to reform with the mages looking at Silanus with pure anger,
"You see why your people fell now Fratis, because you use forms of magic that taint the world and now I will taint you" Randal's hand glew blue as tendrils of frost seemed to flow over his hand preparing to brand the soilder.

Her feet were frozen to the ground so quickly that Elowen hardly had time to register the mage's sudden appearance. Widening her eyes fearfully, she immediately shook her head and tried to talk some sense into him.
"Randal, no! It's not like that. You must release me or–" She was cut off by the just as abrupt entrance of the soldier. Silanus seemed more than upset at Randal's accusations. He seemed
furious. Since he appeared as though he was in no condition to fight, Wen held some hope that perhaps he would not try anything… but her heart sank as he called upon his spirit once more, this time to attack her friend and ally.
The Dryad did not bother turning her head as the soldier spoke to her, attempting to defend himself from having poor favor in her eyes. What he did not realize, however, was that she had already made her choice in this battle, and she would not back down. The Ancestor charged toward Randal with no sign of stopping or slowing. Its intent was clear. Struggling to free herself from the ice binding her to the ground, Wen gasped when she suddenly stumbled forward, no longer trapped in one position. Without a second glance back at Tacticus Silanus, the Dryad swiftly ran between the spirit and the mage, calling forth plant life trapped beneath the stone street. A tough wall of roots and vines twisted upwards, flinging bits of cobblestone through the air.
"I would rather side with an honest sinner than spend one more moment helping you!" Wen called, glaring through the gaps in her wall. There weren't enough plants to full satisfy her spell, which she soon found out. A sharp, stinging pain shot through her left side, and her golden eyes wandered down to where one of the Ancestor's swords had pierced through that side of her abdomen. The phantom jerked its sword back through the wall, allowing the Dryad to stumble back clutching the wound. She kneeled to the ground, sputtering while she grasped for her pouch, where she had a major healing potion stashed somewhere, if she could only find it…

Tacitus Silanus finally reached the manor, just to find himself with two frozen guards and the nymph with frozen feet, all this caused by the man he had just saved. He could not help but frown with anger and disbelief after hearing the mage's threats. "
How dare you use a spell against the Goddess herself?!" He yelled, as he drew out his sword and twirled it a few times. "
How DARE you speak against my people like that? How dare you speak against ME after I saved your life?! Have you gone rampant, you savage?!" Exclaimed the soldier once again, walking slowly towards the young mage. Silanus was not in a good condition to fight, not after summoning his Ancestor. However…
"
Oh… I see… You have a problem with my Ancestor..? Then I shall not fight you…" He said, with an inimical, malevolent glare; soon, an ominous dark mist emerged. "
HE will." And then, after he finished speaking, the phantom appeared once again. "
Forgive me, my Lady. I did everything I could to tolerate this kid. I know that disobeying and defy a divine Nymph is a sin, but I, rightful emperor of the Fratian Empire, shall not stand and see how a sinner freezes your feet, then spits out threats against MY life!" Said the fratian, with a hand behind his back, and holding his sword with his other hand. "
Begone." He said once again, then pointed his sword at the mage. Almost inmediately, the fratian spirit, armed with two swords, rushed towards the mage. The ghost let out an almost demonic, fiendish scream.
Silanus could not help but stand back and laugh when he saw the Ancestor flying towards the lad. Unless the mage dodged the spectral blades, or summoned some sort of barrier, he would take serious unholy damage. The ghost was inmune to physical weapons, and was only vulnerable to magic or magical weapons. Of course, it's biggest weakness was holy magic or a banishing spell… While the spectre was fighting against the mage, Silanus summoned two magical daggers, and threw them at the dryad's feet, freeing her and, obviously, without hurting her. She could side with Silanus or Randall, but now, nothing would stop the general's wrath.

His eyes opened in a haze as he groaned running a hand through his hair before a clearer sight was seen of the corpes laid perfectly still causing the boy to recoil to the horror before them,
"How?" he asked speechless at the act before the Wraith seemed to descend from the sky with a angered expression plastered across his face
"The answer is a damn ghost, that fool of a Solider believes he can play with magics he has no control over, Randal, I know your sore about the girl and knowing that you must do our Job to protect everyone from that thing he used" the mage sighed getting up from the ground with a wince and drawing his staff with a serious look,
"Our duty lies before our wishes" they both nodded before sprinting through the streets following the traces of energy the Wraith could track.
He slid to a stop in front of manor watching the scene unfold, if anyone knew where the Fratis was would be the Dryad chanting the spell preparing for the worse he rapidly fired bolts of ice at the man freezing his limbs and bow to the wall before turning to the other with a quick slash in the air making a large strip of ice smash into him freezing his upper torso and left arm to the wall with a pained grunt before turning to Wen with a trouble expression,
"He used a spirit as a weapon, so I need you to tell me where he is now" and just like that the mage had frozen the Dryad's feet to the ground with another ice bolt,
"I dont blame you truly, that man has the ability and strength I lack tenfold but now is the time for me to do my job and thats to cleanse that spirit" he turned facing the rooftops shouting loudly his voice distorting into Edgest's filled with rage and anger allowing a way to vent his frustration out"Fratis! I know you're out there in the dark, you use your connections with your kin to kill as you like, but yet you bow to fake gods, Your systems were corrupt! Your people of a bygone age of paranoia! and your people don't deserve the right to come back if they use cheap methods of controlling spirits who wish to just be set free! so let's hope your fake prophets have room in whatever place you get put in"

Running across the rooftops as her hair whipped around her face, Elowen nearly forgot where she was or what she was doing. The intensity was just so thrilling, and she absolutely
loved it. Despite her rather odd and honestly dangerous circumstances, Wen could not stop the smile from growing on her face. "
Once I get out on my own again, I'll have to try more of this!" she thought to herself, golden eyes gleaming with excitement. The Dryad remained so completely enthralled by their adventure on top of the buildings, that she did not even register the incoming arrow. Her head snapped toward the noise, and she stumbled into a halt.
"Wait!" Wen stated firmly, but she was too late to stop Silanus from killing the two watchmen. Dread filled her eyes, almost to the brink of tears for their needless deaths.
"That was unnecessary," she whispered with a distant stare.
Noise, noise, the only thing that came out of the soldier's mouth was noise. The clamor from the streets below further muddled her thoughts, but as her eyes slowly drifted down to where she had heard the voices, seeing Randal was what finally forced her out of her stillness. Though she knew it would not do much good, Wen slammed one of her small fists into his arm for once again belittling the mage.
"He is my friend, sir. And I should remind you that you are not." It was time to forget being kind to Silanus at Randal's expense. He had offered to help the mage; so be it.
"If he is harmed," she spoke, a serious glint in her eyes,
"I will never forgive you."
With that, the Dryad returned to leaping over the rooftops, though with a much less lighthearted attitude that before. Eventually, she made it to the manor, hopping down to ground level and keeping herself hidden in the shadows. But two more archers were there guarding the great building. One aimed an arrow at her.
"Show yourself, troublemaker!" Unsure of what else to do, Wen raised her hands and stepped toward them. "Please, I mean no harm." This caused the archer to hesitate, clearly thrown off by her meek appearance.

Silanus noticed how the dryad even called him sir. It was odd to hear such respect from a "goddess"; she did not demand anything or give any orders and treated him like an equal. Was she that humble, or simply unaware of her position? He could not really comprehend that, but the soldier had to admit that he preferred this over being treated as a lackey by her, so he wouldn't complain. While running in the roof, two archers in a nearby watchtower saw them. "
Ey fella, what's those madmen doin' running in the roof? Isn't that forbidden?" One of them asked. "They must be up to no good, better shoot 'em down and act as nothing happened." The other one said, pointing at the dryad with his crossbow, then shooting. A loud whistle-like noise was caused by the steel bolt flying at such a high speed towards the nymph. However, after hearing the noise, Silanus swiftly slashed the bolt in mid air, before it could reach her and anything gruesome happened,
"
How dare you?!" Yelled Silanus, angered by such an unwise action. "How could they shoot at a nymph herself? Are they not aware?!" Though the soldier. The armed archer reloaded his weapon, while the other one simply observed. But, before he could shoot again, Silanus pointed his hand to the watchtower's direction… Soon, it began to glow and a dozen of spectral daggers came out of it, then flew towards the archers, killing both of them. "
A-are you fine? What an imprudent act!" He said to Wen. Before they both ran again, a slam, followed by a groupal laughter could be heard. It was the boy from before! He had been knocked and captured. "
What an idiot! How could he allow to be taken by some miserable guards? We should leave him to rot in whatever dungeon they'll throw him, he deserves it!" Exclaimed Silanus. Nevertheless, after looking back at the nymph, he realized that this lad was somewhat dear to the nymph; a friend or a companion perhaps? "
…Is the lad under your divine protection, mistress? I… I think I COULD lend him a hand, if that's the case." Said the soldier, with a demoralized voice. "
J-just keep running towards the manor…!"
Silanus kneeled right where he was, but this time it was not a reverence towards the nymph, no. A dark aura surrounded the man, and soon a ghastly phantom emerged. It had a similar gear to the one Silanus had equipped, except it was all worn out and ill-kept… As if it was taken from an ancient, buried corpse! The eyeless spirit was floating around, until Silanus spoke to it. "
I summoned you, my grand ancestor, to aid me in combat once more! Go punish those unworthy guards, I command!" After hearing such words, the ancestor flew towards the guards holding the men, surrounding them in a dark mist. In a matter of seconds, they turned into mummy-like corpses, all except the lad! "
Let's go my Lady!" Exclaimed the leader, who ran towards the manor again. After invoking his ancestor, however, his energy and strenght was halved.

He sprinted down the alleyway with a huge smirk plastered on his face
"Doesn't this feel great Edgest? It's like old times!" he looked to the side seeing the Wraith floating alongside him with a small smile
"Randal we've been together for three years - Look out for the stall - and I think Angela could let my soul rest finally" the young mage narrowly avoided the wooden shop with a shout from the owner as he turned to hide behind some crates breathing hard,
"What do you mean, well I know you want to rest but we can rest later" the wraith shook his head with a frown
"I mean rest forever with just me and my family" the young mages smile dropped almost instantly before he stood up looking at the city infront of him,
"Find the way to the Inn…"The jog was long and silent as he entered walking straight to the bar and with an edge of seriousness in his voice spoke clearly to the maid
"A large man with short dark hair and a green-skinned woman, are they here" when the women simply waved her had told him how she would have remembered seeing someone of the descriptions walk in, with that she walked off to talk to a man in the corner who seemed to pace away from the Inn with haste leaving Randal to slump down outside the Inn, after all he had done to get here, going through a rainforest, meeting a dragon and distracting the guards she had simply run away with the Fratis man, Edgest sat in the seat nearby with a echo of his usual voice,
"Im sure shes okay Randal- Look out!" The young man turned to see a hilt slam into the side of his face with three guardsmen picking him up roughly
"Hah, what idiot would come back to the criminals Inn what was he expecting" the men laughed before dragging him off with a worried Wraith simply going alongside his host in silent worry.

"I– what?!" Elowen's words fumbled out of her mouth as she was dragged along behind the burly man. Usually,
she was the one dragging people around, and she was beginning to rethink that particular method of transportation after having experienced it. Rubbing her wrist, the Dryad raised an eyebrow quizzically, her eyes widening as Silanus easily jumped onto the roof of a building. "Okay, how am I…?" she whispered to herself, scanning the area for something that could give her a boost before spotting a tarp roof covering a stall.
Wen took a deep, shaky breath, then bolted toward the tarp. Her lightweight build meant making huge leaps was a possibility; in fact, she had used a similar tactic to scale the towering trees in her home forest. So, as she jumped up onto the fabric roof, she knew that she could make it over to the building the soldier was on. Her second bounce carried her to where she needed to go, and she rolled as she landed to diminish the blow. One hand extended outwards. "Lead the way, Sir Tacticus Silanus," Wen offered, nodding at him.
Briefly, she cast her gaze down to where Randal was still distracting the guards, wondering if he would know where to find them, or if he would realize they had not gone to the inn. But she had faith in him, or at least in Edgest, to locate them. Though she wondered if that was such a good idea, with the soldier's attitude towards the mage. Bowing her head, the Dryad said a quick prayer for safety over him, and then followed Silanus as he bounded across the rooftops.

Tacitus Silanus decided to not answer to the lad. He was clearly looking for a fight, something the armored man had no time for. It was a very good gesture to cover Silanus and help him avoid the guards, he would not forget it. The streets were almost empty and the leader would be easily caught if it wasn't for the Dryad's help.
When she suggested to go to the inn and find the rest of his henchmen, Silanus thought it would be a good idea and agreed. Before leaving, he answered to the lad's "warnings" with a quick whisper "
You keep on my good side, lad… and I'll keep you alive. Now hush." After saying that, he and the Dryad walked towards the inn , while the other man distracted the patrolling guards. "
W-wait my Lady… It will be harder to continue if we encounter my soldiers. Three people hide better than ten!" Said Silanus, as he stopped walking.
After looking sideways and seeing there was not a living soul nearby, Silanus grabbed the Dryad's wrist and quickly ran upstairs with her, going to an upper disctrict, then hiding behind a closed shop. "
M-my apologies, mistress…! That was an impolite action of mine. However, we MUST go to the royal steward's manor… He knows me, he'll help…!" After saying that, the general's hand began to glow; he had casted an agility spell. Then he easily jumped to the roof of a house and looked downwards: "
Your highness, I'd be most thankful if you came with me. Your presence would surely bring me fortune! Let's go to the steward's manor, jumping from roof to roof!"

"You dare call me an imbecile!? a clan doesn't deserve a place in the history let alone a brute like you" he growled back at the man before hearing his begging Wen like a goddess about how his clan and he weren't criminals before allowing Randal to get more angry "If you even think they view the few remaining Fratis as a war youre sorely mistaken solider, my father fought in the battles and would explain how your people grew impatient with diplomacy hoping your steel could sing songs of sparks, just like any other human being you wished far too much for your 'tribe' and in result you lost so much" The young mage seemed to grow larger and more confident while talking about his father before finishing it with one last sentence "Theres a saying he once said 'Forgive me for my sins for they are my burden, born through a name, made through our mistakes' why recreate the Fratis clan the same as it was before when you could make it so much better?".
He stepped back allowing Elowen to finish answer the soldier's question frowning how close the two seemed to be before letting it slide pacing the ground paying attention to details of Silanus taking in all his weapons and muscles before hearing the guards coming as well almost reaching down to grab the dryad so they could arrest the man before seeing her glance driving shivers down his spines before smirking at her before saying with a sigh "Fine, but you really do owe me one" glancing back before looking at the Fratis "Which Inn?, Ill distract the guards while you get over the to blend in and this way it means no one has to die" taking out his bag and chewing on a herb with a frown "And brute until I meet up with you at the Inn keep her safe" glancing at the Dryad before taking a steps towards the sound of clinking boots exclaiming loudly "Guards! Guards! why in such a hurry please take a look at my wares!" before his staff seemed to tap the floor creating a stone wall sealing the route towards the Clansmen and the Dryad.

A look of warning briefly crossed her face at Silanus's treatment of Randal. Wen had half a mind to tell the soldier off, but she also had a feeling that they should probably remain on his good side, lest they risk a fight they could not win. Before she could even mention anything about it, though, he went and started rambling on with an excuse for why he and his people were considered criminals in parts of Canelux. Elowen personally thought there was a lot that he was most likely leaving out, but, once again, she wanted to remain on good terms with him. Plus, her apparent status as a Dryad placed her in good favor with Silanus already.
She cast a nervous glance at Randal when he asked why she was in the city, deciding to answer him honestly. "I am… on a bit of a journey, myself," she explained, looking directly in his eyes (since he was kneeling, the two were nearly on eye-level). "I wish to see Mother Gaia; Angela, here." One hand gestured to the mage at her side. "Randal is coming along both for his own reasons and to assist me with mine. But what I am most concerned wi–"
Her voice stopped short as the sound of footsteps approached. Clinking of metal boots on stone indicated that they were likely to be soldiers who were, if she was assuming correctly, searching for Silanus. Quickly, she decided that, since the man had not personally wronged her and she had no reason to think he would lie, she would help him. Pulling off her cloak, she gently wrapped it around his shoulders. It would definitely be too small for his whole body, but it would suffice to cover his torso, where most of the blood was. "Are you staying at an inn? If so, we will help to hide you until you can get there and clean up," she asked in a hushed tone, directing a pointed glance at Randal that she hoped would discourage him from arguing.

It was so amusing how the nymph could calm down that madman, just by softly saying some words…! Truly fascinating how this goddess could pacify him that easily! Such a pity that her companion spoke out of turn, and mentioned his wanted posters and bounties… This would be hard to explain.! "
Tribe? You surely are audacious, really INSOLENT, to call us a tribe, you mindless imbecile!!!" After speaking, the armored man glared at the lad. After speaking. he remained silent.
Once again, Silanus lowered his head in a respectful manner, then, with a reverential voice tone,he spoke once again to the nymph. "
Forgive me, my mistress. Speaking like that infront of you is a foolish act of mine. I ask for forgiveness…" After saying that, the Fratian kneeled with servitude infront of the dryad, then continued speaking: "
My name is Tacitus Silanus, rightful leader of the Fratis clan, it's truly an honor to speak with you, mistress. I am no criminal, I am no bandit. The people of Adeluna and many other cities alike have placed bounties on me, yes, but it's for the sole fact that we are at war with them. As a clan, we have our lands, laws, citizens, religion and our freedom. But the tyrants do not recognize us. In our lands, they are the one seen as criminals, even the queen herself." After having said that, the leader stood up and placed his heavy helmet to the ground, showing his dark, short hair.
Silanus was simply impressed of having a dryad infront of him, that was the highest of honors in his religion. "
M-may I ask, my lady, if you excuse me, why is a goddess like you in a mundane, unworthy and unholy city like this one? Is there an affair you have here? If so, may I, your most humble of servants, assist you in any way?" Once again, the warrior stood in reverence.

Randal felt the pang of something new in his chest when the dryad took to the flattering of the solider as he rose a finger to comment back he felt her hand on his cold cheek and his comment was turned into a stuttering mess, "S-s-s-sorry" with that being said Edgest spoke in his head with a chuckle "My, my, my Jealous then loved up in a matter of seconds" with a glance at the air however it did not quite stop his annoyance at being called a barbarian but even with her innocence the young mage trusted Wen with a judge of character I mean she did somehow trust the Orc-elf a few weeks back before looking back at the roman with a frown "So what is your reason for having wanted posters spread across most of the major cities in the land?"
This is when he looked over the Roman noticing the colour of his cloths and the isignia on his armour with Edgest quickly speaking "Maddness, that man is a member of Fratis I thought the whole tribe was taken out, if we are barbaric then he must be the devil" Randal nodded to himself before sliding in front of Elowen and frowning at the solider if whatever Edgest an anicent wraith just said was true then perhaps it was best if he kept an eye on his actions before speaking "And why would a member of the Fratis tribe be so far away from home?"

Startled by Randal's sudden menacing appearance, the Dryad had to take a moment to process what he had said.
Wanted posters? Those were normally reserved for criminals or bounties, yet this man, Silanus, was dressed as if he were a soldier. She was slightly taken aback at the reverence with which he spoke to her, calling her "divine nymph" and "bringer of fortune". The flattery made her skin flush a deep green. Hesitantly, Elowen stepped next to the mage, soothingly placing a hand on his cheek. "There does not need to be trouble here, tonight," she said softly, before turning to face the man. "Please, sir, my friend is no barbarian. He is just very protective of me, since I haven't been away from my home for more than a few days."
Clinging to her cloak, Wen took another step toward him, narrowing her eyes as she tried to decide whether or not she should trust him. "I must admit, I have never before been spoken to with such respect. I am quite humbled." Elowen bowed her head with a smile, then raised an eyebrow. "If you are truly a victim of a misunderstanding, why has my friend seen your face along with those of common bandits and thieves? You most assuredly do not seem like one to be caught up in trouble." A hint of uncertainty wavered in her voice. Her judgement of people was currently not great, but she did hope that she was not being taken for a gullible fool.
Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, she reminded herself, praying a quick prayer to Angela that she did not misjudge the character of this soldier.

Just when Tacitus Silanus thought he had fled successfully from any possible pursuer, what seemed to be a girl appeared and spoke to him. It seemed this "girl" was trying to keep her voice low, she was still quite loud and noisy. It was dark and the swordsman could not see her very well, but when she got closer to him, Silanus could see she was definitely not a human. Her skin was… Pale green? Even her hair was green! Obviously not an elf, didn't seem like an hybrid either.
Silanus could not help but stare at the green woman with an attentive expression… She had to be a forest nymph! This was a good omen, it was definitely a favorable augury! Nymphs were not only divines in Silanus' ancient religion, but they were even the bringers of good luck! However, before he could say anything, what seemed to be a young lad came and interrupted them. This intrepid boy even recognized the general, and even accused him of murder in a sarcastic way. "
How dare you speak to ME like that, boy!!!" He yelled at him.
Before Silanus could react, this "lad" began to glow and half of his face changed. His ominious voice echoed loudly… With an astonished expression, Silanus thought he could probably cast a spell and slash this glowing "man" but… although he was capable of putting a fight against this hostile being, to do such a ruthless act infront of a nymph… That would be something only a mindless fool is capable of! Instead of provoking his "foe" or doing any hostile action, Silanus simply dropped his weapon, stood firm, placed his fist on his chest, lowered his head and finally spoke to the nymph, ignoring the other glowing man. "
Oh, divine nymph, bringer of fortune and luck! Forgive your loyal son Tacitus Silanus, who in a misunderstanding got caught in a fight with some rogue, bloodthirsty, barbarous madmen, who hid beneath an uniform!" After having said that, Silanus pointed at the "man" who was infront of the nymph. "
But most importantly… Forgive this savage barbarian, who wants to attack your loyal follower! How dare YOU to speak like that infront of a nymph… A divine! Are you out of your mind, bloody savage?" after speaking, the leader simply stepped back a little. If things turned violent, Silanus would cast a spell and summon a weapon, just in case.

Sure he had a great day but they couldn't stay in the city forever even if he did enjoy spending time with her, and even the day at the market resulted in new walking boots and some new clothes for Wen "Of course I enjoyed I mean I was with you after all" Randal stated with a smile before continuing "I don't think Edgest minded but he kinda left halfway through the day" he tapped his chin trying to put it to words "You see he can leave for a few hours at a time while his energy is strong and then I can call him back if I need him, kinda like, I can live without him but he cant live without me" rubbing the back of his head lightly before bumping into her side lightly.
When the dryad shot off following the man covered in a red substance he took after without hesitation "Elowen wait up!" he struggled to keep up managing to trip on some loose items scattered on the road due to Edgest not being with him to warn of oncoming dangers before he reached the temple seeing her retreat round the back of the temple he followed his eyes opening wide as a spectral arrow grew around his staff aiming it at the blood soaked man with a glare "Silanus, I remember your name from the wanted posters in Adeluna" slowly walking infront of the dryad holding an arm infront of her, "And Im guessing you didnt take a side job as a butcher" as half his body glowed and one half his face became an old glowing image of a man
"Dont you dare try anything" two voices seemed to speak as a sudden glow of arcane empower went off and the spectral arrow seemed to grow brigther.

A cool night's breeze swept through the streets of the city, causing the few who were out walking around to shiver when it hit them. But Elowen did not mind the wind. She had just had the most wonderful day of her life, and she was sad when Randal had informed her that they should probably head back to the local inn so they could get some rest. A loud huff escaped her, but she wasn't going to argue with the mage any more. He
did know better, after all. Pulling her new shawl around her body, her golden eyes floated around the empty streets, observing every detail and taking it all in. Strange, how a city could look so different at night than in the day; so different from her home forest, which was constantly dark and gloomy. Pushing her massive green braid to the side, she smiled brightly back at Randal. "Did you have fun today? Because I did!" she asked cheerfully, then added, "And did Edgest enjoy himself? I know he can be grumpy, but still…"
Heavy footsteps pulled away her attention toward an intersection ahead, where she glimpsed a man covered in blood running from something. Fearing he could have been hurt, Elowen began chasing after him before she could give it a second thought. "Wait!" she called, though he did not seem to hear her. The young Dryad was quick, however, and easily kept pace with him until he ducked behind a temple of some sort. Normally, she would have stopped to admire the beautiful building, but her concern for the stranger's wellbeing overpowered her sense of wonder. Treading carefully around the side, Wen could smell the blood coming from him. She was lightheaded for a moment, but shook it off and continued onwards until she finally spotted him. "Sir! Are you alright?" Elowen kept her voice low, for fear of tipping off the wounded soldier's pursuers.

Few days had passed since Tacitus Silanus, leader of the Fratian clan, and some of his underlings had arrived in the city of Mamlak. Not many citizens recognized them, nonetheless, some of the local guardsmen recognized the gear and armour of the members of this infamous clan. The fratians had been known to sell slaves, act as mercenaries and even raid or steal merchandise in the commercial routes; these criminal acts are the reason most of their members, specially their leader, are not allowed in most cities of Canelux and some even have large bounties on their head. However, due to the importance of the materials and goods sold in the city of Mamlak, Silanus managed to bribe one of the royal stewards, allowing him and his people to enter the city without any problem, obviously with the condition of mantaining a good behavior inside.
Silanus and 5 of his bodyguards were roaming in the city for a few days now. They rented some rooms in a local inn so they had enough time to both get some contracts or clients and buy supplies as iron, food and other materials that are hard to get in the Steppes where they lived in. However, unfortunately, bribing one steward is not always enough to keep unwanted attention at bay. Suddenly, a group of city guards surrounded Silanus when he was alone, and tried to arrest him. "
Far away, in Adeluna, your head is worth thousands of silver pieces… Come with us sir, we gotta arrange somehting!" Exclaimed one of the six guards that had him surrounded. It was late night and nobody was around, so, without hestitating, Silanus casted a streght spell and with his shortsword he quickly killed the, but now he had to escape before more guards noticed his crime. How would he explain this? Without searching for his companions, he ran away, hiding in the shadows and hid behind what seemed to be a temple of some sort. Now, Silanus stood there, hoping to remain unseen. However, the stench of fresh blood that stained his sword could be smelled by almost anyone that passed by, if anyone did, of course.
