Name: Harker

Race: Druid Shapeshifter
Gender: Male
Class: Druid
Silver: 302
His beloved had cast him aside, exiled him from their world, and expelled him with great force, into a new place. Everything that she had cursed him with was designed to hurt him to his core; and she had chosen her punishments wisely…

The Druid Shapeshifter stared at his grey toned skin in despair, every movement, while fluid, was accompanied by the grinding of stone - an indication of one of the three curses she had 'gifted' him. He could feel nothing, not warmth nor cold, he could not even harm himself - the fall from the cliff had done nothing to the stone skin that Thalia had given to him, not even a scratch… she had made sure that her former lover would suffer for the rest of eternity, intending for his heart to grow as cold as his skin now was. Even in his other forms, no matter what he transformed into, he could feel nothing, even if he believed he could love again, he would never be able to feel their skin beneath his fingers, not now.

Harker could cope with the first two of his curses well enough, as much as it broke his heart to know that he would never bear his own children, or feel the touch of another again, the dependence on the lifeforce of another was a devastating blow, especially considering it was refusal to take innocent lives that had caused Thalia's anger at him in the first place. Despite what his Queen had done to him, the man still could not hate her, he was angry of course he was, but he loved Thalia with all of his being… and he partially blamed himself for defying her orders in the first place. But this? This insatiable hunger?
He could defy it for so long, but when at it's worst Harker lost his mind to it, blind to the starvation and acting purely on an instinct he had not been aware existed… before Thalia had cast him from their world, she had allowed him to suffer his third curse's true horrors, letting his mind break with the hunger until he had been forced to kill an innocent, waking only to find their corpse in his arms, the only indication of what he had done.

He had felt the hunger welling inside of him, felt his mind drifting in and out of consciousness because of it… and had tried to find the darkest, furthest corners in this world. so as to keep innocents safe from him. He had no idea where he was, all he knew was that he had to keep moving, had to keep walking, to keep away… So caught up in his madness, Harker had not seen the ribbon tied to his finger, and he certainly could not feel it, blind to all but the fear of what might happen if he came across another being, he did not see the changes to his environment, let alone appreciate the beauty of the place he found himself in.
It was only when he came to stand before the Palace that he truly took note of where he was. A building such as this would have a multitude of people… he could not risk being here… just as the Druid turned back, hoping to leave before anyone spotted him, he heard someone call out… and his mind snapped. The hunger spiked, taking hold of what little sanity Harker had left, but not before he had managed to shout "RUN!", before everything fell away, and he snarled, throwing himself at them.
