Color: 4 for using black and white for the actual story telling and the red, orange and yellow to describe the emotion of the scene.

Shows Doesn't Tell: 3 there was a lot more telling, since art would only be able to convey so much, without as much detail.

Nura: 
Color: 3 a little lacking in color description apart from describing the apparel of the woman in the painting. 
Creativity: 5 I was impressed with the idea of making it seem like the painting came alive, and how the story was not necessarily completely told on the canvas.
Intrigue: 3 I was not completely riveted however. 
Show doesn't Tell: 5 Lots of showing, little telling, which was the whole point. 
Gives a clear picture: 3, because the story might have come off a bit confusing if it had not been for the internal dialogue of the character, which defeats the purpose.

I want to thank our judges for taking a long time (one of them took over an hour for each judging to give fair review). This was a hard write since I asked for you guys to basically paint a picture using words but without your character speaking.
