Just as he was about to assist the others in slowing the rabbit from going further into the city, he heard a call out that made his blood run cold. He looked over towards Shiloh just in time to see her collapse to the ground. She had been berskering practically since he had gotten there and who knew how long before? All the potions in the world could only do so much, even for a deity.

He thought about the flask he had at his hip, the gift from Angela from years ago that he kept on his person. She’d passed out, and while he had only absorbed the realm of dreams recently, he felt he could help her. Then again…maybe it was best for her to rest. Either way, her body needed to rejuvenate.

Without pause, he ran over to those carrying her off and tossed the flask to one of them, “Force it down her throat. It’s a gift from Angela, it’ll keep her body safe and rejuvenated.” He didn’t give them a chance to refuse and instantly ran back towards the lapin. He’d get the flask back after all of this was over, for now he wanted to stop this beast from spreading its chaos into the towns.

Already fighters were spilling towards the fray from the outskirts, and arrows rained down like angry hail from some of the strongholds. They may as well have been twigs for all they were doing, but every little bit helped. If only they could use their magick! Not even to attack, but to defend!

So far he’d been lucky in being able to teleport, but he hadn’t attempted anything else since then. As if on cue, the rabbit picked up its pace towards the city, as if defending it more brought attention to it that it should attack. Great. He stared at the ground, his heart picking up halfway with fear and halfway with hope. A few rocks trembled, dirt began to vibrate…safe so far. Maybe something would work.

He slowly exhaled and closed his eyes: the lapin was going in the opposite direction of him so he had enough faith that he’d be all right for a moment or two. Soon the sounds of chaos died around him and he was able to find his center. He saw his wife’s eyes, heard the laughter of his children, smelled the streets of Mooncrest from his home world so long ago…

His heart thrummed in a methodic rhythm and when he slowly opened his eyes he felt the threads of his magick and power pulling in every direction. It was chaotic, but he could see it streaming out, just as he could see it knotting out from others. It took much more concentration, but he slowly curled in his fingers and watched as a wall of stone rose up from the ground and encircled the rabbit. The sides of it glinted and shined, he hadn’t meant for it to be flashy but that was a side effect from the disruption of magick right now. He’d take it. The wall wouldn’t hold forever, but maybe it would hold long enough for them to bring the lapin down. Or at the very least tire it out enough for it to be too weak to continue to the city.

She was reaching her breaking point. Even with the psychosomatic rush the two enchanted pendants were giving, it was temporarily delaying the inevitable. Fatigue was coming back in waves, and when the deferred effects were back she wouldn't be able to move. Taking the dual-edged healing shiv, Shiloh stabbed her arm quickly, and continued to push herself more. This was her only way to stay on her feet until her body began locking up. Her arms felt like they were cast from iron, her legs heavy like lead. The pounding headache returned in full-force as her senses were blurring together. If she forced herself past this point, she would die from exhaustion. But that didn't make her hesitate one bit. Better her than somebody else. If she died, as long as the Voice thought she was of use, she would come back again. Even if that didn't happen, once the rabbit fell Angela and all the clerics should be able to utilize their magic unhindered. It was a totally acceptable trade-off. All she had to do was make it last.

Coughing, her mouth was dry and it felt like the back of her throat was sticking to itself. Just breathing was painful, and her muscles were seizing up at last. She wouldn't be able to continue much longer. Fighting her body, she was throwing herself just to move. The mental haze that she had been in under her induced state of bloodlust was gone, and she saw the massive terror lizard still tearing at the rabbit the best it could. The strength of that one creature rivaled at least a few dozen of them, so she made healing it her top priority. Limping and dragging herself over to it, she sank the tip of the lacriamium and obsidian blade into its hide as hard as she could, and struggled to pull it back. She wanted to do more, but it was too late.

Shiloh blacked out. Collapsing onto the ground, she crumpled into a heap within the carnage. The sounds around her were distorting, and she heard somebody shout for her. "She's fallen! Quick, all units are to return her to safety immediately!" Despite putting up a good fight, fatigue claimed her and all went dark."Take her by the arms, and bring the blades with you…"

The rest of the fighters that could still stand resumed their stations. Several non-combatant units were waiting on the sidelines to receive their captain, and were carrying her away back to the Clephsydra on a stretcher. "Check her pulse. Is she still breathing?" "Make sure that she's lying supine, keep her head and neck supported." Unconscious, the deity was left suspended in a deep, dreamless sleep.

Eden was glad that no new pools of extra warriors were called forth, though it was was a large enough pool to easily tire out the party. Arrows were flying, claws were slashing, and blades diced through the air in the chaos that surrounded them. The longer the bout stretched, the more fatigue took in. Even the massive hari, whose massive sized aimed to rival that of the rabbit's, was starting to drool through its fangs as its stamina depleted, yet all this fighting was granting it no meal to recharge itself. The wound on its chest also made it more difficult to pin the rabbit down, often loosing its grip and occasionally fighting for footing.

The land itself had been scarred by the weight of the large beings and the conflict between everyone, and the scar simply grew bigger the conflict grew with the shifting battlefield. Outside onlookers were now able to watch from their windows as the scene turned worse while others rallied themselves as reinforcements… at a line. While their superiority over the others were easy to note, their reliance on magic made the situation worse as the lupin's presence made things worse. Many archers even lined up and began to add their arrows into the mix as if to try to push the fight away from there.

"Assist!" Eden declared to her companions, the bear and big cat heading over to their side to help against the magical minions while Eden, the wolf, and jackal remained inside the bundle of destruction. Any that the hari took care were more like swatting away flies than actually aiming as his main focus was still on the lupin before taking another blast of magic into the already-wounded chest.

They needed a big move, and they needed time for it. Many were focused on the hare's front, which left the rear area pretty clean to tackle… Cutting her way though to its rear foot, Eden hoisted up her metal support beam of a sword into the air before sending it down upon the foot of the lupin with full force, feeling the wind of her weapon's fall break the air as she screamed.

Repeatedly the archer crossed swords with the lifeless creatures that were compelled by their rabbit master.  The fighting was dragging on and on that Damon was hoping that there was going to be some sort of ending in sight. Weariness was registering on all of those that were participating in the battle.  Even the deities that had come forth to help bring the magical chaos to an end were struggling with the task.  Damon was wishing slightly that he had not come out to help with the battle.  It was becoming more trouble than it was really worth.  The moment that thought crossed his mind he felt guilt immediately replace the agitation.

The phoenix ducked under a strike as he decided that moving to a dodge heavy stance for a few moments would be a better decision.  With the tiredness setting in, he wanted to keep from flailing around for a little bit.  More magical summoned companions continued to appear and begin to overwhelm the those that were targeting them.  Blue eyes glanced out into the distance and could see that they were beginning to make their way towards the city.  It had been strategy mixed with luck that the fighting had been contained away from the elven city that lay not too far away from them.  He could not imagine the population count that were housed in the protective walls.  "Any spare fighters need to help protect the city!" Damon called out while making his way towards that direction.

He weaved in and out of the fighting and sheathed his sword.  Pulling out his bow again, Damon bowed slightly and pushed off the ground quickly into a full tilt run.  If there was no barrier between that group and the city, he was not sure how long the guards of the port would be able to hold up.  With no magic on their side, the elves would have to rely on their physical capabilities.  The numbers and odds were not stack in their favor.

No matter how much he went at the rabbit with his blade, it was as if as little damage as possible was actually being tolled. What was the trick here? Another fighter spoke to themselves about the claws, focusing in on them. Maybe that could work?

He managed to just barely dart out of the way when said claws swiped at him. He took their advice, and once the opportunity arose he made a dash at one of the rabbit’s back feet. Everyone was so focused on the head and more vital areas that, as far as this battle was concerned, it was much easier. Easier in comparison…still not easy.

And while that offered some temporary crippling, it still wasn’t enough. Just as the rabbit began to rear its head, the spectral falcon screeched down and aimed his talons towards the eyes. That gave Naota just enough time to move out of the way, but now he was watching. Watching as the falcon tried its best to stop the lapin or at the very least momentarily blind or distract it.

The more he surveyed, the more he realized that his spectral guide was able to accomplish much more than their physical weapons had been. Magick was too dangerous to use since it was so unpredictable, but maybe there was more to their wispy followers than an inclination towards those advanced in the magickal arts.

He looked towards Shiloh, hoping that since she was a deity she would have an animal of her own at her side. Finally there was some relief when he saw the feisty ferret lashing out along with her: the two working in chaotic tandem. He called out to her, “Shiloh! Keep at it with your guide!” Even if it was only a hunch, it was the best one they had. For now, he charged once more to help with the others.

Desperation began to lace the movements of each attacker.  Kiba could feel himself becoming more tired by the passing moment the longer he threw himself over and over again at the magical creature.  Why were they needed to fight the beast anyway?  He had been content to roam randomly about the new world he had fallen into.  The diowolf had kept from most residents' sight in order to not create trouble or stir attention.  Only on occasion did he allow himself to fall into the villages for supplies and mingling.  It would have been easy for him to remain in his wolven form without interacting, but he had decided to have the once in a while contact.  When the rumors had started he had allowed himself the curiosity to check things out.  Kiba had not wanted to get involved and yet here he was using his teeth and claws to fight the rabbit that was creating chaos outside allowable bounds.

He watched as more powerful being joined in to help bring order back to Revaliir.  Magic could not be allowed to go array as it was.  There were too many citizens that relied upon it.  At this point he was unsure that he would be able to transform back to his two legger form if the magic was not put back the way it should.  Kiba flicked his ears as he brought his attention back to the fight in front of him.  While the goddess put her attention to fighting the lapin, Kiba swiped his paw out to take out a few of the summoned companions of the hare all at once.  They were not difficult to fight off, but it was their sheer numbers that was going to be the end of them.  The battle needed to be ended soon if they were going to survive.

Teeth lashed out and clamped around the head of one of his targets.  Magic pooled like sludge from his maw that felt as if raw power was surging through him.  Instantly he felt overwhelmed and shook his head in an effort to get rid of the remaining sludge from his mouth.  "Claws.  Stick to the claws," he said aloud to remind himself.

"Die. You. Stupid. Rabbit!" Yanking out a blade, she began repeatedly stabbing the lacriamium and obsidian sword as many times as time allowed her. The shaking wasn't as severe than when she was on its back. Still, she was barely hanging on. An audible crack reached her ears as something broke. It was the Tenebris amulet again, and with it came a flood of fresh fury. Everything became a blur as the combined effects of the aventurine pendant and the amulet took hold, and she hardly felt the impact when she was flung from the rabbit's forehead at last. The rabbit was moving as it had been before again, now with that pest off its head. The enchanted brooch that came as a gift from the Goddess of Life and Love did its magic, and she was healed back to full. Still running on a bloodlust-fueled euphoric high, she got up and charged in blindly at the rabbit, and slashed madly at its exposed flank.

Had she been less addled, she would've hesitated when she saw the great terror lizard chomping away at the rabbit. But with her state of mind, her thoughts were swimming in a haze. The only thing she noticed was the massive, hard to miss magical beast unleashing wrath upon the world. The world was spinning, and her slashes were less restrained. Thankfully she had the healing shiv in one of her hands so if she inflicted collateral damage, the poor victims had a chance at getting themselves healed out of it. Everything was moving so slowly, it was irritating. She was sure this thing had been beaten more than halfway to death's doorstep by now. Why wasn't it keeling over yet?! Jabbing her blades at a foot, she thought of a dry joke about luck and rabbits' feet. Even with all four, that wasn't going to be enough to save it from the inevitable.

A spinning whirlwind of slicing flared out around her as she tore away at the magic beast's body. If it wasn't kicking the bucket now, that just meant she had to hit harder! The spectral ferret that had been tailing her from Antikythera attacked alongside its owner with a renewed frenzy. Biting and leaping, then coming back to claw and bite again, their movements and actions mirrored each other. With its wild war dance, the little mustelid was bent on taking a piece of the big bunny with it.

Walter was swinging the axe into anything that tried to come at him or brush past. He had to pull back from being hit, but somehow he made it through. Years of tracking beasts taught him to read how an enemy moved and understand what it meant. He wasn't one to spill blood, and thankfully these spectral fighters had none. They were magic, brought to life, not breathing beings. He quickly discovered fatal blows weren't wholly necessary to make them dissipate, and he took advantage of this to conserve his strength. When Eden was back on her feet, he stopped and stared in awe as she swung that massive iron club with the same ease as he did with the axe. No one had to tell him to stay clear and keep out of the way.

A shrill cry pulled his attention away to the sky, and he saw a raven black as night with a monstrous size! Out of nowhere it had entered the fight, and he could see something or someone in its claws. Then, to his horror–the giant bird dropped whatever it had been carrying right above the rabbit! That spinning form, two glints of metal in the light… It hit the rabbit and it immediately began thrashing, fiercely shaking the little tick that had handed on its head. Just then, something brushed by his legs. Glancing down, the lycanthorpe caught sight of a semi-transparent form slipping in and out of the gaps. A spectral ferret charged head-on at the rabbit, leaping to bite at its ankle. The rabbit's shaking threw it off, but it twisted back onto its feet and went after it again. Despite how small it was, the little creature's tenacity and determination to take on much larger prey was unrivaled. That dogged stubbornness brought a smile to his face. It was just like-

"…That little polecat. I'd expect nothing less from you." He now realized who had dropped themselves from that great height onto the rabbit's head. "I can see why that spirit animal following after you took that form. You two are a quite a pair." That spirit of hers was certainly like the nickname he'd come to give her. Once she set something in her sights, she held on and never let go. Loading up his crossbow again, he shot a bolt at the rabbit's exposed body before switching back to his axe again.

It had never been this hard or exhausting for her to get such aid out that she felt this limited. Was it because of the hari? It was the first time he called for her aid, yet her gut told her otherwise. It was probably simply how much it took her to control her gates, using up more energy to ensure they opened in the right spots instead of in the middle of the ocean. It would not have been the first time her instinct took over her to push the boundaries of what was possible, even if it meant pushing the limits. It did not make it any safer on her, though, as it was difficult for her to make out what was happening. Everything was a blur and all sounds had muffled together into an incoherent mess.

Luckily for her and Walter, there was not one entity ensuring her safety, but five, and soon a sixth. With all forms of entities around, it was easy for Eden to catch her breath, focus on what was going on. She was showing weakness right now, and that simply could not do. Weakness meant failing, and in the world outside of the arena walls, failing meant death. There was no one to carry you back to safety. No one to tend to your wounds. No one to stop a fatal blow if they did not want it…

Which meant she had to fight off the spinning world! Get back the sound going around her! Get her self back on her feet and add to the chaos around her! She will worry about what it will take to get them back later. Right now, all she could do is let them mess up the magical entities and join in on their take downs! Her eyes began to shine bright, like a predator who stared at its prey: one entity who broke through and headed for the tigerkin. What fool head demise, coursed though her mind as she lifted up the metal beam of a weapon and swatted it away, practically snapping the entity in two from the weight of the sword being thrown into its stomach before rushing in and adding to the turmoil.

The bear and big cat had no real issue taking on prey alone, but the wolf and jackal struggled with their size. However, the two made up for it by working together on their targets, trying to keep the pack in tow. However, the hari did not care for them. They were simply ants to get stomped or swatted away by the slam of his tail on the ground. The rabbit was its priority, and was the priority flailing around a ton with another tiny being flying itself onto it and latching down with blades, causing it to flail up a storm! The hari decided to aid it as best it could by grasping upon it once more, holding it still so it was the only the head that bounced back and forth. Still, this did not stop the lizard with teeth to stall down the fly that latched itself onto it, seeing what was stopping him from chomping down further.

It had started out as interesting for the most part, but now this great rabbit was more a nuisance than anything else. For the most part his temple had held up well while it made it’s path of destruction through the Valley of Vada, but the beast was yet to be stopped. Even now. He still didn’t trust his own magick, there was about a one in three chance that it would either do something random when he casted, or it would be over amplified and decorative. Two out of three are good odds, but not good enough when fighting a creature based solely in magick.

Which is why it was taking so long to get to it in the first place! When one relies on teleporting and gate travel for the most part in their travelling, going by foot or vehicle is painfully slow in comparison. By the time he made it to Sidhiel the fray was already well underway. The lapin looked even more fearsome than it had before and it was taking much more fire power to even leave a dent. So to speak.

A sharp flutter of wings resounded overhead and he looked up in time to see the great golden wings of a falcon shooting above him: twin trails of light followed behind its wing tips, both bright and wispy like the rest of its body. He wasn’t sure exactly why the spectral form of a falcon chose to follow him so closely, but so far the makeshift guide had been helpful in his pursuits.

It rose higher and higher into the air before instantly turning into a purposeful nose dive towards the spine of the lapin. A screech that resounded like a thousand wind chimes broke through the air just before it made contact with the rabbit’s back: sending out a ripple of light as it did so. This of course wasn’t enough to kill the beast, not by a long shot, but it left it momentarily stunned just long enough for others to take advantage and attack.

He was one such person, and instantly drew Torinasu, even without its magickal properties being used, it was a formidable blade. Naota managed to teleport successfully to appear in a silent rainbow flash of light at the rabbit’s hide as he swung his blade in an arch against its half exposed belly.

Arrows continued to fly from where the archer had perched himself up on the hill at the creatures that had been summoned by the rabbit.  In all of his years in life he had never imagined that he would be in such a battle.  As he continued to fight he noticed that just as quickly as the creatures were downed than another would replace it.  Damon could not fathom the amount of energy that the lapin was expelling in hopes to kill of its attackers.  Thankfully the ones that were doing the main fighting were hardy enough to take the damage that was being dealt.  The phoenix knew better than to throw himself in to the center of the fighting as he was a ranged fighter.  He still had not recovered after all the years from his severed connection to his goddess.  It would be an unwise decision to attempt to put himself with the rest of the throng.

Attention was pulled when the eerie and animal roar rippled through the air.  "What the…?"  Damon continued to shoot at the moving targets as he looked over at the tiger girl who had made all the noise.  Whatever she had done appeared to call for many animal companions of all shapes and sizes.  He could not help but be impressed with the small army that had been called forth to aid with the fighting of the minions.  "This will help tilt the scale into our favor."  There was not much time that could be spent on being impressed, for the call did not just bring the animals but it brought the attention upon the man and girl.  Damon sucked in a breath as he glanced between the armed man that helped the now exhausted girl and the lapin.

With a grunt he turned his stance and began to fire at the creatures that were making their way towards the pair.  Bodies fell to the ground, but it was not enough to keep a few from closing the gap and descend on the pair.  He cursed under his breath while beginning to run in the direction of the two.  No fire could be called upon as it was all with his own internal magic that could not be counted on in such a battle. There was no avoiding a close battle now that there was such a large number of enemies to fight off. While he ran the bow was slung across his chest, and in one smooth reach he pulled out a sword that glowed.  For the moment it remained quiet as it plunged into the magical creatures.  "Is she okay?!" he called over his shoulder at the man.  Swords struck one another to let out a metallic clang upon contact.  It had been a while since he had used his swordsmanship skills, but it was coming back quickly; it had to.

Taking cover from another of the rabbit's deadly beams again, Shiloh was trying to find a way to get higher up in the air. As the magic beast summoned fighters of its own out of the same magic it was made from, it looked like it was finally feeling threatened. At this rate, attacking from the ground would be less effective. It was already doing a lot of damage to everybody with its ranged and physical attacks, and getting within striking distance put yourself in line for unavoidable damage. She had to strike from above again. That was the plan, but it was hard finding a certain someone in the thick of battle. Her ability to sense singular presences was facing heavy interference from the high levels of magic emitted from the rabbit, and there were too many people on the ground right now. Otherwise, she would be bringing death from on high down on that blasted beast this very moment.

Finally her waiting paid off, as she saw the person she was looking for. Charging back into the fight, she made a beeline for a man cleaving his way through the illusory enemies with a claymore. "Sylvain!" As he turned to look in her direction, she threw a dagger into the chest of another magical construct soldier creeping up from behind. Joining him, she wasted no time in telling the vampire lord why she had sought him out. "We're not making enough headway down here. If we want to get this over with quick, we need to stun it–take it by surprise. Our best bet's a sneak attack from above right onto it's head." Plunging the length of his blade through a simulacrum soldier, he asked in between slashes: "And just how do you intend on performing such a feat?" Kicking a shimmering entity into another ally's sword, she replied quickly. "Oh that's easy–you're going to drop me on him."

"What?!" He looked at her like she had lost her marbles. "Look it's not that hard, just turn into a bird and fly up, then throw me at the thing! Aim for the head, preferably between the eyes. Come on, we don't have all day!" He was shaking his head, but he knew better than to think she was joking. To make his job easier, she unsheathed a wind-cutting katana in a wide sweep, clearing out most of the enemies that surrounded them in the immediate area. With the pressure taken off for a few moments, he transformed into massive, black raven and took to the skies with her in his talons. As the rabbit was preoccupied with the swarms of attackers down below, Sylvain gained altitude and flew over it until she shouted the signal. Then, he released her from his grasp sending the deity hurtling down with blades brandished and ready.

Hitting the magic beast dead-on, Shiloh landed smack-dab in the middle of its forehead. Her armor did little to cushion her fall, and she wasted no time in plunging her two swords right into its cranium. The rabbit gave out a blood-curdling shriek and began flailing more wildly than ever! Hanging on for dear life, she held onto her blades with a vise-grip as it bucked and rolled like a mad bull. A surge of raw magical power coursed through her swords like electricity through metal, and it nearly knocked her out cold. A green aventurine pendant around her neck resonated in response, and she felt its effects holding her on the brink of consciousness. She was battered and hurting, but she sure as the Circles wasn't giving up. "Yeah, that's right–this is for messing with my lightning towers back in Railoch! You hear me, you overgrown grass-eater?! You're gonna die today!"

From his talk with the tiger woman, Walter realized he was still thinking in the mindset of a man than a beast's. Beasts did not hold ownership over other living beings, only rank. It was easy to forget, being a part of those two very different worlds at once. "I see, you must've done something phenomenal to have such a creature come at your request. A beast with such strength and power would only acknowledge another with more or the same." When he had given her his name, her next gesture was unexpected. Instead of speaking, she lifted up that great metal beam to show him worn lettering underneath what he guessed was the weapon's guard. "So you have your name written here? 'Eden'. It is a good name, one with warmth and peace." Eden then moved her hand to show him something else when he asked her how she spoke to him.

Looking closely, he could see some sort of mark on the metal collar she wore around her neck. Judging by the weight and design, it must have been a slave collar at one time. But there was a scent coming from the mark different from the rest of the collar's parts. The longer he looked, the more it seemed familiar. It brought to mind the metal engraving he himself had on a strip of leather beneath his shirt. As the beastkin explained how her ability to speak to beasts came to be, Walter paid close attention. "It must be the favor of a god." The moment was interrupted when he and Eden felt a tension in the air, only to see numerous enemies taking shape out of the same shimmering energy the rabbit was composed from. He could see the conflict in her eyes and her behavior. What was she thinking now?

Walter readied his crossbow for a shot when the tiger woman gave a wild, animalistic cry that made goosebumps break out on his skin. Even without words, he could feel the rallying call for help. And the surprises continued, as beasts of all shapes and sizes began to appear around them in response to Eden's bellow. He could smell their scent, and unlike the rabbit they were fighting–these were flesh and blood beasts. He saw the wolf, one of his brethren in spirit among the reinforcements. Whatever she had done to bring them here, it was certainly a great strain upon the tiger woman. As she slumped to her knees, he went to steady the beastkin. "Eden!" He then realized that he couldn't move her to the sidelines to let her rest–her weapon was far too heavy for him to move, either as a man or a beast. Keeping himself close to her, he leveled his crossbow and fired a bolt squarely into the neck of one of the rabbit's conjured apparitions. If he couldn't move her to safety, then he would do what he could to buy her time to recover. Not bothering to reload, he pulled out an axe, ready to cut down the horde before they could come closer.

Bi-colored eyes widened in shock as magical sparks flew out of the rabbit while the hair and he attacked it.  Almost as quickly he glared and let out a loud growl.  The creature was turning desperate as its bodily form was being torn at quite fiercely.  Kiba glanced over at the lizard across from him that was enjoying itself quite a bit with the task set before it.  He had heard the title hari used to reference the thing.  The diowolf unlatched his jaw for a moment to catch his breath as well as reset his claws in the prey.  His entire maw felt as if it were tingling with jolts of lightening the longer he had been holding his grip.  If he continued to constantly hold the rabbit there was a possibility he would be injured even further.  The rabbit was now throwing its body even more frantically than before as it could tell that it was not as immortal as it was created to be.  What was this thing?  Why was it here?  What was the point of it all?

Heat trickled down his chest as the blood continued to pour from his wound.  He would have been lying if he said that he was not feeling light headed from the loss.  Between the blood loss and the magical currents jolted through him it was getting a little much for him to constantly take on.  Kiba shook his head in an effort to bring himself back to his senses.  There would be time to rest after the deed had been carried out to kill the magical beast.  A presence appeared behind him that made him whip his cranium to look at the woman who appeared.  His Reztreal flared as his vision set upon the young woman that carried an odd looking sword.  He titled his head to the side as she explained something that made little sense to him.  There was little time for him to reply as the sword was plunged into his leg quickly and then removed.  The diowolf yelped loudly but then clamped his mouth shut to keep attention being put upon them.

Just as quickly as she had appeared, the goddess had taken off.  "Thank you, milady," he called after her before jumping back onto the hare.  He could feel relief in his back leg as well as his chest as the wounds began to repair themselves.  There was no knowing what the sword actually was at the moment, but it was the one time he was grateful to get stabbed.

"… Ally," was the word that Eden matched with her connection to the hari. After all, their partnership was more of a deal than an ownership. When she called for aid, they were for assistance, not to prove ownership. Still, each one lent her help as a  form of thanks instead of obligation for one reason or another, with each story telling why being so different from the other outside of the first group. The one that helped her learn more of her gifts. However, when the man made his introductions, she turned to him and lifted up her weapon, showing underneath the guard of the massive club-sword where her name was inscribed out of habit, but said, "They call Eden Eden," knowing he could understand.

Though when it came to how she talked, she thought about how to explain it, her fingers tracing along the Crest of Adraejen on her collar. "Man touched me. Felt surge flow through. Now speak beast," Was the best she could put it, which was about as much as she could as a storm of enemy units began to form up around them: magical entities summoned by the rabbit who clearly felt threatened enough to call forth reinforcements. It took a lot out of her to call forth the hari… How much more could she muster? No think weak! echoed in her mind as her hand took to the metal collar's latch and loosened it up once more, bellowing yet another cry at the minions before them.

Smaller pools of reality thinned once more before more beasts walked out to her side: a proud wolf, a massive cat, an old bear, and a humble jackal. As much as she hoped to get the elephant there as well, she knew she was pushing her limits, falling to her knees and supporting herself on her weapon as she clasped the collar back shut, trying to catch her breath. The world…. it felt so dizzy… "Hold… off…" she was able to get out before her small pack of animals worked on their counter forces of the magical army.

As for the hari though, enjoying his prey as much as he could, he made a move as if to prove his dominance. He was the stronger one! He was the one who controlled this fight! Catching a grasp upon the rabbit's front, he lifted up the front torso of the rabbit before throwing it down on the side, stomping on the fallen rabbit and screaming in glory about the achievement!

"Well this is a sight I never thought I would see."  The archer ran his hands through his short cropped hair as he looked upon the insanity before him.  He stood atop a small hill near some of the woods to get a good visualization.  Rumors had quickly spread of the ethereal rabbit that had manifested and was messing with magic.  Damon had been working a small job for a village council when he had heard of this chaos.  It had been difficult to believe, but then again there was a lot of odd things that he had witnessed in the past few years alone.  Shifting his weight to the side, he crossed his arms across his chest.  Green leather armor squeaked slightly with the movement.  I better oil this after all is said and done. There was quite a battle that was raging below and he had to figure out exactly how to fit into it.  Instincts pushed him to avoid the use of any magic since the magic circuits were being manipulated by the manifestation.  The ranger shook his head while reaching back to grab his phoenix bow.  Grasping in tightly, he pulled an arrow from his quiver.  Between his fingers he spun the arrow as he watched the movements of the soldiers closest to the hare.  If he was to being shooting at the beast it would be difficult with the giant wolf and lizard thing in such close quarters.  From time to time there were humanoids that added their efforts in.

As he looked on he began to notice what looked like flares spark out of the rabbit as it was attacked.  Damon clenched his jaw as he began to see the split off magic hit the ground.  A deep frown marred his features as he concentrated on the numerous pools of magic.  "Oh…by the Flame…" he whispered.  Slowly the magic pools began to lift into the air and take shape.  "We are going to need more people."  Damon watched as the shapes turned into those of humanoid forms with assorted weapons in hand.  Sparks continued to fly out of the rabbit as it conjured its own army to come to its defense.  The phoenix lost count of the minions it had now raised.  Not one of them had moved yet.  Damon looked at the giant wolf and lizard on the rabbit as they continued to attempt and bring the hare down.

In a split second the hundreds of magical minions now turned their weapons on the main assailants of their master.  Damon notched his bow in a flash and released just as quickly.  The arrow flew through the air and lodged itself in one of the creatures.  He was relieved to see that it fell to the ground as if it had been a flesh creature mortally wounded.  As the manifestation hit the ground the magic dispersed in the air like evaporating water.  Damon continued to release arrows and hit his targets that were closet to the rabbit overlord (not something he ever thought he would see) in an effort to keep them away from the attackers….but there were too many.  "I hope the others join in soon…" he breathed.

Shiloh was back in the thick of the fighting, all senses raring as she was avoiding being hit by the rabbit. She could smell blood somewhere, normal blood. Fortunately she didn't need magic to find where it was coming from. Seeing an abnormally large black wolf tearing at the magical beast, she confirmed the stench of blood was from here. Her mouth turned to scowl as she realized she didn't have any potions on her, but then she remembered something important. Right, she had that special sword. Shiloh had nearly forgotten about it after mentally blocking her memories of that god-awful maze worse than the Circles of Inferos. In her time at Vada, she had added a very unique blade to her growing armory. Made from both lacriamium and obsidian, it had one of the best abilities even imbued onto a weapon–it would heal anything it hit, unless it was undead or an apparition. A weapon that effectively made it impossible to hurt yourself while using it? Truly the gods' gift to man.

Taking the dual edged sword in hand, she came up behind the massive black wolf and began making her presence known. Holding the blade like how one would wield a dagger, she approached calmly and slowly. "I just want to let you know that you have nothing to worry about. This is going to hurt just a little bit, but soon it'll all be fine. Just a little prick…and your wounds will close up." Without further ado, she proceeded to jab the pointed end into the black wolf's leg, then pulled it back out. Hearing the rabbit begin its stomping, she ran off to get out of its range. Strangely enough, after the blade struck any minor injuries and wounds were restored. Even the stab wound she had inflicted was disappearing, and was fully healed. It was a rather odd and slightly disturbing way of helping, but it worked.

With healing shiv in hand, Shiloh was feeling much better about the fight. She wouldn't have to worry about healing potions anymore with this around. Skirting around the rabbit, she slashed at its leg and continued to run. The most important thing was to keep moving so she wouldn't get caught. There were plenty of people attacking it from the ground, but there had to be a better and more efficient way to speed the process along. As she tucked and rolled out of the way from another barrage of concentrated arcane energy, she found herself staring at its head. If only she could get high enough to hit it between the eyes… Maybe it would deal more damage, and possibly stagger it for a short while. And while it was downed, then everybody else could rush in to weaken it more.

As they kept a safe distance from the fighting, Walter heard someone speak to him. It was strange, like the other part of him could feel someone calling him to attention. A new scent joined them, and he saw a woman with traits of a tiger approach. She told the wolf not to worry; the Bakulaw lizard was only interested in the hunt for strong prey. She also said that if the lizard did not find himself something worth chasing down, he would go after her as food. A terrible scream made him jump in his skin, and he saw the towering creature of scale and muscle rear back with pain. But bloodlust was in its veins, and the urge for a predator to take down its chosen prey proved stronger than the injury. It returned the pain by inflicting another nasty bite. It was enough to make him shiver. Very few beasts possessed bloodlust as part of their primal instincts. While most hunters focused themselves on taking down a kill, the Bakulaw relished in crushing and terrorizing its prey. The tiger woman spoke again to the wolf in him, uneasy at the beast's enjoyment of the carnage as he was.

"If you say so…It still makes goosebumps break out on my skin watching him." He said to the beastkin. "That one, is he yours? We're all here to put this strange rabbit-like creature down. Wherever it goes, magic nearby won't work right. And with it fighting like that, if somebody gets hurt things will get dangerous." Healers wouldn't be able to mend wounds or raise the dead unless the injured or dead were moved out of the immediate area. He had never thought causing disruptions in magic would lead to such serious consequences until now. Shiloh was already heading off to rejoin the fray, so the lycanthorpe and tiger-woman were left alone. "Is that your weapon? You must be very strong to use something like that. My name is Walter. I've been wondering for a while now, but how is it I can hear your voice without you speaking?"

He checked his crossbow again, and when he confirmed it was loaded and ready he lowered it to the side. It was an interesting contrast between them–a young woman wielding a massive metal club and an old dog like him using a crossbow. He would've never thought she would have possessed such strength. Her scent was something he had never encountered before. It wasn't like a human's or a beast's, but it wasn't a combination either. It was an entirely different one. This was his first time meeting a being bearing beast blood outside of lycanthropy.

Claws and teeth once again piercing the creature sent an odd sensation rippling through his body.  He could feel the magic coursing search his own magical circuits.  The longer he held on the more he felt the prob of the rabbis magic.  Kiba released his lock on the neck of his target to readjust.  As he went to latch back on despite the eerie pain, he was thrown off by the erratic movements of the lapin.  The diowolf felt a jolt to his chest that knocked the breath right out of him.  He tumbled over and over along the ground until he lay in a heap for a few moments.  Eyes remained closed as he attempted to focus his mind through the ringing in his ears.  What seemed like a distance away the sound of the roaring lizard thing could be heard.  He took a couple more minutes until he could bring himself to open his dual colored eyes to see what was going on.  There were an increasing number of warriors that were arriving to help with the cause.  It was becoming evident by many that the ethereal creature was a danger to them all.  Ley lines weren't meant to be as tangled as they were currently.

Kiba lifted his cranium into a laying position with his legs moved underneath him.  Something warm could be felt trickling down his chest, and with one sniff he could tell it was his own blood.  Great…and the Mother had just healed me.  If she finds out, I am fairly certain she will smack me or something.  The diowolf then let out a wolfish laugh.  She had been quite different than he had imagined.  Mother figure indeed.  Reztreal was used to look over the forces that had come to join the fight against the magic array.  There was a goddess to be certain, but he smelled another wolf that was beside her.  He had yet to meet a werewolf in Revaliir.  A wolf at the side of a goddess…very interesting.  With a grunt he pushed himself up to stand again.  Crimson fluid stained where he had just been laying down.  There was not enough there for him to be concerned enough not to join in the battle again.

Rolling his shoulders Kiba sprinted towards the focus again.  A jolt shot through his body as he sunk his claws in once more.  Sparks began to flare out from the rabbit in defense and he was fairly certain that was what had knocked him out earlier.  In such a close proximity he knew there was no way for him to defend against it.  The giant mouthed lizard had been injured while Kiba had been down.  From everything he could tell, the lizard was now enjoying himself while fighting the magic.  If it got the beast to help with the cause then Kiba was happy to see the thing happy.  All he needed to do was focus on pulling away at the magic that held the hare together.  It was possible to pull it apart, but it was going to be difficult with the magical circuits being as crossed as they were.

Internally, Eden sighed in relief as she watched the massive lizard with teeth maul down upon the rabbit that sat before them. He was cooperating, which meant she was not going to be eaten and there would be no worry on how such a dangerous beast would be able to get back to where it lived without question of how everything on this part of the land would survive such a threat rampaging the lands. All good. With that and another massive wolf assaulting it on both sides, it was not going to be easy for it to escape. It would be safe to assume the rabbit was, at the very least, pinned down.

However, other entities were before her, one of which fell off the massive hare and the other saved by yet another wolf. Still, even if the one was saved, her gut told her to make sure they were alright. Picking up what could only be called a metal club with an edge on it from the ground and resting it on her shoulder, the tigerkin rushed forth to check up on them. Her ears flicked as she grew closer, hearing their voices grow louder with each step until she paused before a man and a woman… Which was strange because she could have sworn she saw a wolf save the woman. Then again, he did smell of wolf, and those that smelled of other animals were often ones who could understand her voice.

"He fine," Eden stated, though her lips not moving, talking in the silent tongue of animals instead. "Prideful. Only want strong prey, else I food. What you? You do good?" As she set down the weapon, a screamed echoed in the air from the hari, causing Eden's tail to shoot out straight and hairs stand on end before looking up, watching the hari before them stagger back from a massive gash on his chest as it recovered from a massive beam of energy. However, instead of getting deterred, the hari seemed more… excited! It was interesting prey it had never seen or given such challenge… and he was one to take it all in as he aimed to bite down even harder upon it! "He have fun? Not know… scary thought."

With a rising battle cry, she slammed into the magical beast with full force, sinking her weapons into its enchanted hide. The smell of fire and magic was making her sick, but she held on like a stubborn tick as the rabbit tried to shake her loose. "You're not getting rid of me that easily!" She said, her face twisting into a smirk. This was the best possible place to land a hit–on its back where it couldn't immediately reach. Yanking out her sword, she kept the axe blade in. However with the rabbit's erratic movements she started to lose her footing as it reared up in pain. With no time to reestablish her footing, the force of gravity took hold, dragged her down. "ARGH–NO!" Her insistent grip on the handles of her weapons resulted in her carving a nasty gash down the rabbit's backside.

Her axe breaking free from the rabbit, she plummeted towards the ground, trying to orient herself in the best way to reduce her impact. This was going to hurt a lot. Bracing herself for the incoming pain, she caught a glimpse of something greyish brown dart out from the edge of the battle towards the rabbit. It quickly drew closer until it almost reached her, then rushed ahead for a great leap forward. And just in time, she landed squarely on its back. Now on the back of a large wolf, she was still catching her breath when it turned its head to speak to her. "You need to be more careful with yourself, polecat. Good thing I saw you from a mile away. Remember the last time you took a bad spill and landed backside down?" Checking that she still had her weapons, she coughed a few times to get air in her lungs before responding back. "Thanks Walter. Even if you missed, I still have that magic pin from Angela you know."

Walter brought her back to the sidelines, and let her down before shifting back. "That's all and good, but you should save it for when you're in a bind. It's powerful, I know–but it only works once every few days. Best keep it until your options are low." She nodded, and switched her sword out for a different blade. She then noticed the look on his face as he saw something behind them. Turning around, she saw one of those massive terror lizards from Bakulaw rush the rabbit and take a bite out of its flank. "How did somebody manage to bring one of those things all the way here?" Walter whistled as they watched it do what Bakulaws did best, attack their prey without mercy. "We're going to have to be more careful, and that goes for all of us." She muttered. "I've seen a few of those things, and you do not want to be on the ground or in sight when one of them is running around. They could bite a warg in half, and probably eat a whole horse." "I'm glad I've never run into one of those in Canelux." The tracker said quietly.

He was feeling anxious, and the wolf was too. As they flew from Railoch, it was hard or him to sit still on board. Every few minutes he would get up and walk around, then sit down again. Rumors of a magical rabbit spread across the world in days, and with more sightings by the hour he wasn't sure what to think. Then one day, the illumination in the greenhouse went out. Shiloh was furious, and he heard her storm down the halls muttering curses under her breath. The hum of machinery had stopped, and people were running around trying to figure out what had happened. From what he picked up from the deity's grumbling, everything inside was supposed to be working fine. She curtly told one of the metal golems that she was going out to inspect something, and ran out the front door.

Almost half a day later, she came back sopping wet with dried mud encrusting her boots. She looked tired, but less angry than before. After a new change of clothes and time to dry off, he went and asked her what happened. What he heard made him shake is head in bewilderment. Apparently that magical rabbit had the ability to distort what ever energies were used in casting magic, causing unpredictable results. And because of that, it had made the lightning towers run awry outside. Shiloh then continued explaining how she chased the thing all the way out of Himinn Pass, only for it to vanish into thin air. She was still sore about the whole thing, and he told her not to think about it anymore. Then came the new reports of it emerging in Sidhiel. Right away Shiloh was ready to declare war on that rascal of a rabbit, and no amount of persuading could get her to think otherwise. Walter had never seen it for himself, so he wondered why she still held such anger towards the thing. Even if it had magical origins, just how bad could a single rabbit be?

When the docks were in sight, he learned how wrong he was. It wasn't just a rabbit, it was a towering, shimmering monstrosity with a rabbit's shape. If that was what made the power in all of Antikythera cut short, then no wonder Shiloh was madder than a hornet. The little polecat was on the warpath, and ordered for the doors to be opened briefly so she could land a deadly surprise attack from above. Even more amusing was the actual polecat that now followed after the deity–though somewhat incorporeal like the gigantic rabbit below. Once the airship landed, everybody was out the door in a mad rush to take the beast on. The rabbit was even more massive from the ground, but he kept his instincts in check. And it was a good thing he did–for the magical beast began firing beams of destructive energy down at those already beginning their assault.

His wolf form wouldn't do him any good right now. The added mobility would only make him a moving target. Loading up his crossbow he came in from the sides, moving from cover to cover until he was within range. With a well-aimed shot, he sent a bolt flying towards one of the rabbit's feet. It was too large for him to hit the ankles, but as long as it lodged itself around the area it might slow down the rabbit's movements. Ducking back behind a low wall he began to reload, keeping an ear out for any incoming attacks. As he glanced over the wall for another shot, he saw someone dangling from the rabbit's back. With a cry of pain, it shook itself to get rid of them, and he watched tensely as the figure flailed about. This wasn't good; a fall from that height would kill anyone. Setting his crossbow down, he broke into a sprint and shifted into a wolf in hopes of catching them as soon as they fell.

This better go better than the last time, I don't know how much more I have in me.  Kiba stood on his giant black paws a distance away from where the monstrous hare now sat.  It had changed significantly across its journey of the land.  Magic had gone horribly wrong in its wake and could not be allowed to stay any longer.  The diowolf took a moment to sit upon his haunches and watch the lapin move about, and his Reztreal could see the ley lines shot in different directions chaotically.  Tail flipped from side to side as he monitored the situation below.  He was going to need to make a move soon, or the creature would have too much power.  He had followed the apparition for quite a distance over the span of many days now.  Even though the diowolf was knew to the land of Revaliir he did not have the heart to allow it to be caused such troubles.  There were good people he had met along his travels.  If there was something he could do to help then he would do all that was possible to end the now nightmare.  It was difficult to think about the situation with a small chuckle.  A giant ethereal rabbit was rampaging the countryside.  What a story this would make…if they all made it through somehow.

Kiba grunted as he stood up.  A small wince flinched on his face as he felt the injury in his back leg.  All he could hope for was that once the adrenaline had begun to move in his system he would not feel it any longer.  In his last encounter the creature had been powered by lightening itself.  A clip had been made in his leg that made things difficult for him moving around.  The diowolf shook out his fur and then stretched in preparation.  Cranium lifted as he caught sight of a ship flying above that was full of a strong aura.  That aura could only be that of one of the deities.   It was impressive that they were as involved with the mortals here as they were.  Ears pinned to the back of his head as he watched the strong aura fling itself from the ship in a straight shot down towards the target.  "That is going to hurt on both sides," he mused aloud.

With one more shake of his fur, Kiba kicked off the ground into a fast run to close the gap between him and his prey.  He caught sight of the femme tiger that had been at the last site.  They had chased the creature out to its current location, and he gave a wolfish grin.  What shocked him into almost halting his charge was the appearance of a reptile with an innumerable amount of teeth.  I think that will come in handy.  Kiba altered his course to come from behind the rabbit in an effort to let the now incoming army to take their shot as well as this new beast.  He kicked the ground hard with his back legs to launch into the sky and land upon the hare's back.  Claws dug into the back and then bit with his powerful teeth.  It would take everyone to take the beast down in a timely manner before it could do damage to the magical current there.  It had to be done.

The more she chased, the bigger it got. Its size was imposing, and it saw nothing that got in its way as an obstacle. The more she and others chased it, the more fierce it grew. It would not respond to her or anything else that got in its way. With how large it stood, there was no way she could do much to it. What she would give to simply understand what such entity was… Why it existed and why it caused so much conflict. Whatever it was, it was dangerous and had to be taken down, but how?

Her ears flicked upwards before her eyes were drawn to the massive vessel hailing from the sky, hanging over the entity as it opened up and waves of people her sized stormed out, doing whatever they could. One of them had a pair of weapons that gleamed with years of experience and an aura that screamed alpha. What she declared the others followed. So, too, was her position when she called for aid… Maybe it was time she did the same. But who? Hardly any of them could match up in terms of size let alone power… Well, one did, but he was picky… NO! she told herself, looking up at the massive rabbit. This may work!

Taking in a deep breath, Eden lifted her arm up to the shackle around her neck, unleashing its bindings and freeing her throat up before letting out an impending roar, echoing in the air as her tiger-like scream called for aid. Her throat rippled as she gave it everything she got until she could no longer hold it, locking the clasp once more before locking it up again. The air felt still to her, but behind, it was as if reality was thinning. A forest was starting to show itself with new scents and echoes escaping it… before a massive foot tore through it and into this reality.

A massive presence pushed itself through as green scales pushed through, an entity standing just as tall as the rabbit itself came forth: a hari! "You dare call me name?!" he roared, its screech echoing in the air just as loud as hers was. "You know of our agreement: dare waste my time, and you are my next meal!"

Eden nodded before pointing at the massive rabbit. "No take light. Powerful. Take army. Take sky bolt no issue." While the hari stared on, questioning if she was serious, he did admit it would make a fine meal at the very least, taking charge upon the rabbit and grabbing it. While its arms were small, they were packed my hundreds of pounds of muscle, letting it make sure it had a fine grasp before attempting to chomp down upon it.

"Captain, Port Maeron has appeared on the horizon." From the deck of the Clephsydra, the deity of storms stood looking out over the ocean below. It had finally come to this. The rabbit had been chased off the mainland, and it was now on the high elves' island. "Prepare for landing, Erasmus. All hands on deck! The hunt, has begun." Taking out her axe, she hefted its head in the palm of her hand. "Bring us over, and when we're in position–open the doors." With her were her best combat units, this time comprised of mainly melee combat models. With magic going awry near the rabbit, they'd have to take it down the old fashioned way…through brute force. "We're in position, Captain! Opening airlocks in three, two, one…" Galatea shouted as the doors began to come loose.

Swinging the door open, Shiloh looked down as she saw the large mass of magic now more than double the size it had been when she chased it off in Railoch. With axe and flaming sword in hand, she leaped from the side of the airship and began hurtling downwards toward the rabbit like a meteor. And on cue, the airship flew on further ahead to land. Once it touched down, the fighters she had brought along came charging out like a battalion of soldier ants rushing an insect a hundred times their size. "Aim for the neck…go for the spine…" She muttered as she spiraled down into a controlled free fall.

Galatea and Diomedes were leading the ground assault, and the rest of her employees were not far behind. Their plan of action was simple, deal as much damage as possible while avoiding injury. Healing magic would undoubtedly be impacted along with the other arcane arts. And whatever potions they had on hand must be conserved until they absolutely needed them.
