They had finished their time exploring in the caverns and they had managed to get all tangled up with each other. They had spent HOURS on the airship trying to get free of each other as Killian and Luna both had managed to pace circles around each other. The red string had snapped and it caused the two to be intimately close and rather stuck for hours.

“Angela might have a solution for this…” Luna blushed down at Killian who was stuck with his head to her chest. He was trying to be as polite as possible. They would get free and begin their wild pacing again trying to think of a solution only to snap back together again when the string thought they went too far. This time he ended up in a bad position on her and she let out a sigh. “Okay, one more time then we can safely get the airship to Angela… and hopefully get this thing off of us.”

Together they worked to tame the stupid red string that had attached itself to their fingers. Luna looked frazzled and tired by the end of it as she curled up next to Killian. “Should be easy enough to get into her realm as long as she lets us.”

Turns out she did let them. They found themselves on her beach of all places. Exiting the airship they naturally took each other’s hand as they had been since the mines. The ocean was exactly the way it had been when she had left though she didn’t expect it to change. “This is Twilight Beach…” The night sky was the ocean as the hot sun hung in the sky. Her hair began to frizz up again and she frowned a bit. “We will have to walk all the way to Alstroemeria Circle and take the horses up to her temple.” Though when her moonstone eyes connected with his blue ones… Her heart about lept out of her chest. It was this place, it was making him intoxicating to her. "Damnit Lady Angela." She was making them walk for a reason.

With his nose pressed firmly between her breasts, and his arms folded behind his back Killian tried to nod in response to her suggestion. It wasn’t dignified. “I agree. We can’t go around like this.” It took them a little while, but eventually the string started to extend again; allowing them to move more freely. (If they were careful to move together – When they didn’t it soon tangled the ship up.) It wasn’t difficult for him to find a way into her realm. It had mostly been her magic he’d used to track this realm down. If it hadn’t been for Angelia sending Luna to him then he would have probably gone to see her as soon as he’d put his impossible ship back together. As he set coordinates to her realm he smiled. He couldn’t see her trying to keep him out – they had been good friends before.

The ship faded into Elysia slowly, but Killian had turned the engines to max – the noise the Hullaballoo was unique the mechanical wheeze of an airship that was more than a little bit alive. To some that noise meant salvation, to others it meant their end had come. To his old friend Angie Killian liked to imagine that it simply signalled the return of an old friend.

Killian locked the door and took Luna’s hand in his as they both looked out into the sea. It was a beautiful piece of magic. Luna explained how they were to get to the temple, and he found himself lost in her eyes. It was more magic – his heart raced as he looked at her, but more than it usually did. The tiny ring of simple red thread around his ring finger was warmer, ever - so slightly. His face went hot as it slowly dawned on him. (As someone who had previously been God of Love under another tree in another land in another time, it had taken far too long for him to work out.) “Dammit Angie.” He repeated after Luna.

“Horses don’t like me you know.” Killian explained as they walked up the beach together.
