I have several characters you can choose from.
Akira, a cute 6 yr old who's always traveling away from home to experience the world. Always inquisitive, and very prone to getting into trouble.

Celeste is Akira's adopted mother. A bit broken, but has a desire to heal once more. I can possibly see her going into the under ground caverns (umbral depths) and attacking the dark elves there.

and Nix, a phoenix who's just struggling to figure out what she truly once. Either evil or good. She's also a mercenary, and can easily run into your character on a mission, or your char IS the mission?

Oh and Morticia, a necromantic pixie who just likes the occasional prank.
